Those few people in the world who are entirely positive, universally joyous, unfailingly supportive, and unquestionably giving and loving are too rare. Losing one of them hurts even more.

174 LBS THIS MORNING
(Thanks to the ulcer diet.) I don’t recommend the diet, but do recommend the weight loss. :/) That’s from my high of 210, average of 200. Getting closer to an right amount of body fat, but now need to go to work on muscle. As soon as I can do anything other than walk slowly anyway.
(Can’t be tall and charming like my friend Andy, so I gotta do the best I can with what I’ve got. 🙂

ONE FOR THE SOCIALIST MEDICAL SYSTEM
Ok, so I have had this vicious ulcer problem since January. It’s quite serious. And my expensive Concierge doctor did nothing of value except talk about it, nor did the various emergency room doctors in Connecticut, Bellevue, Redmond and Ottawa. However, I got lucky, and after two days of workups at the hospital here in Carleton, on Thursday I finally get my first operation – thanks to the initiative of a doctor who actually tried to fix the problem.

NOTE TO SELF
Do not write while on pain medication. What you write may SEEM like it makes sense. But it only seems that way. lol :\

I DONT GET IT
So I get sick for a month and lose five pounds — and gain two visits to the emergency room. The only thing I can eat or drink is coca cola and soup. And I gave up on coffee.
And suddenly my debilitating allergy to sulfites disappears.
The only two suppressors are b12 and molybdenum. Both of which I bet are absent from cola. So did a month of not eating clear my liver or something? Was the tear in my stomach the cause? Avoiding the high sulphur content water in Canada?
I just want to know so it doesn’t return. A life without chocolate is just too painful. 🙂

ARGH
Three pain pills last night. Turned the heat up to high. Fetal position all night. This is getting really old. It’s got to be that infection in January. Did something to my stomach.
Need a clear head to write legal documents and can’t do it.
