The numbers the russians put forward didn’t make sense to me until today. But Ukraine is just a pretext. It’s not even the goal.
Russia’s population is going to halve very shortly. This is all about survival of the regime. It’s likely about survival of the country.

Not really. Russian armor depends on air cover. The US relies on air power. But, the US core problem really? Having to ask congress to supply missiles, boms, and ammunition means we lack inventory to defeat armor with air.
