  • The Transaction Cost Theory of Government

PROPERTARIANISM: THE TRANSACTION COST THEORY OF GOVERNMENT
    (second draft) (closer)

[H]istory says only that the development of a state – a monopoly bureaucracy – transfers high local transaction costs without central rents, to state rents and low transaction cost. Libertarians nearly universally ignore the evidence of universal transaction costs and free riding at the local level.

And they further ignore the demonstrated necessity using organized violence by a monopoly organization to suppress those transaction costs and free ridings (“local rents”), and to convert them into central rents in order to pay for such suppression.

The counter-argument is that states are in fact a neutral cost, and that we don’t spend enough on them in the suppression of transaction costs, because states provide multiples of return on that suppression. This is also demonstrable.

The question isn’t how we can do without the state (a corporation articulated as a monopoly definition of property rights ), but now that we have suppressed local transaction costs, and replaced them with centralized rents in order to produce the commons we call property rights – how do we suppress centralized rents while maintaining the suppression of transaction costs, and the ability to construct commons that such suppression of transaction costs and rents allows us to construct?

To argue that a monopoly definition of property rights is somehow “bad”, is irrational since property, obtained by homesteading and by voluntarily exchange, under the requirements for productivity, warranty and symmetry, is as far as I know, as logically consistent and exception-less as are mathematical operations on natural numbers. So the imposition of property rights cannot be illogical, immoral, unethical no matter how they are imposed since they define that which is logical, ethical and moral.

There is nothing wrong whatsoever with violence – in fact, it is violence with which we pay for property rights and liberty – it is our first, most important resource in the construction of liberty. Instead, the question is purely institutional: having used violence to centralize transaction costs into rents, how do we now use violence to eliminate rents from the central organization?

This is pretty easy: Universal standing, Universal Property rights, and Organically constructed, Common Law, predicated upon the one law of property rights as positive articulation of the prohibition on and the suppression of involuntary transfers: the demand for fully informed, productive, warrantied, voluntary exchanges free of externality. Because it is only under fully informed, productive, voluntary transfer, warrantied and free of externality that cooperation is rational, rather than parasitic. And only under rational cooperation is forgoing one’s opportunity to use violence equally rational.

The question becomes then, who prohibits the formation of authority and this falls to the citizenry: the militia – those who possess violence.

As far as I know this is the correct analysis of political evolution, and the correct theory for future political action.

Using Hayekian Triangles for the Production of Moral Law?

Hell… since the production of means of suppression (law) is in fact, a production cycle, then, why should I just not represent innovation of free riding and the suppression of it by law as a supply demand curve satisfied by a production cycle – using Hayekian Triangles?

I need more time in my life.

    REPOSESS LIBERTY

    (humor)

I want to drive up to the house of congress with a fleet of tow trucks, walk in, and say I’m here to repossess my violence, because clearly they aren’t paying me my annual fee of liberty in exchange for it.

Oh. I don’t need the trucks really. Or to walk into the house of congress. That’s just a bit of poetic license. πŸ˜‰

I have my wealth of violence whenever I choose to employ it.

And to use it to construct liberty once again.

BLOOD SPILT FOR LIBERTY IS A BEAUTIFUL THING

    UNDERSTANDING CALIFORNIAN STATISM

California. A very desirable geography. The best other than France.

In both cases the geography is a natural resource exploitable by the state.

As I said to Ron Manners: natural resources make you a slave because States must defend them.

Diasporic peoples avoid these high costs at the expense of permanent insecurity.

The golden mean (happy median) is Liberty – prevention of the state while also holding land.

Only landed people create monuments and art.

Europe is a vast, open air museum.

Unfortunately, while fascism saved Europe from socialism and socialists, Keynes invented the next best thing: mixed economy; wherein we still control private property but not the proceeds from its use.

Evil genius at its best. It just takes longer. The frog doesn’t feel the pot boil.

“SELF OWNERSHIP IS FOR CHILDREN, THE WEAK, THE LAZY AND COWARDS”

Unfortunately you ‘aren’t’ anything other than a bag of mostly water, and rights only exist when they have been created by an act of promise or contract.

