    Sorry, but I have to say this again: being surrounded by Ukrainian families: children, and mothers, is … fulfilling. It’s a living art gallery. Its all of europe. And sure I live in the educated classes. But the men are still men (not feminized wimps) and the women are women (not men). And the children are gorgeous and perfectly behaved in public. It’s such a joy.

    I remember you know. I remember when women couldn’t even go to the bar and order. I remember when the family was sacred. I remember when the commons was sacred. I remember when we planted oaks not ornamentals.

    You can’t fix south america. you can’t fix the Arab world. These are failed peoples. They are failed peoples because they are so asymmetrically bottom weighted that it is not possible to construct formal institutions that produce a voluntary organization of production – there are too many dead weights. The only solution to governing bottom weighted populations, is rule of law, brutal, ruthless, fearsome suppression of corruption, and a total inability of the peasantry to gain access to political rents or subsidies.

    Democracy is a luxury good for the distribution of proceeds from a highly productive people who have themselves suppressed parasitism at all levels of society.

    Democracy is a reward for good behavior that was created by rule of law and careful breeding.

    But democracy in the absence of good behavior created by rule of law and careful breeding, is merely permission to engage in bad behavior, lack of rule of law, and careless breeding.

    There is nothing wrong with ukraine that young politicians, bureaucrats, and judges wouldn’t fix.

    But the solution is not democracy. It is rule of law and a constant propaganda drum of how to do the right thing, and turn in people doing the wrong thing.

    In religion, philosophy, legislation, and speculation, intentions are merely justifications or deceits. It does not matter what one said, what a scripture says, what a law says, or what an investor pays for.

    All that matters is the outcome.

    If practice of your religion, philosophy, legislation, and speculation lead to sustainable intergenerational prosperity then it is true. otherwise it is false. There is no other test of religion, philosophy, legislation and speculation.

    This is very hard for humans to accept.

    But it is science.

    We do not describe imaginations.

    We describe reality.

    Because all else is error deceit and fraud.
