  • Liberty? Let me help you…. Only if you Rule.

    You possess Liberty when you rule – else you have but permission. The purpose of rule is to prevent others from ruling – so that you possess Liberty in fact not permission. But this condition can only survive if you have numbers sufficient to deny competitors the ability to rule. But to work together in numbers we require means of cooperating and means of dispute resolution. But these means cannot allow for discretion or we would no longer possess Liberty. To solve this problem we cooperate using productive fully informed warrantied voluntary exchange. To resolve differences we use rule of natural, judge-discovered common law. So we create a condition of Liberty by creating a condition of sovereignty, by cooperating via fully informed warrantied productive voluntary exchange, and resolving disputes by natural judge discovered common law under which we demand contribution to their defense and restitution for offense. And punish, enslave, remove, or kill those who do attempt to create any condition other than Liberty.

    [Y]es, one can attempt to order the human world by constructing power to suit one’s imagination. Or you can deny the ordering of the world by power, so that only nature limits our construction of the world, not we. In my opinion, from the simple proposition that faster calculation will defeat slower calculation, and certainly defeat stagnation or regression, to deny power solves the problem of power. The rule of natural, common, judge discovered law of non-imposition of costs, denies that power. I don’t know what should be I only know what should not be. The market then can use the ‘can’ to calculate the ‘should’ that we cannot know.

    Hayek was right of course. He could have taken it even farther. But he was right.

    The answer to keynes(demand/spending) and hayek(disinformation/misallocation) is solved by credit cards from the treasury – assuming liquidity isn’t predictable. It needs to remain a lottery of uncertainty. The problem they were struggling with was distribution. The finacial system is a corrupt distributor, and the state spending is even worse.
