Teaching is not a skill, it is a talent. That’s the data. The vast majority of teachers are not smart enough to teach more than the three R’s. That’s the data. The vast majority of professors are not smart enough to teach university level material. That’s the data. The university is rife with malincentives – departmental advancement, rather than teaching. That’s the data. The vast majority of university money is not going to the advancement of the people and their nation. That’s the data. The vast majority of degrees accomplish only what high school education should accomplish: assortment of people for different workplaces, by IQ, organization, and Industriousness. That’s the data. The vast majority of student debt funds this hierarchy of malincentives via taxation and impoverishment of students in first earlier, then later life. That’s the data. The Academy, State, Media, Finance complex benefits from this set of malincentives and contrary evidence, at the expense of the working and middle classes.
