ARGUMENTATIVE WEAPONRY
—“I know it’s public, but I thought it’d still be polite if I asked. Would it bother you if I used a specific comment you made on one of your statuses in a conversation? You make some really good points.”— A Friend
Look. Here is how this deal works. I get to use the public as a testing ground, and in exchange (a) you get to learn how to argue, and (b) you get to use my work products as you see fit.
My job, our job, is to create argumentative weaponry in order to provide libertarians and aristocrats (conservatives) a post-moralizing (and therefore scientific) means of argument against the pseudoscience, pseudorationalism, and outright lying of leftists.
It’s a good deal for both of us. π

If I were your Art Director, I would suggest you collect every aryan (western aristocratic) symbol extant, and sort them until you felt you understood the meaning of every gesture in all the symbols. And then look at the problem facing our people (all peoples) today, and chose only those gestures that solved the problem we face today. Otherwise you are just playing ping-pong with you intuitions, and your intuitions are merely the result of whatever random stuff is already in your head. This is how all great artists work. It is how must professional artists work. and it is how all professionals work in every field: research.Jul 12, 2018 10:45amAdam VoightThe Tyr rune is pretty deep: not just the rune of Mars, but also of honesty, law, and oaths (because of the Fenris-oath). It seems weird to have his rune in a sun or a gear. Either of those work better with the Thor-runes Thurs, Ur, Rad, or, Sig.Jul 12, 2018 11:39amCurt Doolittleso Lambda and Tyr (characters) are ‘floating in a field’Jul 12, 2018 11:46amAdam VoightThe gear symbol is cool for worker-symbollism. Look at the Angola flag; that’s cool. Slightly more modern than the hammer and sickle.
It would be cool to have three elements; one for each of the Tri-funcitons.
Tyr is first, the gear is third, and if you add Mjolnir or some weapon, you get the second function.Jul 12, 2018 11:50amAdam VoightWhat iS a good first-function symbol or rune any way?
The Valknut? maybe.
The Three Vats (ur-horns) of the Mead of Poetry.
The runes Wunjo, Odhala, Dagaz, Ansuz, Cenaz,
Sleipnir, Gungnir, Drapnir, the Raven, the color white.Jul 12, 2018 12:06pmCurt DoolittleI dunno. I don’t know if I can judge. I know that the simplest possible symbol is always better than the more complext. Every mark (gesture) increases copmlexity.Jul 12, 2018 12:22pmAdam VoightYes, each national movement could have a different rune, just as each nation has their own patron Saint.Jul 12, 2018 12:34pmCurt DoolittleAdam Voight ooh… I like that.Jul 12, 2018 12:34pmWHAT DOES THIS GEAR/WHEEL/ARROW SYMBOL REFER TO?

I just discovered The Virtuoso Today when Ekaterina Makarevich ( ΠΠΊΠ°ΡΠ΅ΡΠΈΠ½Π° ΠΠ°ΠΊΠ°ΡΠ΅Π²ΠΈΡ) invited me to like The Virtuoso Facebook Post.
I want to compliment and describe the contents of The Virtuoso site (periodical) but as always it is hard to translate into between our languages.
But I will try: The Virtuoso is an example of philosophy ‘without woo’. It is far closer to the old european (great) and greco-roman (good) teachings than western books on Stoicism or virtues, which are often childlike version of self help with western childish optimism.
Instead, the contributors have restored the pursuit of virtues in a form that is secular, traditional, and rational – lacking the dogma of theology, pseudoscientific pretense, or ‘new age woo’ so common in western thought.
I have been a rigorous advocate of slavic (orthodox) culture for its avoidance of the mistakes of the west. And this is the first publication
The Virtuoso is very close to what I recommend as the restoration of our aristocratic (‘stoic’) virtues, although I would love to see self-authoring (goals and journaling) even more deliberately emphasized.
NOTE: If you use Google Chrome and turn on the Translation functionality, the site will be translated into english well enough to be read. I wish I had the time to contribute an english version, and a german version might be worthwhile as well. But for my Friends in the west who want to understand the traditional mind – this site provides a better answer to our traditional framework than is available anywhere in the west. Anywhere.

Anywhere.
