    —“Curt, What do you think of Graham Hancock?”—

    If I’m sympathetic: I think he is honest about what he does. He makes up, or promotes, myths to inspire and entertain people – to restore wonder to their lives. yes some of what he harps about has a grain of truth in it. I’m charitable because it’s good for us to look back into the past with wonder, the same way we teach children fairy tales so that they will eventually mature into reading history.

    If I’m charitable, the world needs a few of these people so that we make sure wacky stuff doesn’t get overlooked, and the wrong story entrenched (geology in the past and mathematical physics in the present are the best examples).

    If I’m doing my job: he’s using pseudoarchaeology (pseudoscience) to get attention, and it’s been a profitable career for him. and given that his stuff is pretty hard to believe I suspect he’s helping us find suckers, catch them, and reeducate them before they do something harmful to themselves or others. Of all the kind of sucker-magnets in the world he’s the least harmful.

    If I want to correct him, and the audience, it is all but certain that Doggerland, isn’t alone, and the black sea the persian gulf, the red sea, the mediterranean, and the lost lakes and marshes of the south of africa, and various other coastal areas, now obscure much of our long, early, glacial and pre-glacial development with flooding. We may be living in a period of extraordinary technology, but the first five thousand years of chasing the glaciers back north, in doggerland, on the shorts of the black sea has to be about as close to paradise as hunter-gatherers can discover.

    That said, there is no evidence whatsoever of anything pre-glacial but animals, and nothing obscured by post glacial flooding that gave hints to what is necessary for the evolution of man: fire, metal, and pottery. Yes, people do lose technology (austronesians). Yes people do mature into depth rather than neoteny (equatorial africans). But in general, the long graudal line of history up until the 80-40k, and 40k-10k, and 10k incremental explosions, and the past 400 years of european explosion of knowledge, is so regular in retrospect it looks ordinary.

    Narrow Point:

    The fact that the orthodox church didn’t or couldn’t compete with the state on one hand, and didn’t try, as catholicism, to compete with science, reason, commerce, and law, (competition) and remained a specialist in family affairs (unity, community, love) is why it is still regarded as sacred to the people. This is why I don’t ever seem to have a problem with the orthodox community “church is for church, law is for disputes to be avoided at all costs, state is for state to protect us, and we all get along fine if we do our f-king jobs”.

    The problem i have with xianity is that western christians haven’t given up on fantasy of monopoly – theocratic rule, and can’t seem (like russians and traditional americans) to practice the natural trichotomy of state, law, and faith., Under the rather (insane) presumption that the church, having failed so drastically wouldn’t do so again.

    So to in this sense while evangelical christianity is closest to jesus’ teaching, the orthodox church is closest to the institutional church we need, and the catholic church and the protestant churches to that sought to limit the parasitism of the church, were failures. In other words, orthodoxy seems to have avoided both the catholic attempt to rule, the protestant attempt to undermine the church’s corruption, the necessity of catholic and protestant churches to attract members of the aristocracy as local administrators, and best preserved the role of the church in society. Another example of the value of intolerant monarchies.

    Broader Point:

    Aristotelianism seems to produce scientific and technical potential.

    Christianity seems to produce political and commercial potential but it wasn’t enough in russia probably because they missed the renaissance, reformation, and enlightenment.

    Islam seems to resist political, commercial and scientific potential, but produces underclass harmony.

    Judaism produces organized crime families that prey on the commons, which is extremely profitable for them at the cost of the host people. Judaism hasn’t been nearly as destructive as islam – but it’s certainly been bad for germany, russia, america, and now all of western europe.

    Hinduism is some kind of absolutely beautiful madness that I still struggle to get my arms around, but their problem seems to be demographic and without division into sub-states politically impossible to overcome.

    buddhism produces an equally kind harmony at the cost of stagnation. china is trivially easy to understand because they escaped religion. japan and korea easiest to understand.

    Without christianity (enforced) scandinavia, and without buddhism (enforced) japan/korea, would have come provided a pattern we needed. the optimum ‘religion’ was rule of law, militia, monarchy (imperialism), paganism (aristocracy), stoicism(middle) epicureanism (lower middle) heathenism (family), and a priesthood of any kind to take responsibility for the peasantry.

