The only discrete phenomenon in the mind is our attempt to focus in order to generate reward. Or stated differently, all mental processes are continuous with the reward system’s consistency the only stable process.
The fact that we use the scientific method, discreetness, and reductio examples for the purpose of understanding, does not mean the mind works discretely. It doesn’t.
Which is precisely why we are dependent upon discrete analysis.
Because we need to. It’s alien.
