    Why did they invent lying? And why are we susceptible to it? Abrahamic deceit is not backward. It is an advanced technology that like viruses or cancer, that takes advantage of a natural cognitive vulnerability to empathy and suggestion to bypass reason and create addiction. The vast majority of humans have trivial agency and are merely gene machines that imitate others around them. Institutions, Myth, Tradition, Norms are all means of training extremely adaptive domesticated animals to work as a group.

    European Civilization Institutions: Competition between

    1. Military(Duty – Hierarchy),

    2. Traditional Law(Markets Meritocracy),

    3. Faith (Piety – Equality)

    UNDERMINING

    1. Darwin Undermines faith

    2. Postwar Jewish Intellectuals Undermine all three.

    3. Successful Disintermediation of the Military from Politics.

    4. Immigration prevents reformation

    The West has maintained a market (not monopoly) between all three Military, Law(Markets), Faith. And they attacked all three. Everyone thinks their ‘discipline(class)’ was the core of european civilization, but it was the balance of powers between them. Like everything in the West, once we have sovereignty we have markets, and tripartism: Military, Law (market), and Faith.

    We would have made it without immigration. Just like Rome.

    But this is how the (((christians))) destroyed rome. It’s a repeat of the attack on rome by the same people.

    The west retains a grammar (method of storytelling) for every standard deviation of ability.

    We are unified by our law that is via negativa. We are unified by our ethics that are christian via-positiva. Those chrstian ethics are expressible in theological, rational, philosophical, empirical and operational terms.

    WHERE DO TRADITIONS AND NORMS ORIGINATE?

    Every group has a competitive (evolutionary) strategy at its formation. We develop narratives (excuses) and rules to persist that strategy, while maintaining some form of reciprocity. Once entrenched these are almost impossible to change.

    There are a limited number of properties to these strategies. I haven’t disambiguated them yet, but at the general level they’re the nature of the world, the nature of man, the ‘right’ organization of the hierarchies to conduct and persist that strategy, and ‘right action’ within it. The norms and language vary according to the stage of development and long term demands.

    These rules allow us to habituate, predict, and calculate our actions giving us the perception of the constancy of the universe by minimizing the complexity of our cognitive costs.

    We are superpredators after all, and it’s amazing that we can cooperate in such vast numbers.

    I don’t complain about races. There are no problem with races. There are only problems with ideas, ideologies, philosophies, theologies, cultures, traditions, laws, and government … and demographic distributions (excess size of underclasses in poor countries mean it is not possible to structure pareto distributions economically, create rule of law, middle class majorities.)

    For the Arabs, islam was necessary to stop the horrible corruption of the tribal leaders. Unfortunately it became an excuse for expansion which destroyed many more developed civilizations.

    If Persians had been successful and the turks not invaded and destroyed persian restoration of the middle east, all would have been fine.

    But the persians could not recover. and the byzantines were finally defeated. And the middle east could not escape ignorance and superstition.

    Arabs use face before truth. This is very hard to change.

    Face before truth, ignorance, and obsession with islam, and externalization of internal conflict is the problem. Time will care for it if we do not have a world war to prevent another empire from rising.

    Depends on what context you’re asking about.

    I dunno what P can tell us but I think the discussion on Ireland has been going on for more than two centuries, and irish were discussed in the same terms as we cast subsaharan africans – and there is no mystery there. It was a third world country not that long ago. And having other people to blame for their condition just gives them an excuse for doing nothing. (Note that I hired irish on purpose ’cause it’s fixable outside of the home environment.)

    WHAT’S WRONG?

    (a) don’t run your population up to 14ppl for acre on the only crop that can support that many

    (b) don’t lose your upper classes to emigration. Ergo, dunno what real IQ is but it has been substantially lower than the european average for a very long time.Ireland went over the cliff (97) which is where the USA is today. 95 is a hard cliff. Ireland is below it.

    (c ) mandate monogamy rather than serial marriage as early in your development as possible. Irish maintained serial marriage until the 1800s.

    (d) neuter the church expand literacy as early as possible

    (e) ruthlessly prosecute virtue-signalers, and corruption no matter how useful it is to you or your family.

    (f) don’t get dependent on handouts from the EU

    (g) if you’re a small country you have limited choices and that’s to imitate either Switzerland (money) or Germany (quality) our tourism (cleanliness, service, discipline). Who does ireland imitate? India. Yep. India. “It’s not my responsibility but its my right to complain”

    (h) countries with nothing going for them try to be different from their neighbors by out-virtue-signaling rather than out-competing (Ireland vs Britain, Canada vs USA, everyone vs Germany). Ireland should be imitating Germany Switzerland and England not trying to be different – that must means losing even more than they’ve been losing. Man up, work, compete.

