VIOLENCE MAY NOT BE THE ANSWER; BUT WE SEEK AN ARBITER OF TRUTH, AND WE KNOW NO TRUER OTHER
by Brandon Hayes
Swords first; words second. When words fail swords are drawn; violence is at the bedrock NOT discussion.
This is the way of the world: âWar, uncivilization, chaos are the defaults – peace and civilization are the anomalies. All civil human interactions draw from a complex set of proxies for violence.â â Bill Joslin
Truth and what is true isnât created in words (but discovered and explained); as words must be chosen carefully to have any grounding at all. Truth is reality en toto (words can barely do it justice). This is why God (reality) is the flaming sword bearer. This is why having untrue aim is to sin; for an arrow to fly true it adheres to Truth.
All your proxies for the truth have blinded you to it; have protected you from it; have given you a false sense of its absence; and truth will be your rude awaking, as youâve been ignoring its soft cries and recent screams.
Please understand, until recently your proxies have sufficed. The idea to minimize violence through civilized means is a kind one; we believe in extending kinship. But, the unfit proxies havenât replaced violence as of late; they have merely postponed it. We donât settle issues anymore; we push them off and allow them to stew. Instead of keeping the pot cool youâve been heating the water slowly in hopes of boiling you some frogs; theyâve noticed and are now escaping the pot.
Look, we can (still, but not for long) avoid the conflicts to come; we, as humans, have a unique ability of willing ourselves into proper action (agency). We can change our behavior sets based on ideas; we can bully ourselves into new behavioral patterns; we can be our own animal trainers (domesticators).
âThe difference is, that because I look for negative externalities, frauds, thefts, exchanges, positive transfers, and positive externalities I CALCULATE that an action is immoral, amoral, or moral, and you INTUIT it.
I have the AGENCY to consider all possibilities and choose the moral, amoral, or the immoral as required.
This is the lesson of sun tzu, machiavelli, and aristotle – as well as every other general: morals are not truths but utilities, not knowledge but habits. The great books of wisdom and strategy are written so that we do not make the mistakes of christians and allow ourselves to be conquered, for having forgotten how to fight.
They are written to ensure that we are civilized by reason not by habit..
I have agency. I am not an animal. My intuitions provide information only. My reason rules my decisions. Moral, amoral, immoral, as needed.â â Curt Doolittle
The arbiters of truths are always unpleasant; the truth is undesirable. That is until the Truth comes as violence and becomes undeniable. Human beings have it in them to fend off the harsh Truths of nature; even of human nature; but the humans show no signs that they will allow their lies to abate; they egg the truth on woefully unprepared for the horrors it has in-store for those whoâve denied it so long.
Can we wise up in time? I pray we can; but I promise prayers alone arenât enough.

I don’t do ‘mad’. Emotions as motivations are for animals. I do reciprocity, returns, eugenics and evolution. My fellow humans understand. You animals don’t, because you can’t. Agency is a property of humans alone. Hence why domesticated animals must be ruled by humans.

by John Mark
One of the things that has helped me the most about Curt’s work is simply thinking in terms of “do they (whatever group) steal or not”. In other words, do they operate in reciprocity (natural law) or not.
E.g. as Curt says, it’s not capitalism vs socialism, it’s rule of law (reciprocity, natural law, no theft) vs absence of it (corruption, parasitism, theft). (Rough not exact paraphrase)
So many of the labels/terms people use are poorly defined or have different meanings depending on the speaker (often purposefully so, as a means of deceit/theft).

SEEING THE DICHOTOMY AND TEACHING IT
by John Mark
Now that I see this dichotomy between hopeful-moral-wishful thinking and resigned-legal-realistic thinking, I see it everywhere.
Leftists, obviously moral/wishful. Libertardians, “principled conservatives”, classical liberal, and Civnats are still moral/wishful.
Even my wife, after Dems took the House, was emotionally upset. I said, “I’ve been telling you democracy is false hope for a long time now. Even if we’d won the House it would mean nothing in the long run.” “Yeah, but it’s just so upsetting (moral rant as she works through the emotions).”
It is hard to have your hopes shattered. High-openness right-wingers have it a bit easier because we immediately probe for outside the box solutions, that’s what we do. Low-openness folks have it harder because change is less comfortable for them in general.
It’s amazing watching the Right catch up to us slowly in real time. TheConservativeTreehouse (boomer civnat site) comment section on midterms night had many people saying “this was the nonwhites”. A new dynamic for them, normally signal hard against any race talk. The site proprietor said he just wanted to go fishing. (Emotional/wishful/hopeful thinking being shattered into realism.)
Becoming more aspie/scientific/realistic is emotionally difficult for most people, it usually only happens through the trauma of reality slapping them in the face brutally, and even then humans show a remarkable capacity to resist it. But any individual or group that embraces it (classic example Western Civ) to a greater extent than others has a tremendous advantage.
So the question is vital: How do we *train* it?

Bill Joslin,
Seems minor but is the hardest problem of training a core: what do men need to learn to change from hopeful and moral, to resigned and legal frames. YOu stated your change of frame. I watched it happen. How can we EXPLICITLY state this objective as a goal of educating ‘men’ so that we rule by reason rather than wishful thinking?
Thanks.

In other words, yes, I’m shaming you for trying to obtain sovereignty at a discount, (fraud), because you are shaming me for stating that sovereignty cannot be obtained at a discount (truth).
