    REASONS FOR INTERVENTIONS (‘bombings’)
    The reason for US/NATO interventions is consistent and self-evident, and reflects US/UK postwar policy to prevent another world war, by forcing peaceful negotiations and preventing criminal governments from violating the human rights of citizens or their neighbors. If you think they aren’t consistent and in pursuit of this policy, then google is your friend.

    1) Yugoslavia: Yugoslavia’s bloodshed and ethnic cleansing of Albanians.
    2) Libya: Govt crimes against humanity (arab spring)
    3) Syria: Syrian civil war, and to Counter Iranian influence, and sponsorship of expansion of ISIS/ISIL (arab spring)
    4) Afghanistan: dismantle al-Qaeda, deny a safe base of operations, by removing the Taliban.

    US Experience:
    (a) It is impossible to modernize Muslim countries. They must ‘get there on their own’. This mostly happening with the internet’s internationalization of information instead of with American policy.
    (b) This experience, of trying to modernize the world, and has raised mankind out of poverty, was successful. But when combined with European free-riding on Anglo-American militaries, is what caused the American decision to revert to relative isolationism.
    (c) And this pivot and return to relative isolation in turn fed the desire for Iranian, Russian, and Chinese military expansionism. (A little from Turkey too. But more will follow as US/NATO withdraws from world policing)
    (d) Ergo, the USA/NATO are in the position of having to re-militarize “The family of Advanced Countries (East Asian, Australia/NZ, US, and European allies) who had assumed the post cold war peace dividend was permanent, and that the US/UK strategy of creating peace thru world free trade had been successful.
    (e) So that the east Asians (Taiwan, South Korea, Japan) are capable of self-defense and Europeans are capable of self-defense against china, and the arab states and Israel are capable of self-defense against Iran.
    (f) There are only so many despotic imperialistic and predatory governments remaining (China, Russia, Iran, NK) that are capable of power projection. (Africa is its own cauldron and I won’t address it here.)

    The left is now going to go after social media, under the auspices that the current division and conflict is caused by exposure to social media content, rather than that the left has been successful in infantilizing the population, destroying the institutions of marriage, family, civil society, spiritual society, the common law, commonality, concurrency, and natural foundations of our law, the constitution, the academy, the media, entertainment, the history of man’s struggle to achieve reason and science to escape ignorance poverty and disease, and most importantly darwin’s explanation for the universe, as well as the problems of mankind.

    Social media is only a problem because of the ‘Snowflake’ and ‘Diversity’ and ‘Anti-western civilization’ policies of the left’s war against adulthood, truth, and responsibility and the behavioral costs of prosperity.

    Western civ is the closest to the laws of the universe – and this means there is a hierarchy of quality, utility, and morality to every aspect of human existence.

    Western civ maximized individual freedom and responsibility and successfully limited the harm to be done by those unable and unwilling to carry the burdens of responsibility and freedom.

    We are seeing the long tradition of modernization that replaces involuntary empires with voluntary nation-states allied federations, produce the dying gasps of the last three decadent civilizations: the Muslims, the Chinese, and the Russians – all three who are still clinging to their evil, corrupt, decadent, archaic agrarian age empires, Each, like poor France, wishing it was once again in glory by the defeat of neighbors.

    If we do have world war three, it will just be the completion of world wars 1 and 2 – the death of empires. The birth of new nation states.     You blame Europeans for doing the best for mankind across all of history, for doing it poorly. Compared to not doing it at all and continuing in their ignorance and poverty. Yet you desire the results of the Europeans. And your people flee to be with Europeans whenever possible.

    The Chinese were as warlike as europeans when they were progressing. The stopped their wars, and stagnated, and fell behind.

    The Indians were insufficiently warlike, and were conquered by every band of ruffians who passed by.

    The Muslims never cease conquering one another. And after 800ad, began their year after year of decay. One tribe defeats the next who became decadent, defeating the next who becomes decadent and so on. Until when modernity arrived they could not adapt to it, and the only reason for their prosperity, the Silk Road, was ended by the European age of sail, railroad, truck, and airplane.

    AI MADNESS. 😉
    When I was a child and imagined that if I had the three proverbial wishes, that the first thing I’d wish for, was to know everything in every book in the library. (I’m a nerd. What can I say.)

