    People who feel out of control of their lives want to feel smart and in control so they create narratives that provide them with the false comfort of understanding, when in fact, all they do is manufacture their own ignorance.

    Yes, well that’s exactly it, isn’t it? Which is why Socrates was so proud of saying he knew nothing. Because we never know what is true, only what is false. So retain skepticism in all things.

    When you encounter an idea ask yourself the following: Is this what people really do? Because Human beings always follow the same, practical, tedious, boring, recipe:

    RECIPE

    1) Identify opportunities to obtain the greatest reward in the shortest time, with the greatest certainty, at the lowest cost, with the least risk.

    2) justify why one’s actions are good regardless of whether they are in fact good.

    3) explain history by presuming knowledge at the outset that actors did not possess until after the fact.

    WHY? BECAUSE:

    4) life consists of entirely mundane activities with rare exceptions, and we merely exploit opportunities then create history around them making ourselves sound good and heroic.

    5) people in power are in power because it is in many people’s interest that they are in power, and that is the only reason they are in power. And almost always 1-4 above apply.

    THEREFORE

    6) so if you can’t explain what people are trying to do as a mundane search for benefits by the cheapest means possible, then creating stories to cover for them, you don’t know what happened.

How about when a liberal was drunk from the hysteria and ACTUALLY SHOT A CONGRESSMAN, surely it had nothing to do with unprecedented fake news and plays and books glamorizing the murder of Republicans.

    But we supposedly live in a white supremacists where whites—who are for better or worse the founders of Europe and the USA and everywhere that’s civilized where brown people flock to and are welcomed more graciously than anywhere else in history—when these whites want to gather IN THEIR OWN LAND and advocate for their right to continue existing and to protest the erasure of our culture and history they require a federal permit that the states won’t recognize, a national emergency is called before the event can even begin, the president and ALL of the media condemns them, and when ONE person goes too far and when ONE leftist dies it’s obviously because all non-leftists are white supremacists and everyone on all sides in America and now around the globe condemns the hate from “white supremacists”.

    It’s not a left VS right thing any more. It’s THE WORLD VS whites, where all the violence and hysteria of every side is ignored or rationalized, or even blamed on whites, and where ANY resistance by whites is condemned as white supremacy.     I was connected to all the top libertarians before I gutted libertarianism. History had already gutted marxism. Peterson and Hicks are gutting left’s postmodernism. I’m just showing how to gut all postmodern speech left and right. And I’ll take out the use of postmodernism by the right over the next year.

    And then we will have an honest discussion about how we will conduct civil war and destroy this government, or we will have one under which we devolve the regulation of norms to the regions, and limit the federal government (once again) to the regulation of trade between states, and the defense of the continent – just as europe will as the european project fails in tandem.

    The present is only novel to those who have not mastered history, economics, and demographics. People are just another domesticated animal. We are special only in that we can use language and reason to negotiate cooperation or war with each other, rather than throw feces and shouting.