    This competition serves better than monopoly but it needs strong rule of law to prevent any usurping the rest. The problem is, markets are susceptible to intolerant monopolies and monotheism is intolerant and intolerance wins, so the only ‘total intolerance’ we need is defense of those markets.

    0. Reciprocity is the only reason for both sides to refrain from predation, parasitism, or boycott – cooperation or the option to cooperate is more valuable than non-cooperation, and the prevention of future cooperation.

    1. We create reciprocity via negativa by not imposing costs on others demonstrated interests

    2. The name we use for Demonstrated interests is property.

    3. In P-Law we use property in toto as the definition of property, meaning the empirical evidence of what demonstrated interests people defend.

    4. We are all dependent upon the informational commons for information.

    5. Some of us will defend the informational commons (or any commons) from other’s abuse of it. Some will not.

    6. When you make a truth claim to others, or others make a truth claim to you, the person making the claim can, if he errs, biases, justifies, or deceives, violates reciprocity with the audience (what we call unethical), causes you to harm the informational commons as a consequence (by externality), and if he makes that claim in public, harms the informational commons as well, and therefore violates reciprocity in the commons (what we call immorality).

P-Law provides a definition of truth, and the means of falsifying (testing) statements for truthfulness by tests of testifiable, consistency, operational possibility, correspondence, rationality, reciprocity, completeness, full accounting, and possibility of warranty, and possibility of restitution upon error or deceit.

    8. Marxism, neo-marxism (cultural marxism), postmodernism, feminism, and hbd-denialism, are all attempts at deception by:

    (a) claiming european self determination (sovereignty, reciprocity), tripartism (military, legal-commercial), and religious(family-faithful), mediated by law, and limiting us to markets, so that we preserve natural selection by demonstrated behavior, and devoting the proceeds to the production of commons, thereby maintaining the health,prosperity, and wealth of the people, and their competitive advantage is oppression, when all other peoples that did not do so were mired in poverty and suffering.

    (b) that the solution was communism, or socialism, that would end our natural selection, our prosperity, and our competitive advantage, and our ability to drag mankind out of ignorance, superstition, poverty, hard labor, starvation, disease, suffering, and victimization by nature – when all civilizations that have tried any form of equality have died.

    (c) that to bring about communism, socialism, and the reversal of evolutionary transcendence, it was necessary to undermine our civlization at every level.

    Monopoly statism to undermine our tripartism.

    Atheism to undermine our tripartism.

    Anti-militarism to undermine our tripartism.

    Anti-rule of law to undermine not only our tripartism but the means by which we resolved disputes between the classes.

    Marxism to undermine the markets and cooperation between the classes.

    Cultural Marxism to undermine our culture, values, myths, traditions, and arts.

    Feminism to undermine the family as the compromise between the genders given our different reproductive strategies and biological differences.

    Postmodernism to undermine our ability to use social pressure to force conformity into realism, naturalism, operationalism, reciprocity, truthful speech, and defense of the commons so that it was optimu for the production of high trust citizenry; and again,postmodernism to deny the existence of truth or truthful speech – when truthful speech is the primary reason for not only our high trust society but our ‘european means of sense-making’ that made empiricism our laws, democratic participation, our science, medicine, and technology, possible.

    Postmodernism to use language for any purpose by which to obtain political power – abandoning all need for consistency, correspondence, rationality and liability.

    Political correctness to undermine the truth of the substantial differences between our advanced, neotenic, genetically, informationally, normatively, culturally, traditionally, and institutional superior people, so that they can be conquered quietly and slowly.

    Using immigration to reverse our darwinian history.

    Using frailty in our law and democracy to capture our territory and institutions.

    Using the academy to indoctrinate two generations of marxist-postmodernist-feminist-HBD-denialist “Priests and Priestesses” to indoctrinate our children by manufacturing their ignorance, feminizing our males, and making obese both genders.

    That’s only part of what they’ve done. I’ve just run out of tolerance for listing their crimes.

    JUDGEMENT OF THE LAW

    If the informational, normative, traditional, and institutional commons is common property of a people, then the (((anti-western left))) is an organized crime syndicate invading and conquering from within, in violation of the Westphalian peace. And as such these people are prosecutable for war crimes, and we shall have our restitution.

