Declining USA is a good idea among many. Is chaos an indicator of decline. There are always rising and falling nations. (But in the end geography, demographics, rule).

China has a fraction of the military, financial capacity, so why do we see china not declining? Because the USA is a mess – in one of our periods of chaos. No nation is eternal. But we see a rising china that is in greater risk than the USA.