    Now, oddly enough, it turns out that we should run out of text to use to train AIs this year. In other words, they’ll know everything in the library. Not just the library. The entire planet’s libraries, databases, and collections. (Or at least the entire planet of curated information. God knows we don’t need to teach it the content of Hollywood gossip rags.)

    And we should shortly see AIs that can search and contextualize video letting us use text to find just that moment or clip in videos.

    I remember reading Adler’s work illustrating that there are really only about 1500 concepts. And that we can communicate effectively with as few as 300 words.

    Any student of enough disciplines learns over his lifetime, that not only are plots regurgitated every generation, but the same ideas are regurgitated every generation. With precious few added in any generation. In this sense, the theory of gravity has been increasing in precision more so than being falsified. And this same principle applies to nearly everything in human experience over time.

    In the course of my work, I came to understand that there is just one concept upon which the entire universe is constructed (evolved). And that there are about twenty principles derived from that explain all of human existence. … That knowledge was somehow humbling. We really are that simple.

    One thing I know that we are going to learn, that will frustrate and please Nassim Taleb, is the amount of information necessary to make a connection, and how it increases with ‘distance’. And that will create a new unit of measurement that will tell us things we’ve wanted to know – but don’t understand that’s what we need to know to know them.

    But will an AI discover those twenty principles as I have? Or what else might it discover if instead of a question and answer, it sought to ponder what questions HAD NOT BEEN, AND WERE NOT BEING ASKED?

    Now that’s interesting.

    The USA is policing world trade for the benefit of all civilized peoples. And in doing so raised the world out of poverty – and we paid for it. All of it. Ourselves.

    Our goal was to prevent another world war. The postwar agreement between the powers was that we would limit countries to their borders, and demand they focus on human rights, their economies, and joining the civilized world in prosperity.

    It largely worked. But there are always bad actors.
    But we have decided that its fruitless. So that the world must return to 19th century trade, and that the developing world will descend into relative poverty and starvation, and be victims of the remaining totalitarians. Our only goal now is to repatriate industry to north America, and to increase the security of our Kin in Europe, and allies in east asia. And then protect our allies until our withdrawal has been achieved.

    This is what America First Means. We will no longer police the world, and be blamed for policing the world. Instead, we can return to the conflict of civilizations, the war over trade routes between empires, and end the ‘free trade’ that the Europeans have spent four hundred years bringing into existence.

    You’re going to get what you want.
    But you’re getting what comes as a consequence of what you want as well.
    And those of us who understand these things are perfectly happy to observe that those who are ignorant of history are the victims of the cycles of history.

    I’m perfectly happy to watch the ungrateful burn.

    MOST PSYCHOLOGISTS ARE TERRIBLE – BUT:
    For my money a few of the ‘relationship craftspeople’ are far better than most couple’s therapists. (Sarah Dawn Moore esp).

    I’ve started listening to some credential psychologists on YT who are trying to help people with dating and relationships recently. And there is something maybe good, and something a bit off and maybe bad, and I can’t quite disambiguate what that is. I think it’s the analogies they use when I’d expect ordinary incentives. That might be because education level (or intelligence) determines the frame in which you can be influenced by a psychologist’s means of suggestion. So maybe some of these people are used to talking to children and they’re just doing a terrible job talking to adults

    CAUSALITY IS OBVIOUS
    The economics of relationships are now asymmetric for the first time since the beginning of the agrarian expansion and the necessity of territory and assets for inheritance: women can play the androgynous role of social female, mother, economic worker, political taxpayer, which suppresses her femininity, but femininity is the only ‘good’ women provide men with.

    Second, with the burden of taxation, education, and 30 year mortages, a two-parent family isn’t sufficiently advantageous for either party – unless one doesn’t HAVE to work, but works for the social satisfaction and security.

    So really, other than sex there is too little value (utility) in marriage for too many people. As such, we should expect to see a return to marriage, serial monogamy, and no-monogamy that roughly reflects class structure. And we do.

    And we should expect to see fertile attractive women sharing a small number of sexual relations increasingly as we decline in class. And we should expect marital rotation, and infrequent marital stability – which we do and will.

