The opposing argument isn’t 22, it’s that it’s thru 25 or 26. Yet I can’t find evidence it’s meaningful and increasingly predictive at that point.

Bell Curve Differences Between Groups
The variation is tiny, with the only meaningful differences being tail effects. There is far more genetic load (defect) in the left tail of african populations, and far more advantage in the right tail of English Anglican, and double that in Ashekanazis. So that for every Anglican outlier there are twice as many Ashkenazi outliers.

Now test prep does help and asian test prep is legendary, with 30% of east asians prepping, and only 10% whites. Which reduces the white-asian SAT gap by about 1/3. But the gap still remains.
The reason is group differences in neoteny and cognitive dimorphism, which is a bit deep for this conversation.

I don’t always write a missive – my posts are long enough already.
In this case I’m referring to the anglo empirical revolution and their POV on the matter. Including those of us who remain, who still hold this POV.
Just as agrarianism exploded out of the levant and anatolia, just as the bronze age exploded out of Mesopotamia, just as the iron age exploded out of greece and rome, ust as the steel age exploded out of england… the ‘domestication of europe’ spread from England to the east, with the french the loudest, the germans the most effective, and the russians most resistant (and they still are).
