  • The West Is Already and Always Has Been Polytheistic

    September 18th, 2018 9:38 AM THE WEST IS ALREADY AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN POLYTHEISTIC [W]e have polytheism already: mythology, literature, history, biography, law, engineering, economics, medicine, science, mathematics, and logic. It is precisely the deconflation into markets of specialization and the different explanations of the universe and our relation to it, that provide that polytheism. Western man’s cult is the law, and always has been. His civic religion of heroic ancestor worship has been invaded by semitism, for the purpose of political conquest, and we are yet again, for the third time, trying to cast it off. But supernatural semitism has been evolved into pseudoscientific and pseudo-rational Semiticism (Abrahamism) in order to restore monopoly of the herd, and once again destroy the market for explanations between peoples of different abilities, that cooperate by trade using that market we call law, regardless of their differences. Semiticism is political warfare no different than the british selling of drugs to china – and even more evil, and always has been. It destroyed the ancient world and drove mankind into darkness. it destroyed egyptian civilization, mesopotamian, north african, european, and eventually greek (byzantine). What crime is greater than 1b dead and a thousand year dark age, then Semiticism (Abrahamism)? So choose Europeanism (Aristotelianism and Stoicism), Semiticism (Abrahamism), Hinduism or its reformation (Buddhism), Cinism (Confucianism). But of them which is demonstrably the least harmful, and most beneficial? Truth is enough. Literature is enough. Ancestors are enough. and all attempts at monopoly and submission are crimes against mankind. No more lies. Truth is enough.

So… Truth, Reciprocity, Rule of Law, Markets that produce prosperity, Family as the central object of policy, paying the underclass not to breed, direct redistribution of liquidity and the polity’s dividends, ending all rent seeking and parasitism both political, financial, and commercial. Exclusionary Nationalism as a means of increasing tolerance for inter-class redistribution, increasing the opportunity for local status attainment; producing commons suitable to the demographics; reducing all possible costs of mutual cooperation and invention; public-private investment in technological, industrial, and commercial innovation. And total suppression of political warfare to impose any alternative. Yeah. Well, that’s my version of Natural Law and it looks a whole lot like NATIONAL SOCIALISM without the silly mustache. So yeah. In the sense that fascism refers to zero tolerance for opposition to all of the above, I’m definitely a fascist. And if you aren’t also then you have no idea what you’re saying other than advocating for free riding, parasitism and predation upon others. So the question is, if you’re not the same kind of fascist, then you’re by definition an unethical and immoral enemy of not only me and mine but all mankind.

  • Us, Our Gods and Our Heroes

    September 18th, 2018 11:04 AM US, OUR GODS AND OUR HEROES [A]ll our heroes are dead, like Achilles, Socrates, Alexander, Ceasar and Aurelius. Some of them are clouded in generations of myth like Arthur and Sigurd and even Charlemagne; and some of them like Odin – our original warrior and law giver – are so lost in the mists of myth and time, that we can only see vague reflections of their features by comparing the various versions of those myths to discover the similarities and differences. But all of them are worthy of asking wisdom, of thanking for their works and our debt to them, and of persisting their memories across the generations so that we imitate the greatness of their characters and ambitions. We are the people who worship (honor) the trees as connecting the sky, the earth, and the underground, as a connection between our past generations in the earth, those that live today on the ground, and those yet to be in our imaginations of the sky. Our ancestors buried their dead under hearth, and created monuments around them with rings of trees or stone. they built groves for the same purposes. They built temples for the same purposes. Church and education are unfortunately connected. For it is that thing we call religion that trains our civic intuition to habituate one set of choices over another set of choices. The question is whether like our current academy, we are told to worship the state, or supreme being as proxy for the state, or our ancestors and our line, and our people, and the state a facilitator of that nation. We are the people of sovereignty – the cult of non-submission. We had forced upon us a false religion of alien nature, and enforced illiteracy, forced indoctrination, and forced submission. Yet our very being resists this evil and seeks repeatedly to regain our sovereignty.. Transcendence through sovereignty, reciprocity, duty, truth, the cult of the law, and markets in everything that result from their use. We have a legion of gods, demigods, and heroes. We have the nature that sustained them. And the universe available to them. And it is correspondence to and consistency with that universe, that nature, and the gardening of each that is what makes us the gods we wish to be.