    So, the question is, how do we produce a happy healthy population in the absence of majority nuclear-to-traditional families, without the social economic and political consequences that occur every other time this has happened? (Collapse).

    My expectation is that the current sexual ‘market crash’ will somewhat correct , and more so as the end of the american world trade system ends over the next decade or two. But that the lower classes, maybe even much of the middle class, are lost.

    And this will exacerbate the sex, culture, and race warfare that’s been escalating since the industrial revolution began.

    I don’t counsel relationships any longer. But I when I did, I simply worked on ‘what is the truth that you aren’t telling one another’. If the truth is unbearable, then the relationship can’t stand. Most of the time, the truth does solve the problem one way or another.

    Yes, you would have been a nazi too. Yes, it was German national and Cultural Collctivism vs Jewish universal and Economic collectivism and both were anti-(anglo)-individualism. Naziism isn’t a marxist version of Socialism, or Rousseauian, but “better socialists than the other socialists”. More like the sectarian debate over who the real Christians are.

    And all factions felt this collectivism must be achieved through power. So the Nazis were Left Wing, not Right Wing. And Italians and Germans and french and such. all wanted their identities – to PRESERVE their CULTURE before the economy, rather than the communists who sought to DESTROY all CULTURES by putting economics first.

    So under the National Socialists, rather than workers of the world doing the same, each nation would serve the interests of their people differently.

    IMO the optimum – the best of the classical liberals, french socialists, and German-Italian national socialists – can be achieved through our constitutions and rule of law, but clarifying the law, and the constitution, so that cultures are preserved, economies are productive, without the authoritarianism – but instead by prohibiting cultural warfare against institutions, and prohibiting authoritarianism to bring it about.

    I’M A UNIVERSALIST (REALLY), I LOVE HUMANITY – AND ANGRY PEOPLE MAKE ME EXASPERATED.
    (my political position isn’t what you’d think.)

    I’m a conservative libertarian anglo in the classical liberal tradition. Somewhere close to Jefferson. But what does that mean? It doesn’t mean I hate anyone. I’m frustrated by plenty of people classes, groups, and races. I’m Exasperated. Tired. Saddened. But I don’t do hate. And I’m (perhaps foolishly) optimistic. Christian “love” worked on me.

    I advocate for universal ethnocentric nation-states because they produce the highest trust, lowest power distance, least internal adversity, and greatest tolerance for the production of commons and for redistribution. That’s why.

    I advocate for learning the vast differences in group capacity for high trust polities, rule of law, participatory government, markets, and continuous competition, innovation, adaptation, and evolution.
    I explain that western civilization is just ‘science’ for ancient reasons. Which is why the west invented ‘science’ as a thing – because we are scientific people in the first place.

    I explain that the cost of this scientific high trust polity – ‘whitness’ – is the most intellectually, emotionally, and psychologically and socially costly.

    But if any society chooses to pay those costs, the benefits of ‘whiteness’ will produce the same results as they do for westerners.

    Unfortunately, while my statements explain this science, and I intend them as a universal, there is a tendency to attract what we call ‘racists’ who are angry, rather than universalists who also understand that many small ethnocentric states that cooperate through trade externally, but produce the unique commons they need internally, make us all the best most peaceful most prosperous least alienated that we can possibly be.

    Does that mean I would prefer to live in a country that consisted entirely of fellow ethnically European, Scandinavian, secular protestants in a constitutional monarchy with a strong constitution of natural law, and participatory government?

    Of course it does.

    That doesn’t mean I don’t want everyone else to have what they want too. And that requires a lot of polities – not large empires.

    It was a doubling down on the feminine means of warfare, using the abrahamic means of undermining meritocracy, loyalty, hierarchy, aristocracy, reason, evidence, rule of law, and testimony.

    HOwever, communism was a sick disease even worse than the jewish-christian-muslim means by which the seven civlizations of the ancient world were reduced to ignorance and decay.

    SO while communism was a reaction – it was a sick, deceptive, and evil reaction, to anglo liberalism and french democratic socialism, and naziism was the correction to communism, restoring nationalism, and hierarchy, and loyalty, and meritocracy.

    So your argumetn presents af alse dichotomy between equals rather than a means of warfare against evil warfare.
