Living here has taught me a great deal about redistribution and culture.

I still hold to my eugenic and calculator criteria but I have also come to understand that the American model will no work any longer.

Post soviet ghost towns in Ukraine.

They aren’t just in Russia and Siberia. Here I Ukraine when the Soviet Union fell and the three factions tried to hold Ukraine Belorussia and Russia/Siberia, people just stopped getting paid, and stopped going to work. The factories were artificially located so like mining towns in the American west, they dried up instantly.

Every village had an orthodox looking church. I can’t always tell the catholic and orthodox churches apart here. But it seems surprising to me just how many of them there are no matter how poor the village. And the relatively good condition.

My favourite vacation if all time is still staying at a castle in west France and bumming around Angers during the day.

We stayed in one place until we went home

I will take an expansive lawn, chickens, architecture true and rural quiet over even the beach. Especially when some semblance of culture is available.

Possibly because it reminds me of the best part of my childhood.

The only choice when a policeman asks or is told to suspend constitutional rights, is to refuse, go home, or resign.

Just as the only choice when a soldier is given an immoral order, is to refuse to obey it.

Just as the only choice when an officer is given an immoral order, is to resign your commission.

There are worse things than murder, violence and destruction. The rule of law must be sacred or it does not exist.

Not the rule of judicial, legislative, or regulatory law: but of natural law.

If you break my right to bear arms, you break my obligation to lend my violence to the government for the just adjudication of differences on my behalf.

  • DEAR MR PUTIN, RUSSIAN STRATEGIC INTELLECTUALS, AND DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF HIS LEA

DEAR MR PUTIN, RUSSIAN STRATEGIC INTELLECTUALS, AND DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF HIS LEADERSHIP: THIS IS AN OPPORTUNE TIME

Given Turkey’s crisis: it appears an opportune time to consider resurrecting the old plan to restore Orthodox Civilization – and retake Constantinople and the Bosphorus.

Any such ambition would, unfortunately, create a rhetorical conflict between your universal position against rebellion, and the reasons you must use to advance Russian interests by defending against the expansion of a hostile Islamist territory to the south – and one that is the prime candidate for the core state of Islam, retaking the Bosphorus and obtaining the naval route to the Mediterranean and gulf, and restoring Orthodoxy to it’s position as the dominant influence in Christendom, thereby insulating Christendom from the immorality of western hedonism.

The ancient order of civilizations is reasserting itself now that the wave of consumer capitalism has exhausted itself, and access to western consumerism, finance, medicine, technology no longer requires western political compromise.

Sponsoring a Polish-Ukrainian-Hungarian-Slovenian eastern European civilization with their catholic and European higher trust sensibilities and with Poland as the core state will be more effective than driving those countries into Europe defensively, or attempting to integrate them into lower trust more authoritarian Russian civilization. It is difficult for Russians to accept that their civilization still lags eastern European in the development of diversified economy and culture even if not in state, and military, but this difference prevents any incorporation of those states into the sphere of influence of Russian authoritarian culture.

It is also difficult for low trust Russians to empower a borderland as a means of defense against the anglo empire that causes the moral and cultural corrosion in Christendom. Because the Russian mind cannot bear the thought of lacking control.

But this exchange is certainly worth the ease with which Russia could both eliminate western cultural encroachment, and at the same time expand Russian territory, culture, trade, and economy into the Maritimes over an unstoppable land route.

Furthermore, reconquest and re-Christianization of the center of Orthodox civilization would right a moral, cultural, and military wrong that should never have gone unmet or unpunished.

This action would transform Russia from the poor-man of Christendom to its savior, and reinsulate Christendom from the expanding threat of islam. This would cement Russian heroism for five hundred years, and reverse the taint of communism.

The internal problem remains the unhelpful dependence upon Chechens for the security services, and the maintenance of the drug trade and black market. Although in the present era with the revitalized military in progress, despite the delays the loss of the Donbas Basin production facilities, every day that passes decreases that dependency.

Russians need to feel vindicated and to restore their perceived place in history and the time is rapidly approaching where this act of heroism will be possible.

The west is a paper tiger. Request to purchase The Donbas and the Crimea from Ukraine for a 100year 20% discount on petroleum. This will be impossible for Ukraine to resist and solidify her relationship economically. Apologize for taking the strategic initiative out of fear of nato capture of the bases. In a time of confusion it was the only rational thing to do.

The world will forgive this ‘indiscretion’ if you take this approach. Strategy in necessary self-interest is different from profiteering on the frailty of others.

Negotiate with eastern territories and be willing to arm them in order to provide them long term security from fear of Russian invasion or conquest.

Move forces to the south. Agitate, and do what Russians do best: exert their will in furtherance of Russian Civilization and the moral mission to restore orthodoxy from its conquest by Islam. Russia has no friend in the west perhaps. she has no friend in china for certain. She has only limited friendship on her southern border. In a world with few friends, it is better to make them unnecessary. And access to the Maritimes and the restoration of Orthodoxy will eliminate the need for friends.

    Cheers.

I haven’t said this in a while because I burned myself out so badly on the business side of things, but I should once again thank all of you for the support, encouragement, and criticism. It’s priceless and it means a great deal to me. Thank you all.

And those of you who have been with me for a long time and who know I rely upon you for support, thank you most of all.
