China, like ME was river valley but relatively homogenous – state dominant. ME river valleys but heterogeneous with constant tribe-ruler turnover – dominance of ingroup religion. Europe was steppe herders to evolved entrepreneurial warfare – contract dominant (law).

So all people, all organizations, all institutions, all civilizations tend to seek neural economy and monopoly of one of the three-axis – usually religion(lower IQ-ME) or state(higher IQ-china), and only Europeans chose law first, preserving competition between the Male/Female.
