    I have had only one circumstance where I had to call the police because of an armed individual threatening me and my wife from outside our home. As soon as the police arrived I pulled the magazine, popped the chamber, and left the breach open on the table, and sat cross-legged on the floor. (The guy is a sociopath.)

    I’ve only pulled my weapon twice. Both times because of some freaking high idiot at night: once in Seattle, and once where I won’t mention.

    The cops are generally more scared than you are. They are almost always in novel circumstances.

    Rebel against revenue-raising police enforcement of cultural(normative), administrative and regulatory law at all times – raise the cost of enforcement as high as you can. But not against crimes of life and property. The fact that we have given police mal-incentives, is one thing. That doesn’t mean we rebel against them at all times. If we do, they don’t even have the opportunity to learn the difference between moral police action, and immoral police action.

    (Diary entry. Self analysis. It is interesting. Over the past 90 days, focusing entirely on our software product, my anxiety has risen to the point where I am almost unable to function. If I don’t write, it’s like a spring of stress is being wound inside of me. Philosophy – Propertarianism in particular – has allowed me to find perpetual purpose and release for my autistic demon. I can feed it an endless diet of problems, and bring them to resolution. Even if that problem is only one of simplifying the means of expression. So, I cannot function any longer without allocating time for my writing. Just as I cannot write without the social experience of business. I have to do both to be happy. I think these two activities tend to keep me ‘calm and ordered’ and without the autism taking control of me. )

    UNEXPECTED DESITINATIONS IN LIFE’S JOURNEY

    When I started out on my journey, I never anticipated that the end result would be that I would specialize in the technology of truth-telling. Given my passionate advocacy for deceit in war, I would have thought that I would end up doing just the opposite.

    Just as critical rationalists conduct a challenging battle against justification, I have to conduct a challenging battle against rationalism.

    I see where all of this evolves (assuming we do not have another dark age emerging) and by avoiding the error of linear extrapolation of trends, and instead, invoking the necessity of equilibrating forces, the result is artificial intelligence that is logical and humans that are rational. Either that or our march toward scientific language will continue apace, and we will need different humans than the ones we have today in order to speak that language.

    It is simply too hard for the masses to learn except by environmental immersion.