As such you may DEMAND, or WANT to be treated as the owner of your body, and therefore are seeking CUSTOMERS for your offer, and those customers will offer you the same deal in exchange – albeit with differing degrees of warranty. But until that point you ‘have’ no ‘right’. You cannot. It cannot be made to exist without the action of exchange.

So if you are willing to fight hard enough that you raise the cost of your subjugation to the point at which those who prefer to subjugate you prefer to engage in the reciprocal exchange of rights to self, life, mind, and body, then you may per-chance, obtain that property right in exchange for your offer of that property right.

But until you raise the cost of your subjugation such that it is more profitable to give you a right to your self, life, mind and body, it is absolutely demonstrable – empirically, logically demonstrable – that you do NOT in fact, possess such a right.

Nonsense appeals to ‘rights’ like nonsense appeals to pseudoscience are the modern equivalent religious comforts and promises of life after death. They are just nonsense appeals to make you feel comfortable as a slave with some hope of savior by technology, democracy, Arthur, Jesus, or God.

Nonsense is for children who fear monsters under the bed, those who need comfort on their death beds, slaves who much suffer without relief, and the lazy and cowardly who fear to act. Use of nonsense words means one is a child, lost to life, lazy or coward.

The only right you possess is the one you obtain in exchange. And that which you receive in exchange, like that which you obtain by homesteading, is only yours because you act to defend it with your life.

Wishes are free. Words are cheap. Actions are dear.

Freedom is purchased by strong arms and pointed weapons.

    Everything else is nonsense-words.

Leave the false prophecy of the Libertines behind. Come to Aristocracy. We know better: Violence and time are the only wealth you were born with. Spend them wisely.

    OBAMA-VOTER PUNCH-IN-THE-FACE

I mean, the whole random violence thing is pretty popular these days. So, why don’t we just start a trend of punching obama voters in the face? I mean, over here in the east, it’s pretty obvious that this guy is the worst thing to happen to the world since the previous professor ideologically imposed the versailles treaty.

The academy is a house of religion and has no place in world affairs.

  • OPPOSING VIEW – THE FORCED CHRISTIANIZATION of Rome was the GREATEST CRIME AGAIN

http://charltonteaching.blogspot.com/2014/12/what-made-christians-different-in-roman.html?m=1AN OPPOSING VIEW – THE FORCED CHRISTIANIZATION of Rome was the GREATEST CRIME AGAINST MAN IN HISTORY.

Christianity was practiced by perhaps five percent of the population until Justinian determined that by closing are stoic schools and imposing eastern tyrannical mysticism via the state he could exert eastern dominance levels of dominance over the empire.

The forced christianization of Rome is perhaps the greatest crime in human history. It is hardly something to be respected, appreciated or cherished, any more than stuffing people into ovens is to be cherished.

We only now understand by contrasting stoicism with Buddhism that we had invented not only science, reason, logic, mathematics and with Archimedes made possible an industrial revolution, but also we had invented the most important religion ever constructed by man.

There is nothing to celebrate other than our the miracle of our achievements in spite of this terrible crime against the west and perhaps all mankind – and our eventual escape from this horror.

As Hayek said, the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries will be remembered as a new age of mysticism conducted in pseudoscientific rather than mythological terms.

Democratic secular humanism justified by Keynesian Forcible redistribution, American Anglo neo Puritanism, and cosmopolitan pseudoscience are little more than a restatement of Christian authoritarianism – for the same purpose: to conquer and control.

  • The Court Is Required To Address All Thefts

[T]he manner of theft is immaterial. Either the court provides a means of remedy for a theft, or we are free to use violence to obtain remedy for the theft. The court does not grant what we may do. It holds provision only over those conflicts which it agrees to resolve via property rights.

    See Burke
β€”-β€œIn a state of nature, it is true, that a man of superior force may beat or rob me; but then it is true, that I am at full liberty to defend myself, or make reprisal by surprise or by cunning, or by any other way in which I may be superior to him.

But in political society [, outside of the state of nature], a rich man may rob me in another way. [And] I cannot defend myself; for money is the only weapon with which we are allowed to fight [in political society]. If I attempt to avenge myself, the whole force of that society is ready to complete my ruin.” -– Edmund Burke

Ergo, political society fails, and juridical society succeeds.
