—“CURT NEEDS TO READ [INSERT NOVELS, ESSAYS HERE].”—

Sci Fi? I read Herbert (Both Dune, and the White Plague – which I bet you haven’t) and Heinlein, and Clarke, and Asimov, and Bova and Ellison, and Bear, Anderson, and Pohl, and NIven, and Lem and Crichton, and Lem, and Forward, and Weber, and Saberhagen, and Steakley, and le Guin and Moorcock, and Lieber, Ballard and del Ray, and Stephenson and Sterling and and Gibson and Dick, and the Anthologies, and subscribed to Galaxy, and Isaac Asimov’s Science FIction, and Creepy, Eerie, Epic, 1984, Heavy Metal Magazines, and everything in the Splatterpunk Movement, saw 2001, silent running, star wars, alien, aliens, blade runner and dune in the theaters on first run. And I played the (and wrote) the first generations of video console games, computer games, and had a Z80, a commodore 64/128, a tandy color computer (still my favorite), a heavy-to-carry compaq portable computer, an IBM PC (Original). I played Wizardry when it came out, the Bard’s Tale, Doom, Quake, Unreal, and Counter-Strike. I didn’t even touch Horror and Mystery, or Military FIction, or Spy novels in that list. I also read pretty much everything in the top 100 books of literature, the majority of the Great Books Series, (in hardcover), every encyclopedia (Britannica is best), Roget’s thesaurus, multiple dictionaries, history, science, most everything ever written in and on artificial intelligence, software design, programming, and only began to look at philosophy through the philosophy of science (popper and kuhn) which led me to Hayek, and economics, and that combination was ‘the key’ to my understanding ‘what had gone wrong’ in intellectual history during the 20th century. I only read philosophy to falsify it. My Recommended Reading List contains books and papers I have read. But only a FRACTION of them. Even today I sift through volumes of information (Mostly papers) and the odd book (almost all books in the sciences are as predictable now, as are books of fiction), as well as produce thousands of words of output myself. I process information. Yeah. I’m THAT GUY with six books under his arm, reading at every possible moment, that thinks every other person is a fucking moron, and barely domesticated (dangerous) animal (zombie, or what we call an NPC now), and that teachers and professors largely fill the function of keeping them in a corral we call the class room, and few are worth the air they breathe. The difference is I was in fights on a regular basis, back when things were ‘what boys do’ – particularly in farm towns. I am, to my knowledge, other than what I learned in art theory, self educated – entirely. School, university, library, bookstore, and the internet are simply nice places to consume information without worrying about the peasantry doing something too stupid. Unfortunately, the optimum means of protecting yourself from Zombies is to run a business, accumulate capital and revenue streams, and surround yourself with humans. This is the problem for my ‘kin’. They are not allowed to create voluntary disassociation to protect themselves from the zombies. and so unless they can earn enough money to do so they are exposed to the zombies and cannot create safe spaces we call ‘neighborhoods’ and ‘civil society’.

SUN TZU’S ART OF WAR A WORK OF AGENCY

    (worth repeating)

There is only one book in world literature that is an equal to the western canon, and that is the art of war – although the european works of Machiavelli, are more advanced, the universal applicability of the first of all does it best.

It is an essay in the amoral (not immoral). We spend so much time in moral mind, we leave ourselves open to defeat. So,he retrains us to think objectively rather than morally. It is not a book about war. It is a book by which we restore agency, lost in the training of our norms.

Machiavelli provides the same advice more directly in The Prince and his Art of War: morality has no place in war or its preparation.

The norms ‘untrain us’ to succeed in war. Hece all men must be trained in both war of the amoral, and commerce and cooperation of the moral.

(Said this sometime in the past few days and thought it needed repeating that these books are not on war. They are on restoring that which we are untrained in civil orders, and must be if we are to survive competitors.)

  • GEOGRAPHY FORESTLANDS: Aristocratic Ethics: What will someone not retaliate agai

    GEOGRAPHY

FORESTLANDS: Aristocratic Ethics: What will someone not retaliate against even if we agree to it?(rulers/teleological ethics:outcomes) The ethics of warriors who must hold territory. This is a very high cost strategy because while professional warrior aristocracy is militarily superior, smaller numbers mean threats must be constantly suppressed when small, as soon as identified. (Profiting from the domestication of man)

    – BORDERLANDS: Cosmopolitan(Jewish) Ethics: What will someone consent to Regardless of future resentment and retaliation? (borderland/subculture/deontological ethics:rules) The ethics of diasporic, migrating traders, or herding peoples who can prey upon the locals who hold territory. This is a very low cost (parasitic) ethics that avoids all contribution to the host commons, but requires preserving the ability to exit (migrate). It is the raider strategy by systemic and verbal rather than physical means.

