    The argument we’ve been making (internal and external to MSFT) since the first use of video cards for calculating weights in the early 00s, is that if AI produces the search results we want, there is no place for advertising, and that kills Google’s revenue stream.

    Google’s problem is finding a value prop if advertising isn’t it. MSFT can float search without advertising indefinitely, as it has a revenue source embedded in an unbreakable network effect.

    And google had the first mover advantage and sat on it for years, precisely because they understood what we had almost two decades ago.

    There is an obvious counter to MSFT revenue stream for both Google and Apple. Apple is riding on the iPhone and Google on ad revenue. But these are both vulnerable.

    While I’ve never had a problem getting access to MSFT senior staff, or doing major deals with there, it’s been impossible to work with google, because they’re more arrogant (overconfident) than MSFT in the 90s.

    We change when we have to. And given how lame Claude is vs ChatGPT, and the direction they’re taking with it to avoid doing what they ought to, even if it’s a threat to search, the future ought to be interesting.

    Right now, it’s rather fun watching the industry try to brute force the LLMs into something other than a UI for a bottom up AI. And while progress is impressive, they have to solve the logic and reasoning issue ,world model issue and adversarial competition issue. And that’s before we get to needling neuromorphic hardware to end the memory and training compute problems.

    Race is the result of a long history of empiricism and science, and social constructions are always and everywhere lies, just as you are trying to socially construct a lie despite all the evidence. Noticed that I keep stating the history and means by which race manifests everywhere on earth, even so much as South Americans presenting their lightest colored children as the face of the family.

    It is what it is. Why you feel the need to lie and deny is the more interesting question that is worth exploring. Because we know why you do it, and we can even predict scans of your brain because of your behavior on this topic.

    Races exist historically, they exist genetically, they exist behaviorally, and denying so is just lying. When the term was first used in many forms, including by Aristotle, it was unclear that the races of man evolved from the four speciation events, into the races and hybrids of the races today. Only after Darwin and the late 19th century work did we document this i detail, and we incrementally documented the tree of life, such that it is quite clear that human races are either species or subspecies of Homo sapiens sapiens. And only with genetic confirmation have we identified the differences. And only with developmental biology, magnetic imaging, personality, moral, and intelligence differences have we documented the vast differences. And of course all hybrids as expected, demonstrate the predicted average of the traits of those they are hybrids of.

    So races exist. if you wish to call them species. If you wish to call them subspecies. If you wish to call them by an other name, the are, as all species are, adaptation of the founding population to differences in geography, climate, resources, and competitors. And they represent gradual domestication syndrome that regulates the migration of stem cells from the neural tube which determines the rate and depth of maturity, resulting in neotenic evolution, and the gradual domestication of mankind, by the gradual domestication, of the sequence of races.

    Social construction is lying. That’s exactly why the postmodernists invented the term. to lie. ;). Postmodernism is a war against truth. It is ‘truth Marxism’. Undermining.

    And you can try to lie all you want but this is just fact.

    Science uses the terms species, and subspecies, and for man uses the term race, and where race is controversial, the term population.

    You are welcome to continue to try to socially construct a falsehood in order to lie and deny but no learned people and none of responsibility will fall into such a trap, when the court has established, and aggressively that terms mean what they meant to the authors in the time the were stated, and as such standards of weights and measures. And to make case before the court it’s a burden upon those presenting the argument, to demonstrate that the are not engaged in ‘conflation inflation suggestion or deceit’ by the use of alternative terms, for the purpose of coercion.

    You’re just a munchkin. And you don’t know to whom you chatter. And your chatter is only useful, because I can share it with those who are not so ignorant, gullible, and suggestible, to educate them in how to handle the unwashed masses.

    This is why I have collected thousands of these such discussions for the purpose of textual analysis to demonstrate the means by which the feminine mind lies and denies. 😉

    We are coming close the the realization, and the demonstration, that women are unfit for politics, unfit for the education system, and harm to business and industry, because they are hostile to the truth before face, reciprocity, and contract that make advanced civilization possible – and by instinct along, if at all possible, they will destroy civilization from within in just a generation or two. And as such at best we must give them a separate house of government, so that they can at least learn, but not harm, when harm is their very nature – pandora must never get her hands on the box.

    I am pointing out that we should ourselves seek nationalist leaders who put our interest above others. Regardless of what he pursues, he is in fact a very brilliant man who is ruthlessly pursuing the long term interests of his nation.

    As a professional, I can separate my disagreements from my understanding of his abilities strategy and tactics.

    I know that like most people, you live in a moral world. But I live in a scientific judicial and economic world. So I am able to put things in boxes and think about them independently.

    So while I understand you and your position, please try to reciprocate and understand me and mine. We both pursue the same ends. We just use different tools to do it. 😉

    And it takes our tools and others tools all working together to bring our desired ends about.
