Note that it’s a feminist opinion piece (essay not paper) free of any science. And continues the feminist pseudoscientific claim that observable measurable physical structures (other than amygdala and corpus callosum) do not show brain differences like genitals show differences. However, this is childlike pseudoscience because it is connectivity and weights that determine sex differences in brain organization, and we can easily tell the sex of the individual in increasingly sophisticated variations on fMRI imaging.
You would know that if you were even vaguely familiar with the literature (which you aren’t).
BUt like all women you double down and never admit y you’re wrong, you just pretend otherwise, continue your magical thinking, and demonstrate how right I am with every word you think, speak or write.

It’s not a dodgy subject at all. As the audience here can easily observe, you’ve done nothing but read pop sci articles and propaganda.
We solved the question of IQ in the 80s, the nature over nuture debate by 2000, sex differences in intelligence and personality by 2012, and race differences by 2018.

We now the direction of human evolution from chimps and it’s relatively simple (noteny) and that evolution has been accelerating – at least until the industrial revolution’s reversal of natural selection.

All we are doing is slowly accumulating the polygenic scores to try to determine if we can identify enough of the causally dense contributions to intelligence, personality and cognitive development.

Now, if you know anything at all you would state it.

I’m pretty rock solid on brain development beginning with neural tube formation, and migration of stem cells to different parts of the body, and from there the incremental evolutionary development of our brains.

I can discuss every single function in the process of the organization of the brain and resulting cognition and I’ve made educational videos on the subject, and have a handful left to produce.

So I know you’re a nitwit and I know you have psychological problems, because a full third of women have psychological problems (which we were warned about prior to women’s entry into the franchise). Of the remaining two thirds of women who lack mental problems, more than half demonstrate feminine proglems with cognition and I’ve documented the I’m painful detail, by explaining how the science of female antisocial behavior originates in neurological structure. In fact as far as I know I’m one of the top single digits of experts in the subject despite not wanting to be.

    Cheers

I read a series of articles on your substack. I chose the recent article on conservatives as the most obvious one to demonstrate your incompetence.
While largely an epistemologist unifying the sciences, I have had to specialize (unfortunately) in differences in lying, and in particular the sex differences in cognition and lying, and the expression of sex differences in lying in different classes ethnicities and civilizations.
So, you are as transparent to me as a psychopath is to a psychiatrist.
Science and logic are not esoteric. It’s just that you’re as far behindt he science and logic as theologians were behind the post newtonian scientists.
You are merely unaware of your own ignorance and immorality because of it.
Why? Positive feedback for your attention seeking.

A criticism from JC Bryant who thinks sophistry in political analysis and sarcasm in political insult are a sufficient substitute for demonstrated competency and intelligence.
For example, JCB’s tedious criticism of conservatism, and vapid praise of the new age.
Conservatism(capitalization) is reducible to the male (not you) extreme bias, and progressivism (consumption) the female extreme bias. The terms are statements of bias in the use of capital. With the central institutions of the West dating back to the steppe, the ongoing conservative demand for the preservation of those institutions for the single purpose of maximizing individual responsibility, prohibiting hubris (you), given the demonstrated tendency of man toward parasitism (feminine, progressive, leftism), which led to aristocracy, church, and peasantry a consistent barrier to the rise of the middle class – who has the only demonstrated moral incentives and resulting moral character.

While under agrarianism, even small subsistence farmers were effectively entrepreneurs, but lacking the ability to scale, and extracted from by state and church, the industrial age and now the technological age have given a vast opportunity for people to exit the market into commercial employment or worse, academy, and state employment, where they have restored the parasitism of the aristocracy, of the church, and thru immigration and redistribution the peasantry.

Now, if you studied something valuable with your Ph.D. like neuroscience, artificial intelligence, economics, and law, then you’d work from the evidence of man’s constitution and his behavior – good and bad – and at individual and large scale.

But no. You’re living with the delusion of insight obscured by your shallow success with ridicule and wit, which is of course, the feminine, progressive, left’s use of female undermining, social construction, and critique because, they (you) lack the knowledge competency and insight to produce solutions that contribute to innovation, adaptation, and evolution, and continue our long tradition of outpacing the rate of development of the entire world in the bronze, iron, and now steel ages.

So before you ridicule what you not only do not comprehend and may not possibly be able to comprehend, look in the mirror and don’t antagonize your betters with your pretension of other than cunning.

    Cheers

Geoffrey Hinton, despite his long history in the field, and having left Google recently to caution against AIs, makes a rather weak (silly) set of arguments to justify his fear of AI.

Language models are quite knowledgeable but extraordinarily dumb at present, non recursive, non-predictive, unable to form world models, and unable to make moral decisions (reciprocity, property, demonstrated interests), and are being trained to get worse by humans trying to teach language models not to be offensive, and therefore to lie.

So instead of explaining how to move language models into world models, predictions, cause-effect models, and moral (legal) judgements, he’s just launching scare tactics because of what he sees.

    Exasperating.

–“”Western Civilization,” which is a term of art invented by….”–

    That’s just false.

The historian Herodotus (l. c. 484-425/413 BCE) famously made the distinction between ‘civilized’ Greeks and ‘barbarous’ non-Greeks in his Histories. And Aristotle would be considered a white supremacist by any and every measure.

The word ‘civilization’ was first used in eighteenth-century France, but the Western idea of a civilized society dates back to ancient Greece and Rome.

The middle east (“Orient”) referred to the West as the West back, I don’t recall, but certainly in antiquity. The word “west” in west indo european languages originated in pre-history as nighttime, and east for daytime, to reflect the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.

It is impossible to defend Christianity on any grounds other than giving the underclasses a means of obtaining status in Aristocratic Western civilization and thereby rising above the status of domesticated animals.

Rome was evolving in the same direction (as were all religions at the time of the roman empire, about 800 years (~one civilizational cycle), from recovery from the bronze age collapse. In other words, it takes 800 years to cook a philosopher for reasons we are just beginning to understand.

Good luck comparing any Christian to Aurelius. Any theologian to the Greeks, or the post-Christian ‘natural philosophers’.

There is nothing good in Christianity that was not good in pre-Christian Europe, other than integrating peasants into society. And that was, truly, a wonderous ambition. But unfortunately, it came at the cost of superstition and the very sophisticated means of Abrahamic deceit. And it is Abrahamic deceit that causes Christians, Muslims and Jews, as much or more as other faiths, to engage in excuse-making and lying to preserve their superstition.

IS CULTURE ENOUGH TO RESTORE WESTERN CIV?
    Good Piece by @ConceptualJames today.

One disagreement: James believes in the efficacy cultural change because that is the venue of his competency. Some of us (myself included) have less confidence in culture producing policy, legislative, and constitutional changes.

Why? Because fundamantally, as a first principle, the left is selling freedom fromresponsibiilty and the right is demanding individual responsibility. “The right has nothing to sell to women and immigrants.”

And so, some of us simply see too much risk in exclusively depending upon cultural change. For our part (our organization) presumes:
    1) discourse has failed (institutional capture)
    2) voting has failed (women and immigration)
    3) appeal to congress has failed (again, capture)
    leaving only:
    4) appeal to the court (reverse lawfare)
    5) revolt in the imitation of our founders.

So we emphasize the state and federal courts, as well as the founder’s court of common law, to sue the state for a redress of grievances – and upon exhaustion of those two remaining options, only revolt.
