  • Man: Known as In Self Deceptions or Known as In Demonstrated Actions (truth)?

October 21st, 2018 1:36 PM MAN: KNOWN AS IN SELF DECEPTIONS OR KNOWN AS IN DEMONSTRATED ACTIONS (TRUTH)?

—“If Propertarianism is grounded solely on science and not religion, then on what basis is Man (with a great M) known?”—Josef Kalinin

Joseph : I can’t decompose that question. Man ‘is’, (exists as) that which he has demonstrated by his history. the stories (sedations) we tell ourselves at any point in history, merely serve to ameliorate our instincts (largely status) in relation to our resources (physical, emotional, mental) budges, and existential resources in all their forms – from physical things to relationships to knowledge. So are you asking “What is man?”, or “What methods of sedation (self medication) has man used through history?” Propertarianism ‘accounts for’ (takes account of): Math, Logic, Science (Physics-Chemistry-Biology, Psychology, Law, Economics, History, Literature, Philosophy, Religion, The Occult, the Fictionalisms, and Methods of Deceit. What it most takes account of, and no others do, is the transition of our understanding, knowledge and instrumentation from human scale to pre (supra/below) and post (super/above) human scale. And as such at humans scale (Morality, Instructions, arithmetic(construction),confirmation) we speak in justifications (Via-Positivas) because we can directly apprehend such constant relations, where at below and above human scale (Law, Science, Mathematics(deduction), Falsification) we speak in falsifications (Via-Negativas) because we cannot directly perceive those constant relations with our senses. The world wars (Anglo/Balance and Russian/Expansion Screw Ups) interrupted the darwinian-mengerian-specerian-maxwellian-poincarian-nietzschiean-romanticist revolution. And the 20th century in social science was lost, as the cult-of-dysgenic-socialism found itself in a christ figure versus a darwinian evil of eugenic-national-socialism, which allowed the suppression of the second scientific revolution (in germany). But beginning in the 1990’s science has (slowly) rescued us such that without immigration we would have corrected the problem already.

  • PROPERTARIANISM IS A BIT LIKE STUDYING FOR A STEM+L DEGREE. THAT’S WHY IT TAKES

https://propertarianism.com/basic-concepts/UNDERSTANDING PROPERTARIANISM IS A BIT LIKE STUDYING FOR A STEM+L DEGREE. THAT’S WHY IT TAKES TIME. IT’S NON-TRIVIAL.

—“I’m having a hard time understanding propertarianism tbh. I’m reading your articles on the website but still….what should I do?:— Ayham Nedal

Our Reading List helps with general knowledge so that you can tell we know what we’re talking about. Propertarianism consists of a broad set of concepts that produce a logic and science of social science in all its uses. We draw terms and ideas from math to logic to philosophy to law to economics to the sciences. And it’s because we do so, that we were able to UNITE THE SCIENCES into a SINGLE LANGUAGE consistent across all of them, thereby eliminating the silos, and allowing us to identify the falsehoods or imprecisions in each of them.

So we include books on every major subject in social science.

The Introductions to Propertarianism are very helpful. They are:

    The CONCEPTS:

    1) https://propertarianism.com/basic-concepts/

(Which I should fill out a bit more if I get some time)

    AND

    THE CORE

    2) https://propertarianism.com/2016/01/05/an-overview-of-propertarianism-for-serious-newbies/

Libertarianism (Mises, Hayek, Haslitt, Rothbard, Hoppe), tried very hard to unite social science, economics, law, and politics but they were not successful. However, if you understand libertarianism, Ely Harman’s introduction is very helpful in helping with the transition.

We probably should write a transition document for the Dark Enlightenment folk (Moldbug), and for Classical Liberals, and for Fascists. But we have only so much time….

    HISTORY

The cycles of history, and the competition between the Western (Science/Law), Asian (military/political), and Semitic (Religion,Mythology), is something almost anyone can understand. The secret to the west is easy to understand (computational velocity by sovereignty, reciprocity, natural law, markets in everything)..

    MANKIND

The Acquisitionism (psychology), Propertarianism (ethics), and the Class System, and Perfect Government, are not difficult. but require learning some precise terms. This is harder than it should be in my opinion and I don’t know why it’s difficult. It’s just training yourself to categorize by property rather than moral norms.

