    GOOD QUESTION:

    First, Aristocracy is the norm in history. The problem is not aristocracy per se, it is in domesticating a large enough percentage of the underclass, that the upper classes can productively organize the society by means of economic and natural law incentives, rather than lies, mysticism, coercion, bribery, serfdom or slavery.

    In other words, if you want to rule by truth, science, economics, and live in prosperity, rather than some other rule that imposes costs upon your people or your neighbors (including us) then you have no choice but to improve the quality of your stock by preventing harm to it through perpetuation of reproduction of those that inhibit the rest.

    We must remember that the lower classes are more disadvantageous than the upper classes are advantageous.

    So,

    1) it depends upon the size of the underclass

    2) it depends upon the distribution of spatial and verbal skills in upper demographics

    3) it depends upon the presence of some economic resource to fund it.

    4) therefore it should take no less than six or eight generations to make a meaningful difference to a population. And it would take more generations to equal what I assume were our 18th-century distributions

    Otherwise, given that as far as I can tell, all homo-sapiens-sapiens groups have diverged almost entirely by some degree of paedomorphic evolution, I can see no reason why not. We are no different from any other animals. We can be bred well and evolve paedomorphically, or we can breed chaotically and return to (relatively) prior states.

    Conversely, assuming we correct soon, there is no reason we cannot maintain a marginal advantage over all but the Chinese.

    I suspect, mistaking pithy heuristics for reality, has to afflict every computer that’s not aware of being one—and that concordantly doesn’t understand the implications of computability. It probably really takes a programmer that’s also proficient in history, philosophy of law, philosophy of math, and philosophy of science to invent Testimonialism.

    The Amish, Mennonites, Mormons, and Quakers are our Equivalent of Orthodox Jews. And our Diasporic Puritans are our equivalent of Cosmopolitan Diasporic Jews.

    I’m from Puritan lineage. I’m happy to criticize my own when they are wrong. The Germans were right and the English were wrong and it’s just the Atlantic ocean opportunism of the Spanish, French, Dutch, and English, vs the cautious expansion of the North Sea civilization of the Hansa that determined which branch of Europeans dominated the modern era.

    We can, if we choose to, restore the Hanseatic Order of Europeans by depriving the Puritans and the Cosmopolitans of their tools of predation: 1) fiat credit, 2) spending of genetic, institutional, normative,and informational commons, and 3) by the distribution of parasitic utopian propaganda and the manufacture of ignorance.

    We can deprive them of those tools of warfare against us by the incremental suppression of their thievery, by the formal constitutional inclusion of the Informational Commons and Property in Toto, of which that commons is a member, and it’s most substantive investment.

    All we require is an amendment to the Constitution and sufficient violence to enforce it.

    And while I will shortly supply those amendments – revoking many and replacing most, it is up to moral men of all ages in all territories to use their wealth of violence to impose it and thereby restore our civilian order from conquest by fraud, where conquest by arms was never before possible.

    In programming we learn the very great difference between the communication of meaning and the communication of truth.

    This is why programming is as necessary a skill as reading, mathematics, and basic logic.

    And it’s why numbers, money, accounting, and property are as important as vocabulary and grammar, the periodic table, or the list of subatomic particles.

    Now you have to ask yourself: Why we teach everything else, but the set of logic, grammar, rhetoric, and history, and the set of money, accounting, property, and economics in our schools?

    We know the answer.

    Because it provides children, and youth with the ability to make uncomfortable judgments by which to question the propaganda of their teachers, their professors, their public intellectuals, and their government.

    Because, an ignorant adult public can be farmed, and an empirical and meritocratic civilization destroyed, by a government of lies, justifying its self-interest via pseudoscience, propaganda, and fraud.

    We will restore truth and testimony in education just as severely as any other part of the commons.

    Excellent Question

    Actually, we needed strictly constructed law, and we discovered to strictly constructed programming first – it seems – by accident.

    The difference is that in the discipline of programming, the test of computability is stricter than in the discipline of law’s test of existential possibility.

    And that the range of problems we test for with computability is broader than the range of programs we test with law.
