as for IQ level I don’t know. It seems to be challenging in the 120s, just takes work in the 130’s, relatively easy in the 140’s. I suppose it’s like any science. If we got the dummies part done, and required for enough coursework we probably could teach it to most over 110?

What I notice is that the vast majority of people – all but a minority – can’t compartmentalize self from evidence. And are completely unaware that they aren’t really thinking very often, and almost always appealing to intuition.

The secret to buddhist mindfulness is simply to train yourself to control attention by practicing feedback loops. It’s basically the same as learning to ride a bicycle except harder because it’s harder to control the feedback loop of attention. Breathing is the easiest way.

Yes although I suppose the first point to make is that thinking and reasoning are expensive, confusing, error-prone, confidence-withering and alienating.And disconnecting, de-rationalizing, and running with the herd are euphoric.And pretty much it’s no more complicated than that.
