    Second strange male problem of the day.

    I know this is Ukraine. But FFS, this is a family hotel. And the damned waitresses here look like strippers. I mean, they have these enormous platform heels, bikinis with sequins, and this pretend-skirt-thing. And they also have ‘that look’: they’re thin but the skin hangs because they haven’t any muscle under it. Like they spent their 20 year lives sitting on bar stools smoking and getting nourishment from coffee.

    It’s freaking CREEPY. I am sitting in the bar where I get waited on by the men. Eek.

    Do you know that in London every restaurant and shop plays music so loud that you want to leave? And here in the ukraine they play this ukrainian pop that’s really all polka-beat dance music.

    Creepy. OK? It’s a 5 star hotel. But I don’t care how nice the hotel is. The music, the stripper-look-alikes and it’s just …. creepy. FFS.

    (Ok. I’m not gonna get more work done today apparently.)

    I am sitting here by the pool trying to work, and this woman keeps standing next to me using both hands to squeeze her breasts together to get the water out of her swimsuit top – and getting me wet.

    I dont mind the water. But every time she does it nine billion neurons in my brain fire a very primitive language and I forget what the heck I was thinking about.

    Sigh.

    I don’t have a eugenics project, I make the argument that at some point in your chain of reasoning you must have a means of making judgements between one set of preferences and another, and that the progressive preference is dysgenic. To warn against dysgenia is very different from conducting eugenia.

    I do not see the political reason for redistributing from the middle class to the lower class if this constructs dysgenia that inhibits the formation of the high trust society which is necessary for the standard of living that allows for redistribution. In other words, i’m making an argument against a logical fallacy. This might seem to you as if I am making a sentimental argument,b ecause you argue largely sentimentally. But I don’t. I might actually be largely incapable of it.

    Most of my arguments are in the general vein of pointing out the fallacy of the libertarian and classical liberal, and progressive canons that do not account for the problem of trust, intelligence, and impulsivity in the construction of a polity capable of constant innovation necessary to stay ahead of both the genetic red queen, the malthusian red queen, and the technological red queen, and how those three red queens must be defeated in order to preserve economic prosperity that allows us to have whatever nonsensical social order we choose.

    I suspect that this argument is not obvious to you and most others, but that is my fundamental argument and the insight I am trying to incorporate into political science, political economy, economics, and philosophical ethics.

    I love the fact that Ukrainian women seem to only own summer clothing that is effectively transparent. It’s… it’s like looking at a victoria’s secret fashion show all day long….. I can’t get ANY work done. But I”m so obliviously happy I don’t care.

    Most of the time, the fact that men are genetically predisposed to have our brains shut down at the sight of women is really frustrating. But other times it’s just fun to give into it and enjoy what nature has done.

    Talking with a male friend the other day. I said, you know, I get it. Right? We evolved as bands of brothers basically trying to play capture the flag, except we’re collecting women. And we just love it when we can sit around and drool over all the ‘loot’ we’ve collected.

    “Pairing Off” of utilitarian monogamy has somewhat tamed us. But the underlying impulses are still there. Those yummy feelings from watching the girls, even if we do nothing about it, just keeps us addicted to the cerebral drugs that tell us to collect and protect our women. Not just for us, but for our brothers and our tribe.

    Eh… yet another thing that I can’t decide is beautiful, ridiculous or humiliating. 🙂

    The universe seems to work a whole lot better when we bend it a bit but don’t fight it too much. And htis is one of those things that we can bend, but I”m not sure we should fight too hard. 🙂

    Men get rejected about a hundred times a day, and most of the time we aren’t even interested, but get rejected anyway. lol Women on the other hand, seem to be freaking overwhelmed when they get rejected. This is because when a man is rejected, WHAT the woman rejects is his status, and his genes, and his entertainment value and his caretaking ability. But his input into the sexual relationship is minimal. And the cost to him of that rejection is limited to the time he has currently invested. The cost to a woman is inverse of that. A lifetime of caretaking for a child, and some period of caretaking for the man. When a woman is rejected its saying that all that cost to you isn’t worth even this little cost to me.

    The problem for modern man, is that under the current legal system, you have to be as selective with the distribution of your genes as a woman is in selection of your genes. Our instincts don’t match this legally artificial circumstance. So a woman’s reaction needs to understand that because of the law, male rejection is now equal to female rejection: sex is extremely costly, and risky. Not so much for the lower classes who have little economic promise. But for middle and upper class males, a woman is absurdly expensive.

    Until we have a male pill. At that point women can’t entrap you. And having been the repeated victim of female entrapment, in no small part because I am cursed with ‘one shot guaranteed success of pregnancy’ I am highly sensitive to this problem.
