INTELLIGENCE TESTING AND NEURAL ECONOMY
My understanding of the Analytic (external) to Empathic (internal) Spectrum of Grammars used in intelligence testing.
|| Raven’s(Patterns) < Math(Short term memory) < Logic < Vocabulary < Argument(Judgement) < Interpretation of Prose (Reading Comprehension).
Like anything else, these tend to be gender biased if for no other reason than we train our brains by the route with the most available information to train our brains.
Not complicated. Networks do what they do. Inputs determine categories, values, and relations.
Neural plasticity exists, however, neural economies also exist. And like all things, we pay for one thing in lieu of paying for another.
Now, I don’t believe in multiple intelligences simply because intelligence scales in concert across all abilities. But with that scaling we still encounter the difference between the vertical (analytic) male brain structure of specialization and horizontal (synthetic) female brain structure of generalization.
Distributions in everything.

The only reason for the expansion of cults is a failure to institutionalize training of emotions the way we institutionalize training in the calculations (reading, writing, grammar, logic, math, physics, chemistry, biology, programming, sentience). Those who fail to innovate seek to repeat the errors of the past, not recognizing the frame past ideas required.

Um. Aristotle, Confucius, Plato, Socrates, Lao Tzu, Abraham. That order is meaningful. What grammars does each depend upon?
October 11th, 2018 6:52 AM ALL SPEECH IS MEASUREMENT, ALL STATEMENTS TRANSACTIONS. BUT MEASUREMENT OF WHAT? You know, the material universe seemed complicated until we discovered the atomic structure and created the periodic table of the elements. The same is true for the Grammars. Once you understand the grammars, all speech is as open to inspection and comprehension on its structure alone. Once you understand that we can produce only one parsimonious consistent and correspondent frame: operations, that provides universal commensurability, you understand why all frames like all theories, like stories, are weak analogies, self delusions, or frauds. There is only one ‘way of thinking’ (frame) that consists of truth, and an infinite number of frames that are weak, delusional or fraudulent. Why? because we evolved to negotiate, not to speak the truth. We must learn to speak the truth as a means of calculation, just as we must learn to calculate using every OTHER method of calculation. This is why postmodernism and every other disciplinary, cult, ideological, and private vocabulary is just fraud at some degree of scale.
