    If you ask me instead, if the militarization of the state, economy, and polity in a total war against the ancient european enemies of judaism, chrstianity, islam, or their new pseudoscientific equievalent of communism, liberalism, progressivism by imposing a intolerant, nationalistic, ethnocentric, state-religion of nation and kin, with policy enforcing eugenic reproduction and strong stable families, high employment, mixed economy, with a prohibition on privatization of commons by finance and industry, and devoting proceeds of core industry to the production of commons rather than prive consumption, then yes that was the optimum political order. The chinese have adapted that order. And they have modernized it without the inspirational, emotionally rewarding but destructive ‘cult’ or ‘hero’ false promise that cannot be maintained.

    If you mean that such an authoritarian, cult of personality political system, the modern equivalent of an authoritarian monarchy, or the attempt to use ideology like religion that also replaces empirical evidence – why the Fascists failed – then no, that was their f–king demise. Always. This is why organizations fail, and why they fail by scale, with states failing last and hardest.  Only ADVERSARIALISM (competition) falsifies rent-seeking. Forces regular reorganization to preserve core mission. And only wargames provide bureaucratic Adversarialism. And only wargames that seek to cause the organization to fail. The CDC doesn’t run war games that falsify the organization’s readiness and competence, nor does the treasury or any bureaucracy other than the military. The military was superior at every crisis for this reason. Laundering the military from society has vast consequences. The CDC failed hard. The WHO failed hard. They failed because our classical liberal, liberal, Marxist, and postmodernists thought leadership was a catastrophe on the scale of the Christianization of Rome. The postwar era has desperately tried to replicate german professional bureaucracy without realizing it’s origins in Prussian military bureaucracy. Our experiment with ‘civilian’ bureaucracy has been a catastrophic failure because professional means UNACCOUNTABLE. Crisis doestn’ matter. Chinese are ethnocentric and nationalists. like the russians and the japanese they will pay the cost of retaining cultural and institutional advantages over generations. Jews and Muslims are doubling down on conquest and consumption of genetically and culturally superior peoples, through undermining the relations between the classes that are now unable to increase their standard of living given the increase in underclass (dysgenic) population. We can ether equilibrate world prices by ending consumer interest, or increase redistribution by retaining it.)
