The purpose of Stoicism and Buddhism is to end our rule by emotion: meaning “animal instinct” so that we might, with effort, become humans. Albeit Stoicism provides an objective and masculine, action oriented solution within reality, and Buddhism provides a subjective and feminine means of disconnecting from reality, both achieve mindfulness by similar means.

So no. We are only ruled by emotion because we fail to CHOOSE NOT to be.

There is a very great difference between a domesticated animal, and a human being. A domesticated animal has been trained to cause little damage despite its impulses. A human no longer is governed by impulses.

If you think the spread of islam was fast, you haven’t seen anything yet. Fundamentalist truth, and the restoration of western conviction will make each prior expansion look like a casual stroll.

You see, in my view, we keep the church but we expand its portfolio of content dramatically. We don’t even need to work hard. People who want church any kind of knowledge or social experience for the family will come. The other churches will continue to either die off or adapt.

I want to defeat the state with the church.

But my concept of the church is a very different one.

Not only is the universe not made by a god who created us in his image, but it is an extremely hostile place for life, where we have seized a brief period of accidental safety to evolve into rational tool-using beings – but where, at the same time, we could be exterminated at a moment’s notice. The universe does not care a whit about us. It’s actually hostile to us. It’s only when we transform it into an eden that we create a fortress to defend ourselves from it.

WHAT IS OUR ANSWER TO CHRISTIANITY?

—“How hard do we have to push on Christianity, and what is the best approach?”—

I think christianity has committed suicide. There is no need to battle it. We need a vehicle for ‘traditionalists’ that achieves the same experience as christianity does. Traditionalists do not grasp that the feeling that they experience: submission to the pack response, is achievable in every religion, and has nothing at all to do with the content of it. What they do grasp is that there is something special about germanicized christianity. What they don’t get is that christianity is an excuse for what are pre-christian sentiments: Aryanism. And that those sentiments that are Christian are actually ‘bad’.

    So our objectives are:

    1) Provide a superior alternative (I think I have that figured out)

    2) Usurp Jesus’s teachings in rational language but that is all.

    3) Stay on message of truth (in other words, force them to double down or join us)

    4) Buy up churches as investments in infrastructure.

    5) Evolve into a replacement for the church/academy/school/banking complexes.

    6) Build out militias from these churches (armories).

  • Religion may be necessary, but not lies.

Nov 15, 2016 10:40am Religion is a NECESSARY institution for the provision of decidability by narrative, which is the loosest theoretical structure we currently know how to construct. The question is whether we claim religious narratives are true(history), are myths(parables), or are supernatural(falsehoods). History and Myths are enough without resorting to lies.