    (i) petty criminality is ‘acceptable’ behavior (‘knicking’ stuff) instead of ruthlessly punished. You know what the broken window strategy is? Well, Ireland needs it.

    (j) talk about freedom an such but they sure act like they need a freaking brutal dictator to discipline into working and competing for a living.

    (g) Don’t blame others for failing anything above this list. It’s the man in the mirror.

    It is a regime of incessant work for the connected, cronied and nepotised who ironically have no life and no disposable income who end up marooned under a mountain of debt for their life’s toil – while thousands are hidden on ineffective job initiatives.

    An expensive country where money management is impossible and taxes are progressive.

    This country is a load of trouble from beginning to its failed revolutionary end and will end up at the bottom of the bottomless pit.

    Existence refers to persistence.

    The universe exists, and the matter in it exists, because it persists – we can identify that it exists because we posses memory.

    We can identify patterns of constant relations in that persist in that universe – that universe is deterministic at any scale at which we can identify patterns of constant relations.

    We can generalize those patterns of constant relations.

    We can identify unique instances of those patterns of constant relations.

    We can name them.

    We name states(nouns), substitutes for states (pronouns), and properties of states (adjectives), operations (verbs), and properties of operations (adverbs) and we can agree or disagree (yes/no, agree disagree, approve reject)

    We can form and speak(display word and deed) transactions(phrases) and transaction sets (sentences), and sets of transaction sets (stories)

    We can agree with those transactions, transaction sets, and sets of transaction sets (true/false)

    We can speak in promise, suggestion, question, agreement, opposition, or silence.

    When we claim we speak truthfully we speak promissorily.

    One can speak truthfully or untruthfully.

    When we speak truthfully we speak coherently with categorically, internally (logically), externally (empirically), operationally(sequence of actions) consistency, and use due diligence to disambiguate any possibility of misinterpretation.

    We can speak untruthfully because of ignorance, error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, deceit, and denial.

    We are forever ignorant so while we have discovered how to gradually iterate to the most parsimonious hierarchy of consistent and commensurable paradigms (networks of continuous relations at given scales, and in given contexts), in that set of Grammars we call “science”.

    Truth can and only can consist of language in some grammar or other, reducible to analogy to experience, testable by human logical facility.

    So while patterns of cosntant relations exist in the universe, and we can name those patterns, that thing we call truth consists of langauge humans discover, organize and iteratively refine through a process of continuous recursive disambiguation as information increases.

    The human mind works by using sequences of stimuli (patterns) to produce predictions of fragments, object, models, spaces(places), borders, locations, and episodes.

    The mind then recursively predicts possibilities from those predictions using auto association.

    We then use attention to choose which auto associations to permute upon.

    This is how we imagine, and control what we imagine.

    Because we can imagine, we imagine that truth exists, when only phenomenon exists ,and truth consists of the formula by which we describe it.

    Man discovers constant relations and creates truthful descriptions of those constant relations.

    Truthful statements are made by man because only man (so far) speaks.

    When we say honest we say the speaker promises his words are free of suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, deceit and denial.

    When we say truthful, we mean, that operational name (description) which is not false, and satisfies market demand for decidability in the given context, given the present knowledge, and free of bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, and deceit, where the individual uttering it has performed due diligence against ignorance and error.

    When we claim a statement is true we promise that it satisfies market demand for decidability given the context. When we agree that a statement ‘is true’ that means that we AGREE that it satisfies market demand for decidability given the context.

    When we say ‘the truth’ we mean either a parsimonious operational name for the constant relations we refer to, or the MOST parsimonious name for the constant relations we refer to.

    Of the various civilizations which has produced the only method of due diligence with which to speak the most parsimonious categorically consistent, internally consistent, externally correspondent, operational, complete, and fully accounted operational names?

    Of the various civilizations which has paid the high cost of normalizing truth before face regardless of cost to self, competence, dominance hierarchy?

    Only man speaks, only man describes, only man describes in operational names, only operational names are complete and commensurable, only complete and commensurable operational names are parsimonious, only parsimony provides minimum difference between the most parsimonious possible and the current state of knowledge.

    I could work on this further but you get the point.

    That truth must be discovered, named, and uttered (in some form).

    Truth is made. Truth is uttered, Truth is promised, Truth satisfies the market demand for decidability. We consent to that decidability by equal means -or we do not.

    The universe merely exists.