    LOGIC

Testimonialism (grammars, logic, scientific speech, and the geometry of meaning) is extremely challenging if you do not have experience in philosophy of science, math, and logic. and writing arguments in natural law (balanced transactions) takes quite a bit of practice. This is hard. But, it’s the entire basis of the program. Because it is the completion of the scientifc method that’s based upon testimonialism, and our ability to suppress fraud and deceit in the commons (political speech) is dependent upon encoding Testimonialism (a checklist of due diligences) into the law.

    IT’S BIG

This is a bigger scope of work than Marxism. So we cover the entire spectrum of metaphysics, psychology, testimony (truth), ethics, sociology, politics, law, group evolutionary strategy, and war.

Lastly, just ASK US. if I don’t answer, someone else will.

We KNOW that we have to make a course for it. The course outline is already on the site. But without the book(s) it is not going to be easily taught. So everyone (me included) is waiting on me to finish – and it’s killing me…. lol.

  • More on The Fraud of Tolerance and The Payment of Forbearance

October 20th, 2018 11:49 AM MORE ON THE FRAUD OF TOLERANCE AND THE PAYMENT OF FORBEARANCE

—“The centre holds onto tolerance because tolerance is passive. Those lacking agency can participate in tolerance while ignoring limits, because they don’t have the agency to enforce limits, and by ignoring limits they can stay in denial of their lack of agency. Forbearance includes tolerance AND limits (until the cost one was willing carried has been exceeded), AND active participation – its a choice which one can boycott/defect based on the cost carried.” —- @[655376421:2048:Bill Joslin]

    FORBEARANCE

—-“I use Tolerance to mean allowing costs to be assessed against non-consenting parties as ambiguity makes it unclear what additional party is specifically responsible for costs. It is a passive state. No agency. …. I use Forbearance to mean I intentionally take responsibility for the cost to allow someone else not to (ex. my children, my disabled kin, my employee that has not matured fully yet). It is an active state. Allows agency.”— @[1013719133:2048:Luke Weinhagen]

CD: This is great line of original thinking. I don’t know where it’s coming from but it’s an example of how we are all increasing precision and measurement. (thanks to Brandon Hayes for looping me in)

  • ART? MATTERS OF TASTE? OR MATTERS OF EDUCATION AND SKILL? Taste is a consequence

ART? MATTERS OF TASTE? OR MATTERS OF EDUCATION AND SKILL?

Taste is a consequence of ability, bias, knowledge, and skill. Some people have bad taste. Some classes have bad taste. Some cultures have bad taste. It’s not a matter of opinion.

So just as MORAL intuitions vary due to genetics, gender, class, culture, and education, TASTE intuitions vary due to the same. They are both intuitionistic responses. But all intuitions can be trained with the limits of one’s abilities.

Color blindness, tone deafness, face-blindness, weak pattern recognition, and general inability to learn by observation do influence you.

Familiarity with and associations between patterns and symbols and recognition of the difference between content/value/narrative, fashion/style, movement/period, and technique/materials will anchor you in your traditional frames.

However, it is possible to learn to understand all of them and distinguish between them, and separate premium, good, weak, and bad examples.

The principle weakness in developing taste is composition (sets) vs objects (items). One can collect similar items, or one can make a composition consisting of items. Most people capable of learning can be trained to produce compositions instead of selecting (impulsive) items.

For example, we can appreciate Fletes Cruz, a Botero and a Wei, just as easily as a monet and degas, just as easily as a Rubens and Durer, and to recognize the vast difference between Rodin and Michelangelo and nearly every other sculptor that ever lived. Or the self made prisons that Giacometti’s and Picasso’s styles made for them.

Once you look at works, and tie them to periods, movements, and the economic and political environments you can see the arts as just another technological reflection of the period, and enjoy all of it.

I can be just as happy in colonial, edwardian, victorian, craftsman, and mid century modern, and I prefer the romantics but in my hope I would hang a Rothko, and modern.

The problem is, ‘what is your favorite’ is the absolute WORST question you can ask someone, and it is the worst way to develop taste. Instead, compositions can be beautiful or not. Preferable or not. And preferable for intended purpose or not.