    – STEPPELANDS: Russian(Orthodox) Ethics: What can I get away with now by negotiation and subterfuge, and hold by force later? (steppe raiders) The ethics of steppe people surrounded by competitors, always hostile and unpredictable. This is a difficult and expensive but only possible strategy, when one is surrounded by hostile opportunity seekers. While seemingly expansive, it’s actually a fearful one – aggression as the only possible means of controlling defensive positions across open territory.

    — FERTILE CRESCENT LAND: (Profit from the subjugation of man) (cyrus was lost).

    – RIVERLANDS: Chinese Ethics: What can I get away with now, but over time make impossible to change later? The ethics of long term ruling bureaucratic class. Sun Tzu strategy, and Confucian hyper familism. This is an exceptionally cost-effective strategy if one possesses a territorial resource (heartland), and can fortify that heartland. Riverlands strategy defends against Steppland and Desertland strategies. (Profiting from the domestication of man)

    – DESERTLANDS: Muslim Ethics: (I am still working on this one because I don’t get that it’s causal, but opportunistic.) What can I justify now in order to make this minor advance now? And thereby accumulate wins by wearing down opponents over long periods. The ethics of opportunism. As far as I can tell islam is just an excuse for justifying opportunism. We can consider this the combination of religion and justifying opportunism – a long term very successful strategy becuase it’s very low cost.

    – HOSTILELANDS: African Ethics (pre-christian). Africa is akin to the Desertlands because of the sheer number of competitors, the hostility of the disease gradient, the plethora of wildlife, combined with the primitiveness of the available technologies. This is the only possible strategy until one or more core states can evolve, and create sufficient stability in some regions. (this is occurring now).

    CIVILIZATIONS NOT STATES

It is a mistake (always), to consider conflicts within states over local power (capital allocation), as of the same consequence as conflicts between civilizations over borders. Because the former is a kinship conflict over priorities, while the latter is a genetic conflict over group evolutionary strategies.

  • The Church Past and Future: Ours.

[T]he Church was never in our people’s interest. Ever. It was invented like marxism to revolt against and end the rule by the aristocracy, and suppress western empiricism, philosophy and stoicism. It was imposed upon the west by the byzantines (Greeks, Anatolians, Syrians, and Jews) as a means of reversing the Roman conquest. Once rome fell the church prevented the aristocracy from recovering. During the Abrahamic Dark Age, the church merely preserved the monopoly on literacy and manufactured supernatural public ignorance as a means of creating high paying administrative jobs, from which every possible cent was extracted from the people. Once trade was restored by the Vikings (Slavid Trade), Holy Roman Empire of the Germans (north south), and the Saxons and their Hanseatic League (continental), the people were able to overcome their submission. Once literacy expanded we resisted the church and created protestantism – if for no other reason than to keep our wealth near our homes. Once commerce expanded, we revolted against the church and put the 50% of dead capital in europe back to work, generating our great leap forward, and conquest of the world. Once scientific knowledge expanded we revolted against her deceits – superstitions and lies which made possible her accumulation of capital, administrative jobs, predation upon the people. But before we could restore our religion and culture under the German’s Second Scientific Revolution, the Russians and the British allied against the Germans to prevent their expansion and caused the long European Civil War (ww1 and 2), destroying the Germanic foundations of western civilization. And this left open the window for the Socialists (french and german), the Marxists ( jewish, and russian), and the then finally the Postmodernists (french) and the feminists (Americans). Only now to we save ourselves from these barbarians and their false promises of utopia after death, or utopia after revolution and replacement of white males. No man is a hero to his debtors. We must rule. If only out of self defense. There is but one natural religion for those of us who have ancestors to whom we owe debts: Ethnocentrism; Nationalism; Nature, Ancestor, and Monarchical Thanks (religion), and the inheritance that they have left us as Sovereignty, Reciprocity, Truth, Duty, Merit, The Natural Law, A Jury of our Peers, The Militia of Sovereign Men, Markets In everything, and the science and technology that has provided in the present, what Those Who Lie had promised them. No More Lies. Restore Our Natural Law, and Our Natural Religion, to our Natural Peoples.

