Much more complex. Sort of like how germany needed russian gas, and much of the world needs ukrainian grain. Except lower productivity much poorer economy and far more fragile interdependencies. But we have to think more in terms of the bronze age collapse, and how civilizations reorganized and reproduced evolutionary velocity after 800bc, very much like we have recovered from the dark ages after 1200ad.

As I’ve said to libertarians for a few decades now, much to their disapproval, war is just another business and political operation that is the ultimate form of entrepreneurship, and it is either profitable or not. If it’s profitable, it’s usually VERY profitable. If it’s not, then it’s usually very NOT profitable. 😉
It is very hard to make a case against conducting and winning a war. And yes, most beneficial reorganization and increase in investment occurs after wars, because *wars disrupt the existing set of networks of economic dependence* giving rise to new possible networks that would not have been possible without the opportunity for reorganization.
This comes of as ‘war is good’. When the answer is Machiavelli’s: war is a business like any other not moral question and moral questions must be left out of war whether defensive or offensive, lest you fail for having done so.

It’s the wrong method of educating children equally
It’s the teacher’s union that takes the money for low quality teachers at the cost of not educating our children.

35.8% Black (IQ 85) ….. 63%<90, 91%<105, 97%<115
46.7% Hispanic (IQ 89) 53%<90, 85%<105, 96%<115

And that’s assuming a normal distribution of each race in the school system, when in Chicago it’s likely biased to the lower end in every case. So while nationally these IQ numbers are correct, they are very likely worse in the Chicago school system, vs say, the Arlington VA school system.
SOLUTION
In other words, the kind of education people need in each race, at least outside of white and east asian, requires far more repetition, and probably far more of a game structure, with larger time in physical exercise, to achieve maximum results. And we know it’s possible, because we’ve seen group do it, when they are at least above the 90 threshold.
Different people and different groups need different education because of different neoteny, resulting rates of maturity, and genetic class (IQ).

Hmmm… I would say that software reduced capital costs to nothing but labor, and as such financing costs, organizing costs, and risks to just labor costs and risks, that can be born by the laborers alone.
Most capital production requires financing and organizing costs and risks, and laborers don’t share in that contribution or risk – thats why they’re paid whether profit or loss.. Whereas in software, in a startup, the labor (developers) do share in that investment and risk.
Software isn’t new. It’s just fairly easy to capture value in software vs writing a book.

Fewer Coders or More Code? 😉
AI code generation is the obvious mainstream direction in the industry, and it’s so obvious because so much code is boilerplate transformation of data from one source to another with minor application of rules and manipulations. I mean, there are only so many language models, only so many data sources, only so many design patterns, and only so many code problems. And that’s why coding gets boring over the lifetime of your career. You rewrite the same nonsense with differen syntax over and over.
Seriously. I just can’t figure out if half the coders are going to disappear or the volume of software is going to double. 😉
