    —“Identify the barriers and lift them. The problem is obvious but why is it like this? We need data on what these barriers are for the right. Is it the fact that they have to much to lose? Comfort? Security? Or cowardness?”—Bjorn Hocke

    The barriers to right activism are:

    1 – Boyhood: No intention to do anything, just find shallow dominance expression from the safety and anonymity of being online (these are undesirables);

    2 – Cowardice: (lots of Xian’s in this category);

    3 – Right Psychology (a) lower agreeableness (b) tendency to over-rely on self-judgment, (c) tendency to demand self-determination, need for control, need for understanding, need for certainty, need for leaders they understand. This leads to atomization and the near panic of ‘just show up and we’ll figure it out. The left ‘just shows up and figures it out. Because they are not concerned with status or hierarchy.

    3 – Relative Poverty such that they can’t show up because they’re already disenfranchised; living on marginal income so that they can’t afford the time off or away;

    4 – Responsibilities so that they can’t afford being away without serious consequences;

    5 – Consequence of doxxing by GSRRM that would hurt them their income or their families;

    6 – Wives or girlfriends that would leave them if they did;

    7 – and property that they have accumulated that they are unable or willing to expose to risk.

    The left is not burdend by these constraints. Why? The right manages vast commons and the left consumes them. This is the difference in our ‘wiring’. Male capitalization (pack territory and resources), female consumption (herd and offspring consumption before others beat them to it.)

    This is why only a mass movement will work and ‘resistance’ won’t. It’s because without certain reprisals for the left’s DOXX machine, the right afford to show up.

    Hence my strategy. Hence why everyone else’s is a lost cause.

    THERE IS NO CAVALRY COMING

    Yet another stalker who threatened to come “teach me a lesson” (visit violence upon me), was a no-show today. My understanding is that Facebook policy prohibits identifying these lunatics, or I’d share the photos and information. So far, one individual came from new jersey without saying would in advance, and created a little video of his escapade. And every other tough-talking man hasn’t shown. Like I said. Men show up. Pretend-men talk. And not-men talk sh-t about better men. The loser-right uses the internet as a video game – not purposefully, but because they’re insufficiently able to disambiguate fantasy from reality.

    Funny how many people came after me for saying (a) we’re going to have a civil war (b) we’re going to have an economic collapse ( c) they’re going to roughly coincide. (d) the state is not able to suppress insurrection on a national level without losing it’s legitimacy home and abroad. (e) the country’s infrastructure is the strategic vulnerability. (f) that the currency system is even more vulnerable than the grid (but I seem to be the only one that sees that weakness).

    The state has again, this spring, issued a report that the primary vulnerability is the grid, and that they aren’t able to secure it. That the military has no (magic) weaponry. That we still cannot handle even the most trivial of emergencies. That it’s not ‘powerful’ except in combined arms against other combined arms armies. That we can’t even supply our own military or medical any longer because the supply chain is lost. but it’s worse than that: there is no ability to militarily mobilize the people (outside of the south). (I published a The Choice episode on WHY demilitarization (feminization) of the polity has these strategic impacts on rapid response to threats. And that analysis was correct.)

    So, while the opportunity is there. I can’t see the left losing. Because they’re willing to fight. The right isn’t even willing to show up.

    And the stalkers are a symptom of a greater nonsense – the ‘middle-easterning’ of men’s words, and men.

    Before he was ‘disappeared’ I talked to a very frustrated Augustus who felt resigned that the right was, like little women, waiting for the men to save them. And they are waiting for each other in the greatest circle-j–k in human history.

    There is no cavalry. They were the aristocracy. And in our democratic vanity – in selling our virtues of egalitarianism, we ended them without understanding that those few people – those few hundred thousand people were what made our civilization possible.

    And while the rifle disempowered them as warriors, it did not disempower their tradition – until this century when we let the barbarians achieve what weapons could not.

    “Q: Is there a connection between capitalism and religiosity?”

    Great question.

    There is a relationship between the military, empiricism, rule of law, and markets that tend to favor capitalism since once you have those influence capitalism is all that one can do. That’s why Europeans invented empiricism, rule of law, markets testimony in all walks of life, and high trust: european civilization was, at least, among the aristocracy, an “army of everyone” for 5000 years. And moving up the status economic and political hierarchy meant integration into that set of values – so much so that we practiced it until 1918 without ever even writing it down as our ‘bible’ of western civilization.

    There is a relationship between empiricism and atheism – which is what you would expect. Whether you mean ‘capitalism’ in the ‘free trade’ regardless of local costs, or rule of law, which produces markets within the limits of local costs, determines your understanding of it. In other words, rule of law of reciprocity will produce a mixed economy. Weak (limited) rule of law with a capitalist bias will produce the bad effects of capitalism.

    There is a relationship between Christianity and building a large middle class so that one can have a modern, self-organizing economy that will function by incentives – which is the more general name of capitalism. This is why Christian countries tend to become wealthy and Islamic countries tend to become poorer and poorer. Christianity treats everyone as family and customer and treats customers as necessary to keep in order to stay in business. However, this behavior doesn’t require religiosity. Because post-theological peoples retain those ethics. It’s only been postwar immigrants from ‘less moral’ cultures that have undermined it.

    So like many ‘skills’ (arithmetic > math > geometry > calculus > analysis) or (grammar> logic > rhetoric )(physics > chemistry > biology > sentience) or (stories > novels > biographies > histories ) christian ethics appears to be a ‘stage’ through which groups must pass in order to develop an equal to high trust western civlization.

    Unfortunately, that very same Christianity and high trust creates a vulnerability because it normalizes trust to a degree that individuals polities, nations, and civilizations are vulnerable to false promises and seditious behavior, as we have seen over the past seventy years.

