Under islam, you must treat a man with respect even if he does nothing to deserve. In the west we have a hierarchical class system even though we do not have a caste system. In our system it is readily apparent to the muslim (as it is to most black and hispanics in america) that they are at the bottom and are constantly ‘corrected’ in their behaviors: superstition, violence, ignorance, etc.

It is intolerable for a person to experience this change in status signals. It is intolerable for a civlization to adopt the muslim false status signals without also reinforcing ignorance.

Because it is through these signals that we discipline the under classes if not ostracize them.