  • Are You a Man? or Will You Ever Be?

[R]eligion, Demand for Military Service (militia), and the demand to speak the Truth, quite predictably, are the three subjects that people resist the most – and flee from my work the most. The first (religion) requires you to retrain your emotions, which is costly, and the second (warfare) requires you end larping and put skin in the game, which is even more costly, the third (truth) forces you to confront your self worth, and your means of negotiating for your wants and needs – a lower cost, but one we resist bearing. Most men transcend the adolescent the moment they must manage either family of any size, or others in any size in either commerce or war. (Not in bureaucracy, but only in commerce, and war. Bureaucracy only maintains the illusion of merit, which is why women dominate political bureaucracy and men dominate commercial management ). Whereas in the past, most of us participated in the market as labor or farmers, a declining number of people both in government, academy, school systems, the medical business, charities, and large enterprises, are no longer participating in the market, and no longer forced out of adolescence into adulthood (manhood). YOU CAN’T HAVE PERSISTENCE ON THE CHEAP. You will either pay the cognitive, emotional, and physical costs of saving your people – or you will not, and they will perish. So leave adolescence behind. Become a man, Pay the costs of the intellectual (natural law), emotional (ethnocentrism), and physical (warfare) or look in the mirror and have the intellectual emotional honesty to say “I am not yet a man, and I never will be, and my people past present and future will pay the price for my cowardice.”

  • No More Lies.

[I] don’t care about your false god, the lies of his priests and prophets, our your addiction to all of the above. I care about my people. That long line that has come before me, those that are present with me, and those that are yet to be. Ethnocentrism; Nationalism; Nature, Ancestor, and Monarchical Thanks (worship), and the inheritance that they have left us as Sovereignty, Reciprocity, Truth, Duty, Merit, The Natural Law, A Jury of our Peers, The Militia of Sovereign Men, Markets In everything, and the science and technology that has provided in the present, what Those Who Lie had promised them. No More Lies. Restore Our Natural Law, and Our Natural Religion, to our Natural Peoples.

  • Religion always manages the women, the children, and men until they have ‘skin i

Religion always manages the women, the children, and men until they have ‘skin in the game’ and ‘responsibility over others’. So religiosity decreases with pareto increases. I would be more religious if I were a laboring class guy. I’m not I’m a 1%er in almost every way possible.

@curtdoolittle I agree but 100y is a short time span. Religion is nessisary due to IQ spread. A 150+ person like you can really only lead 130+ people, but religion sidesteps this. It can contain different truths at different levels of analysis, while binding everyone together.

true religion turns out to have been a cancer for our people and we escaped it. We did not however rstore our natural religion (yet) despite numerous attempts. Doesnt’ mean it can’t be. We have come very close at least three times.

@curtdoolittle The left-prog-faith is to true religion as a parachute is to an airplane. It is inherently devolutionary in nature. It can only turn this way or that, but never can climb to new levels of civilization.

  • “How can I learn to communicate like you do? One cannot effectively communicate

—“How can I learn to communicate like you do? One cannot effectively communicate what is inside without the proper language or outlet to express those things.”— A Friend

I would have to understand you a bit better to know how to answer that. But yes, Propertarianism makes it possible to speak what is in your mind in scientific terms.

I think understanding what I teach requires a great deal of knowledge that unfortunately, we are INTENTIONALLY not taught.

I suppose that when I offer my class this january, that you can join that and I can help teach it to you.

There are a couple of problems learning.

    1) learning to think ‘via-negativa’ (in what will make this false) is much harder than how we think today in the ‘via positiva’.

    2) learning to describe everything in economic and commercial terms is also somewhat difficult

Because doing both of those requires re-training our ‘intuition’ so that you leave behind the supernatural, and moral ages, and speak in scientific terms of the scientific age.

Then learning WHY that is true, requires learning ‘the grammars of speech’ which i don’t think is TOO hard, and then learning testimonialism (the grammar of falsification).

It’s basically like learning a law degree. But the difference is, that ‘once you see the world this way’ it will all fit together and much more of it will be clear to you.

At that point you will be able to ‘speak what is in your mind’ because you will have the vocabulary for it.