    GIVEN:

    Anarchism| < – Capitalism < -… Rule of Law … -> Socialism -> |Communism

    ………Individual Priority…………….Equilibrium……………..Group Priority…………….

    Non-Coercion…Private Corruption……………..Public Corruption… Coercion.

    AND GIVEN:

    Masculine Strategy: Capitalism requires adversarialism (market competition).

    Science, law, economics, war require costly personal responsibility for physicality.

    -Versus-

    Feminine Strategy: Communism requires submission (absence of competition)

    Religion, philosophy, public popularity, politics are cheap and the absence of physical (material) responsibility.

    Religiosity is determined by the following factors:

    EXPERIENCE

    1 – Familial, Social, Institutional indoctrination

    2 – Saturation of the environment with ‘falsehoods’ by social construction

    ENVIRONMENT

    3 – The Utility of Religiosity in the local social-political economic environment.

    4 – The Utility of Religion as an organization for political resistance or change.

    MINDFULNESS

    5 – Mindfulness(self): (a) sedating powerlessness in the world, (b) evading responsibility for the world, ( c) imaging false power in the world.

    6 – Mindfulness (others): (a) resisting influence of others, (b) common non-conflict protocol for interacting with others, ( c) method of expressing dominance against others.

    EMOTION

    7 – Empathic vs Analytic: personality trait : those people who have a higher intuition, want, or neeed, for a conflict-free (relatively) framework with others

    8 – Experiential(closed) vs Intellectual(openness): personality trait: those people for whom abiilty, desirability, and status find greater security in regularity than novelty whether mental, emotional, or social.

    (humor)

    When covid is over does that mean I can keep spending my days in loose oxford shirts and boxer shorts? I mean, if the gay fashion designers get to have their middle eastern saggy-pants, can’t the straight community return to our tradition of blousy medieval blousy shirts, short-pants, and kilts? I mean, the purpose of trousers is riding horses. Unless you ride a horse, bicycle, or motorcycle, trousers are unfortunately constraining. Sure. I mean, if you’re in the trades, blue jeans are affectively light armor. That’s a good thing. But I mean, we’re basically wearing British cavalry officer uniforms without the tails. But medieval wear is really just a continuation of the most comfortable clothing in the world. A Tunic, baggy breeches, a belt. 😉

    (real answer: loose clothing became a liability in the industrial age – as daily industrial accident videos from the muslim-dress world make rather obvious.)

    Current ai implementations is that with (extraordinarily tedious training) they correctly categorize and prediction, and can then hand off to programmatic logic to ‘reason’ further.

    Something like Go or Chess or Checkers, or even ‘training for image recognition’ is really not very complicated because the ‘world model’ for these programs is rather trivial, even ‘wayfinding’ through them is rather impressive.

    The GPT-3 algorithm is interesting because it is so vast, and so accurately maintains associative context. That context’s world view is nonsensical however. It’s just word-patterns.

    The hard problem – whch is where consciousness comes from – is constructing a world model, and predicting from that world model. Because humans (and anything that must reason like us) must have a ‘chessboard, go-board etc’ of the world, and the world is infinitely more cimplicated that those boards.

    Worse, whatever we model is open to continuous revision.

    It should not surprise us when the most sophisticated mathematics we discover,, that most accurately models the physical world, is analogous to bundles of fibers, when mathematics consists of positional names in a series. in other words, the imaginary number line is implied by the only property that number’s share: position in an order.

    —“I’ve never noticed physicists to be humbled, but I believe that the physical world has disciplined them to recognize that if they don’t wish to look foolish it’s best to learn to partition their questions so that they only ask the questions which are robust to the errors within any given theory.”–Eric Weinstein

    Agreed. So the question is why we don’t simply save all civilization by limiting speech to the public in matters public to that which is robust to errors within a given theory AND is reciprocal, testifiable, and within limits of restitutability?

    I mean, that’s what P-Law does right? It criminalizes indiscipline, false promise, baiting into hazard, undermining, sedition and TREASON against the natural law, testimony according to that law, and the european tradition of building a scientific system of thought, society, economy, and government.

    Why? Because science is just another name for testimony, and testimony under threat of perjury is how you stop the lying.

  • WHAT DOES STATE OF NATURE MEAN? —“Curt, is “the state of nature” purely allego

    WHAT DOES STATE OF NATURE MEAN?

    —“Curt, is “the state of nature” purely allegorical?”–Ryan Michael McDonald @ryanmcdonaldusa

    It’s a reference to a presumption human instinctual incentives, and long-standing debate over human nature as moral, amoral, or immoral. The debate is over. Man is amoral (practical). Cooperation is just far more useful (and less stressful)- until conflict, violence, warfare is more useful.

    That said, what natural conditions? Given stone, bronze, iron, or steel? On an island, a forest, a plain, or mountains? In the arctic, the temperate, the steppe, or desert? Alone, in a band, a tribe, a nation, or an empire? In the presence of kin, kith, competitors, or enemies?

    By asking these questions we expose the bias, presumption, assumption (lie), of others. In my understanding, state of nature means what is necessary to survive at the least risk, lowest cost, greatest return, shortest time, greatest certainty.

    ie: it’s all just physics. That is ‘nature’. Reciprocity is the only test of whether when humans act (interact) that we are not engaging in parasitism – a violation of physical laws.

    Man is amoral. Even when moral, only as immoral as he can get away wit. Because that’s the cheapest (optimum) strategy. It’s called “efficiency”.

    Western man simply suppressed as many parasitisms and falsehoods as possible.