    The problem for Christianity is that it only has one thing to trade -psychological comfort – or what we call mindfulness – and only half or less of the population is buying it. It doesn’t have ENOUGH to trade for the rest of the population to buy it. Yet christians are desperately trying to sell to a saturated market and in doing so losing market share. Instead what Christians, pagans, heathens, traditionalists, constitutionalists and seculars have to trade is unity against the enemy that would destroy our civilization – christian, pagan, heathen, traditional, constitutionalist, and secular.

    So sell the the only thing the market will buy:

    Unity in self defense.

    Unity in Offense.

    And Unity in Victory.

    Because selling monopoly is failing everyone.

    You can’t have control.

    You can only preserve our trifunctionalism: the equilibrium of military, legal, and religious -each in defense of the other.

    This is a beautiful vision.

    It’s a beautiful vision until you travel the world and meet people with influence, wealth, political, and military power, who have very different visions that are completely hostile to yours. The faithful like women, by design, live in an echo chamber – even when they travel the world.

    I never, ever, ever, make the mistake that ‘community of faith’ scales beyond those who know one another personally. Just as female cognition fails beyond those who know one another personally, just as male cognition succeeds largely beyond those who know one another personally.

    This goal of harmony is the same reason women fail in politics. It is why the church always failed as a political system, and why neither jews nor islam can produce a political system but why the jews remain dependent upon host populations just as females upon males. And why the muslims cannot organize anything beyond a family, or family business, a government other than tribal despots, or a military capable of other than small group acts of terrorism. The family, neighborhood, local church community, and village does not scale. Gods, evolution of us, divided the female and male cognition for reasons.

    Because for every man like you that seeks consensus, peace and harmony – there are men like me who seek power, to bend man, beast, animal, plant, world and universe to our will.

    And the moment people like you are marginally successful with your vision, the men like me in competing cultures, states, empires, and civilizations will conquer you for your folly. This ever has been and every will be.

    Because God left us with these rules: the laws of nature, the natural law of man, the christian law of love, and the evolutionary law of transcendence.

    There is no steady state. No condition of eternal peace. The faithful like the woman, seeks steady state free of competition. And steady state means you are just a human herd – food for the Red Queen of evolution, because you have forgotten, and denied, that God gave us the evolutionary law of transcendence, and set us in competition with one another, so that those of use who defied that law would be eradicated by those that obey that law.

    In fact, I would make the rather obvious argument that the abrahamic faiths exist for the sole purpose of denying God’s laws of transcendence – which is why jews accomplished noting until integrated into Aristotelian Empiricism of Europeans, and the muslims consumed and destroyed every civilization of the ancient world – and are now threatening to destroy ours.

    Because christians like the female, share this violation of God’s Law of Evolutionary Transcendence.

    This denial of one of the four sets of god’s laws is why christianity is failing among the educated classes and is devolving into a folk religion and has lost its chances – possibly forever – as a political religion.

    Christianity will either adapt to the necessity of Trifunctionalism: the competitive compatibility between the military, the judicial, and the faith, or it will continue to be the cause of its decline, because it is too selfish to obey one of god’s laws: the organized use of violence by the militia, to defend the faith, it’s people, and the law that together are the only people on this earth who have transcended man out of superstition, ignorance, hard labor, poverty, starvation, disease, suffering, and the chaos of a natural world that has given us but twelve thousand years of respite, but otherwise has sought to exterminate us with regularity.

    Love does not conquer all. Love serves only integrate the conquered into loving one another in conformity of gods laws revealed by god’s hand – not scripture written by men. The unconquered are the enemy of our people, of our god, of god’s law of transcendence, and as a consequence of mankind, and our destiny to sit at the hand of the father of us all.

    @EricRWeinstein The only organizations that ever prevent calcification are the pre-clinton military, pre-1960 judicial common law, and post 1970 surgical, for the simple reason that people suffer and die if one err’s. European civ’s law and science are an application of military epistemology.

    Humans are either PACK orientated or HERD orientated.

    The HERD has a low consciousness hive mind, they are easily controlled, manipulated and spooked.

    The PACK is made up of highly conscious and capable individuals who choose to join the hierarchy for mutual benefit.

    HERDs form by “accident” when a sufficient number of herbivores gather in the same spot. Entry to the HERD is unearned.

    HERDs expand and multiply during good times. When trouble comes they turn on each other, abandoned the young, old, sick and weak. Thus the HERD gets thinned.