Bad work is very easy to identify because of craftsmanship and design. But bad style and content requires understanding context.

    Cheers

  • Hmm… A relationship column I can do.

    October 19th, 2018 5:28 PM

—“I’d pay good money to read your sex column.”— Kevin Wu

[I] don’t think so. A relationship column I can do. Sex I don’t think I’m anything special at all, or any one to listen to, other than I know how to talk about it, and I’ve had a bunch of relationships. I have friends who go through model-quality-women like snowplows on the highway in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. That’s not me. I like fit nerdy girls and I’m monogamous by nature and preference. 😉 I was raised in the “joy of sex” generation of get high and relax through it all – which like everything else in the sixties and seventies was nonsense. Had to learn the hard way. Everything you need to understand about sex can be encapsulated in one quote from one woman of outsized experience: “The dumb, young, athletic ones are better because they think less, follow instinct more and are closer to gorillas – they get the job done. Everything else is romance, and build up.” Feel your way thru sex using your entire sensory system and hers – don’t think it. That’s what they do. Women are not projects, objects, or prey. They are partners in family, and friends with benefits. You win them indirectly by being valuable and interesting, and making them feel safe to ‘feel’. Play a sport no matter how stupid to keep fit, keep some man friends either recreational or business, and make sure her friends are jealous of how you take care of her. Be a Prince to her friends, a gentleman with her, and a gorilla in the bedroom, and finish her first. The first time you score, exhaust her completely. That’s it. The rest is being friends. Don’t try to understand women. They aren’t men. Just love them. Say no to what you need to. Don’t disagree on preference or good, just can or cannot, will and will not. And when they treat you like a girlfriend rather than a man then come down hard on that limit. Listen and say you understand. Learn to half-listen. Dont judge. Ask a few questions when you don’t undrestand. Support her ambitions. Respect her within the limits you set. Do stuff together. Friendships are built and maintained through shared experiences. Do things with other couples to keep from making it tedious. Do stuff apart from each other so you have things to talk about. Do not get into debt or too many hours of work, or too much stress that you can’t do all of the above comfortably. Don’t get too much house or more kids than the two of you can manage. Live and work near family so that grandparents share in the kids. I could afford a 40K year child/nanny expense. Most people can’t. Grandparents are worth about that much income. My ‘thing’ is to learn what makes them look good and buy clothes for them. Other guys its doing stuff for them. This tells them constantly that she is on your mind. My wife and I talked at least once a day from the office if not more. It’s not complicated. That said, I still failed. I would have been fine and still married to that amazing woman, but two bouts of cancer and the illness between them and the contraction of the market while having a child I wasn’t ready for, just were too much for me. I’m only freaking human. We live and learn.

  • Religions Whether Occult or Secular Sell Fake Status

October 19th, 2018 2:00 PM RELIGIONS WHETHER OCCULT OR SECULAR SELL FAKE STATUS by John Mark [R]eligion sells fake status just as leftism sells fake status. Religion sells artificial good feelings – a method of lying to oneself as a method of dealing with the harshness of life – just as leftism does. NPCs seem to need these lies, or an alternative that provides them the same service: “You don’t have to think, you can feel good/more secure/optimistic about yourself and about life even if you have no reason to, and you can feel like life has a grand meaning even if it is false.” The only alternative we can offer them is a “religion” (rituals/training/symbolic reminders) of stoicism/ancestor “worship” (admiration/thanks), which requires being honest with oneself, and a fairly secure place in our pack if they can add some value and not advocate for theft. As far as I can tell, far less than half the world’s population is capable of that. Some NPCs may be able to live under our system, and we can do their thinking for them, if they can resist the urge to lie and rebel against the truth. But I am doubtful most people can handle it. Thus we must separate from those who cannot do it, and transcend apart from them, embracing our role as the world’s master class/race (including the minority of non-whites with the agency to join us) as we have been for centuries. Our attempt to lift up the world’s teeming masses by letting them immigrate and live under our law, or invading them and imposing the superficial structure of our laws, has failed. Because they are not like us. We are a minority on earth, and our strategy must reflect that. We can benefit them via our advancements, from across a high wall, and provide them with help to transcend as they request it respectfully, from across a high wall. Separate. Transcend.