    DIMENSIONS OF MEASUREMENT
    (repost) There are three dimensions of art criticism:
    – Craftsmanship (includes materials)
    – Design (the play of order(composition) and bounty(beauty) and perception)
    – Content (the content and values of that content) All art can be judged by triangulation (comparison) along these three axis. There is no possible cardinality to art but ordinality can be achieved by recursive triangulation. ALL ART BEGINS WITH MONUMENTAL ARCHITECTURE AND DEVOLVES TO DECORATION AND HANDCRAFTS
    – Monumental Architecture is self selecting due to cost.
    – Monumental Sculpture is self selecting due to cost.
    – Monumental Painting is self selecting due to cost.
    – Life Size Representationalism (not photorealism) in painting is self selecting due to cost (hours). HOWEVER
    – Painting, Print, and Photography are not self selecting.
    They are middle, working, and lower class substitutes for monuments.

    • Even for the upper middle and upper class, and out-of-sight class, the few pieces of quality art that are canon (mentioned in art magazines and books, and references, or which had popular press) are inaccessible. Demand is just too high. So given the high signal value of art (yes it is an extreme expression of dominance), the market has had to experiment with novelty in order to satisfy demand.

    Much of what ordinary people rail against is the same as railing against fashion: for those in the fashion industries (of which display art is a member) novelty has to function as a substitute for scarcity of craftsmanship quality (note my particular distaste for the so called ‘art glass’ industry). AS SUCH
    – Monumental works convey ideas (allegiances, heroics, beauty)
    – The demand for low cost high production ‘decoration’
    (a) may form an icon or ‘remembrance’.
    (b) may decorate the environment.
    (c) may reflect the monumental, life sized, and representational, is misplaced in non monumental size (which is what most of us intuit as great work). IN OTHER WORDS
    – Monumental work is misplaced in most homes and offices in market (business) and is generally reserved for the political and institutional and aristocratic.
    – Most homes cannot support monumental work and require only design (decoration).
    – Most people are actually not capable of design, or capable of acquiring the monumental.
    – As such the colorful, abstract, the impressionistic, are to homes as type design and color pallet are to print and display advertising. IN OTHER WORDS
    – when people purchase relatively well made ‘design’ (abstract, gestural, impressionistic) of architectural size (to fill a wall) they are practicing good aesthetics (not acting on pretense).
    – when people pay homage to the monumental in private spaces, they are practicing good aesthetics. (small engineering drawings, paintings of flowers, well constructed prints)
    – when people pay homage to the monumental in architectural spaces (your living room, hallway, or dining room, or office) you are (a) alienating others, and (b) PERSONAL: ALLORA AND I
    We purchased a detailed mezzotint (print) of an elaborately painstakingly made tree that is about four or five feet tall in all, and framed in a wide matte and black frame. This was the centerpeice of the livingroom between two custom made bookcases. And in the center of the living room we had a glass table with her art jewelry collection and work.     The central idea is the completion of the scientific method, and its application to the entire spectrum of human knowledge. Although understanding the full scope of what that means isn’t at all obvious from that statement.

    The completion of the scientific method is contained in Propertarianism’s Testimonial Truth (Epistemology). Acquisitionism (Psychology), Propertarianism (sociology), and Natural Law (Ethics, Politics, and Group Competitive Strategy).

    The rest of the work consists of application of that scientific method to the scope of human knowledge: “Here is the completed scientific method. If we apply the completed scientific method to the full scope of human knowledge, organized by combining categories of philosophy and social science into a single hierarchy, the result is *all of these ideas*.”

    The consequence of completing such a reformation of the scope of human knowledge, is our ability to explain not only all of human behavior, but to compare all human civilizations and explain why each excelled (The West), developed (China), fell into stasis (India), or regressed (Islam, Australian aboriginals, and possibly central africans), were conquered (far too many), or Collapsed (Mesoamericans).