    PACKs form to hunt prey and to fight outsiders. To take advantage of opportunity or to deal with a threat. Entry to the PACK is earned.

    PACKs degenerate in the good times. They get fat and lazy. Hard times bring out the sharpness in the wolf. Struggle binds the pack together.

    If you are part of a PACK, then you are PACK orientated.

    If you are not in a PACK you are in a HERD.

    If you are alone, you are still in a HERD, you are just a little lost from the group, probably they left you behind.

    The HERD sacrifices those it leaves behind.

    As life gets harder we will see more men forming PACKs. Struggle brings out the wolf in men.

    The best men are already in PACKs, ready for the break down to signal the start of the hunt.

    The next best men are already looking to form or join a PACK.

    Will you be left behind?

    I am a career entrepreneurial ceo. My family has been martial throughout history. I studied war more than any subject in my childhood. I have martial and entreprenrurial sensibilities. I have come to understand men must have martial-political, and entrepreneurial-craftsmen sensibilities, and possibly religious sensitivities to be whole. To maintain a trifunctional society we must have trifunctional sensibilities: martial, legal, religious

    I have no problem and find no contradiction in a personal relationship and care for you and your happiness, and a paternal relationship between you and the truth. I have never held to the premise that officers should not fraternize with the enlisted and executives with staff.

    Instead they should never cross certain lines any more than a parent should cross certain lines. We are parents and officers first, friends and comrades second, and only on those things outside of our parent-child, officer-enlisted aristocracy-producer relationships are permissible on social terms, or we are failing at all of them.

    Women have a hard problem with this.

    Men of ability and character don’t.

    Men lacking maleness in their training do.

    My standard response to the fed-post accusation is to:

    a) mock anyone who says using 2A for its primary intended purpose is “bad” (were the founding fathers “feds”? lmao), and;

    b) demand they produce and articulate a solution: “What is your plan for when the Right can’t win any more elections?”

    Often these groups/individuals that countersignal are either consciously or subconsciously trying to hold on to their “market share” of right-wing audience – they have invested significantly in what they are doing, and many people even on the dissident right are still hoping in vain that there is some other way to win without force.

    P kinda makes everybody else look bad and threatens to make them irrelevant because we are a) describing the situation with brutal honesty (force or at least show of force will be necessary) while they are not, and b) P is so stunningly well thought out, with such thorough coverage and breakthrough insight both in explanatory power and recommended solutions, that it is impossible for anyone else on the Right to compete with. (Simply put, no other group has Curt on their team.)

    P also requires a decent amount of time investment to understand well enough to say “yeah, I get how this could work”. And time is something leaders have very little of – I have very limited time to invest in learning details about what other leaders/movements/packs are doing.

    We are also slaying the sacred cows of libertarianism/ancap etc., and correcting a bunch of failed strategies all around. (For example, we say persuasion & voting can’t be the Right’s primary strategy – but most groups on the Right are built around that primary strategy.)

    All this results in the leaders of other “packs” sometimes having an initial negative reaction toward us.

    One way to mitigate this without compromising on the truth, may be to invite people like this on my show and genuinely try to promote them (cuz many of them are doing great work in many ways), and then also ask them what they think of our basic solution proposals (policies etc, not in-depth P stuff), and have that discussion.

    Propertarians are the adults in the room on the Right. And we’re figuring out how to deal with/work with the other “packs”.

    So the problem I see in Sloan Wilson and Schmatenberger mostly concerns missing The G Must Rise axis of the discussion. If indeed we are experiencing cognitive decline masked by the Flynn effect and genetic engineering will continue to be prohibitively costly as a large fraction of how new minds are created, and we don’t make an AGI deus ex machina, THEN we must keep the basal genetic and hereditary structure generators that provide us intelligence and safe tech design above some water level. There needs to be at least X people above Y Intelligence for the continual prevention of X-risk and catastrophic risks.

    The G Must Rise people seem to strongly mired into politics, and sometimes I suppose that prevents their memes from becoming widespread among people who want to save the world, EAs etc… the focus on differential reproduction, and keeping intelligence afloat is insufficient if we don’t also consider the risks and damages of loss of autonomy and individual intelligence and offloading that intelligence to higher levels, hive minds etc… Forming superorganisms has trade offs, and isn’t a panacea, as the G must rise people sometimes seem to advocate.
