Critical Rationalism And Justificationism: Just The Beginning
The critical rationalists are vocal about the ever present effects of ever present justificationism. yet they do not take this into behavior, manners, ethics, morals, politics, and economics to the same degree that they do to verbal argument, statistics, and physical sciences. The world is built subtractively: we seek to make things cheaper. We cannot make time and energy, we can only save them. We cannot make liberty we can only suppress parasitism. -
Anglo Civilization: Wishful Thinking
(wishful thinking) Maybe the brits will get smart, make use of the royalty asset, and make a play to re-lead the anglosphere, of UK, CA, USA, AUS, NZ, GIB…. You know? Reform the UN? Take some leadership away from the USA? USA 320M, UK 65M, CA 40M, AUS 23M, NZ 4.5M
That’s 450M people. That’s the magic number for a world power. I know. I know…. -

Exchanging Opportunity for Parasitism for Opportunity for Homesteading.
Proximity decreases opportunity costs. We can also argue that as a consequence of reduced opportunity costs we can create opportunities otherwise impossible. And as a consequence, we compete to discover and homestead those opportunities. We make this density possibly by the high cost of forgoing opportunities for imposing costs. Thereby preserving cooperation despite an equal decrease in the opportunity for parasitism. As such we exchange the increased cost of forgoing opportunity for parasitism for the decreased costs of opportunity for homesteading opportunities.
This concept is missing from the literature. We focus too much upon money that provides numerous additional discounts. And we focus too little operationally on the creation of conditions that make trade and money possible. This oversight is related to the other errors of the enlightenment -

To follow the word of Jesus: to extend love to all, leads to greater happiness.
To follow the word of Jesus: to extend love to all, leads to greater happiness. To follow natural law as an extension of Jesus’s teachings. To read the lives of saints. To find community in the church- all of these things are goods.
To confuse myth and history. To confuse wisdom and truth. To confuse advice and law. These are bad things.

The only discrete phenomenon in the mind is our attempt to focus in order to generate reward. Or stated differently, all mental processes are continuous with the reward system’s consistency the only stable process.
The fact that we use the scientific method, discreetness, and reductio examples for the purpose of understanding, does not mean the mind works discretely. It doesn’t.
Which is precisely why we are dependent upon discrete analysis.
Because we need to. It’s alien.

Cultural Observations
Americans are ridiculously petty.
I realise that pettiness increases as class decreases. But I had forgotten how petty Americans are.
America is evidence of the Peter principle writ large. In an attempt to create an aristocracy of everyone we have enabled people to live beyond their capacity.
Not the productive capacity, but their emotional and psychological and social capacity.
