AMERICAN VS UK DIVERGING LIFESPANS
1) Life expectancy varies by neotenic evolution (race) trading low rate and depth of maturity and aggression for lifespan and self regulation. As such we see life expectancy for:
Black Americans 70.8 years;
Hispanic Americans 77.7 years
White Americans 76.4 years
Asian Americans 83.5 years
For women and men, life expectancy of 79.1 years and 73.2 years reflects a long-apparent, significant gap.
The only unexpected value is the hispanics, becaues the demographic distribution is too young, and not in america long enough to express negative american health behaviors. They are also more culturally insulated from the opioid epidemic.
2) Obesity is the greatest influence on american declines in health, and lowering of life expectancy. It also produces behavioral consequences that are not well discussed in the literature.
3) Yes the divergence is at the bottom and narrows to zero at the top of the income pyramid, but this is also due to class differences in self regulatory behavior.
4) Gun Deaths are an intentional misrepresentation for political reasons. More than half of gun deaths are suicides, and they are disproportionately white males over 50 due do lonliness. The vast majority of gun violence as well as crime is in the black community, where 14% of the population is responsible for half of all crime. Europe retained the ability to culturally indoctrinate citizens, but the ‘civil rights’ movement and the race-marxist movement that drove it, removed our abilty to culturally indoctrinate minorities into high trust european behavioral norms (UK is failing right now too.)