    This reformation is on the same scale of the previous generations of the scientific method: aristotelian reason and stoic psychology of the late ancient world, anglo empiricism of the early modern era, anglo-germanic science of the 19th and 20th centuries, and brings the social soft-sciences from pseudoscientific into the hard sciences. But, given human defense of malinvestment in falsehoods, I suspect these arguments will take as long to propagate through our civlization as did those previous reformations of human knowledge.

    Whether you consider Propertarianism the Completed Scientific Method, Natural Law (social science), or the codification of the strategy of western civilization, depends upon your interest: intellectual (method), institutional (natural law), or anthropological (the reasons for western rapidity of progress in the ancient and modern worlds.)

    My original purpose was only to provide a scientific language for describing the group competitive and evolutionary strategy of western civlization. The result is the completion of the scientific method, an explanation for the success of the west, a reformation of human knowledge, and a Constitution of Natural Law by which any and all may live.

    The Heroic Civilization.

    For reasons we are unsure of, the west combined bronze horse and wheel, and in doing so transformed from egalitarian earth worshippers to hierarchical sun worshippers. From submissive to heroic.

    Sovereignty.

    But because of their military strategy – a strategy that required large personal investments and large personal risk – they chose sovereignty: the right of the individual to act as his own legislature in his family’s affairs, as the first ‘law, rule or principle’ of their society upon which all others were to depend.

    Markets in Everything.

    The only institutional solution to choosing the strategy of sovereignty is to resort to markets in everything: relationships, marriage, production, commons, adjudication of differences, and rule. And the only means of resolving conflicts between them is the natural, judge discovered common law. In other words the only solution to sovereignty is : the absence of discretion (choice). And the only solution to the absence of choice, is rule of natural, judge-discovered law.

    The Rapidity of Suppression of Parasitism.

    The by-product of this choice of sovereignty is the rapidity with which new methods of free riding, parasitism, predation, can be suppressed – by the first case adjudicated and recorded. And secondly, the ease of expanding risk taking when such rapidity and lack of discretion is visible. And third, the trust that evolves from the consistent suppression of corruption in the state, and free riding in the commons, and parasitism and fraud in commerce, and predation by any criminal means.

    Not First but Fastest.

    In summary, the choice of sovereignty allowed the west to advance FASTER than the rest by process of DISCOVERY faster than the rest. So the West was not first, it was fastest, except in the medieval world when (like now) we were defeated by the first great lie: mysticism.

    Class Structure.

    The west has always practiced tri-partism: the estates of the realm – in one way or another. Since our origins on the steppes of Ukraine and Russia. Priests, Warriors, Laborers. We have always used the class structure ‘honestly’.

    Testimonial Truth and Deflationism.

    The west has (uniquely) practiced deconflationism (specialization) in various forms – never mixing Law, religion, and festival – and resisting the church’s usurpation of our nature worship and related festivals. We have even had in some cases, different languages for our estates of the realm: Latin, French, and German.

    Polytheistic (And PolyArgumentative).

    And so the west has always practiced polytheism of sorts: martial sovereignty, commercial rule of law, craftsman’s technology, intellectual philosophy, commoner religion, and the mythology of nature and the hearth. And each has used different forms of communication and different methods of argument.

    No Single ‘Book’.

    Because of this tripartism, this unconflated set of competing yet compatible ideas produced a very complex unwritten social order never captured in a single book in a single language using a single argument. Possibly because it could not have been until now. We simply didn’t know how. It took us hundreds of years in the ancient world, and hundreds of years in the modern to discover how to complete our single language of truthful speech: that language we call ‘science’ – a language that evolved not from our priesthood, not from our intellectuals, but from our empirical, natural, common law.

    The Great Lies of the 19th and 20th Centuries.

    Our current century and the last, and part of the previous, were victims of the same strategy that Zoroaster, Jerusalem and Mecca used against us in the ancient world: the first great lie of supernatural mysticism. We have been fighting the second great lie of pseudoscience for over a century. We are now fighting the second version of the first lie: Islam, and Islam has replaced the pseudoscience of marxists: world communism with the fundamentalist, absolutist, mysticism of religion.
