The matter of marriage could have been solved by reciprocal exchange of powers of attorney, and a legal partnership, for the purpose of reciprocal care, rather than devolving the institution of marriage from one of public insurance of non-interference, preventing moral hazards.

@AP OPINION:(legal scholar) As I understand it there is no precedent for the State interfering in the marriage contract, where the marriage contract consists of public insurance of non-interference in a family, thereby preventing moral hazard of children w/ single parent and poverty.
