@alternative_right THat’s because they’re protecting their cognitive, emotional, and physical sovereignty – because they percieve any claim against free will as an opportunity for their oppression. And they’re right. But only if we understand, as you’ve said, that free will means moral choice. In other words, we have free will within the limits of reciprocity, limited by imitation, sympathy, and empathy, and so we have free will at least in the domain where it matters to us and others, even if we are limited in cognitive ability outside of it.
