    No the people have been disintermediated from the courts by the left. It’s rather easy to restore the power to the poor in the courts, if we, as in the past, and as is common in europe, create and administrative court.
    While in the past you had access to the Manor (nobility) and in our constitution should have access to your representative both local, state, and federal – as an escalation path. This is no longer possible becuase of legal activism.
    We can restore these rights and restore people to defense and access – and we can do it without the most vulnerable and gullible sectors of the polity enabling bad legislation and law whose promise is impossible to fulfill and produces the opposite of the claimed ends.

    There are only so many ways to pay for the commons.
    One is commissions from the activity created by the market created by the institutions including that of law. This can be either sales or income. Income causes the LEAST interference in the pricing system and human behavior. Sales too much influence on both.,

    The other is payment for services: meaning we vote for public services (auction is perhaps better) and we pay for those services we consume – but this just causes massive free riding.

    We use direct economic democracy with the budgets for each thing we need to finance, and we individually allocate our funds to whatever we wish, until all funds are allocated. This means you can’t over-fund anything, and you can’t close until you’ve funded everything. 😉

    No one owes anything to anyone other than equal defense of what they have earned by means of reciprocal cooperation. You nor anyone else has a claim on anyone else other than defense against those who would harm you and what you have demonstrated an interest in through reciprocal exchagne.

    I don’t owe you. “Society” is another word for “me and him and him”. And so we don’t owe you anything. Instead if you do not like the terms, you are, like any other, welcome to depart and find people you prefer to cooperate with on your terms.

    Your access to the polity is granted only by not imposing costs upon the demonstrated interests of others obtained by reciprocal exchange.

    In other words you have access to a polity in exchange for avoiding crimes.

    Those who contribute to a polity for the purpose of producing public capital of course, then logically, in defense of their i nterests, have say in how it is used for the benefit of all who have access to the commons.

    No on is responsible for you. Period.

    Yes, women are less emotionally intelligent(logical) than men – acting more like children. But women engage in more empathy and more emotinoal sensitivity, emotional activation, and difficulty in emotional self regulation – which turns out is necessary for keeping track of rug rats. 😉
    It’s a feature not a bug, except when it’s out of its sphere of utility. 😉

    The only federal devolution necessary is to return to the original constraints of the constitution, maintaining the guarrantee of a rpublican government, and (clarified) rights, while restoring social and economic policy to the states (and city states), and constraining the government to its original limits. Britain and the USA were not separated from Germanic civilization until after 1830. The USA was constructed on the same model as the Holy Roman Empire which at that time was a thousand years old. They merely use the english invention of the modern rule of law state, and blackstone’s natural law as the legal framework. If it were not Jefferson’s (foolish) fascination with the french, and Washington’s refusal to ascend to monarch, we would very likely have bypassed most of our crises. And our attempt to integrate prussian bureaudracy failed because we did not bulid bureaucdracy out of prussian military discipline.

    I’m thrilled by your piece, although you avoid that it’s rather obvious from the science that we are simply going through the process of integrating women into the polity – which turns out is far harder than the working and laboring classes in the industrial revolution, and the middle classes under the enlightenment. Because women evade responsibility at all costs. So they are not compatible with a high trust society and the burden it placesupon all of us for the defense of private and common, physical and behavioral.

    And no, I don’t like knowing this. It means the problem that could have easily been solved in the last century is not nearly impossible to solve. 🙁

    Stop thinking that something is wrong with our civilization but instead, that giving women the vote expressed their instincts.

    Stop thinking that all immigrants are bad, but that any immigrant that can’t pass a college entrance exam in the upper 50% is bad.

    The common law used to take into account our sex, class, culture, and racial differences. But with the advent of positive law, we failed to bring forward those prohibitions- for no other reason than males were more able to take advantage of the technology invented by europeans for both good and ill. It has only been a short while that we have included others, who do not share our presumptions and traditions. And we must merely suppress their antisocial behavior as we have our own.

    And thats fairly easy to fix.
