ITS NOT THAT PHILOSOPHY IS DEAD ITS THAT RATIONALISM IS DEAD AND WITH OBJECTIVE MORALITY, PHILOSOPHY IS COMPLETE
—“Philosophy is dead… Scientists have become the bearers of the torch of discovery in our quest for knowledge.”—Stephen Hawking
Of course, I write in the language of philosophy but as far as I can tell I think and argue as a scientist.
The law of that category we refer to as natural law, functions as the foundation of our philosophy. Otherwise, yes, philosophy appears to consist of a set empty of verbalisms searching for rational rather than mystical religion. They toy with meaning, and morality, but not truth and voluntary exchange.
Strictly constructed natural law is indistinguishable from strictly constructed sets, or strictly constructed mathematics, or strictly constructed physics – all that differs is the scope of properties involved.
Unfortunately the academy, starting with theology, moving into philosophy, has sought engaged in job preservation. But science prevails.
And more unfortunately, The state has taken on the technique of legislation and regulation, which are to law what lying is to testimony, justification is to logic and mathematics, and pseudoscience is to physics.
Stop the lies.

LIARS VS TESTIFIERS
Here is my position on Philosophy, and Continentals in Particular:
1) The scientists, social scientists, and common law jurists, have largely done good. This is very hard to dispute.
2) Most philosophers if not all other philosophers have done more harm than good. This is difficult to accept, but hard to dispute. Influence (power) is not a measure of good or bad.
3) The french, german and cosmopolitan (european jews) did more harm than any other in history.
4) The only greater harm done than the continentals was by the prophets of the monotheistic religions.
5) If I am successful in testimonialism and propertarianism there will be no more continentals at all, only truthful restatements of the ideas they put forward.
The distinction between science and philosophy will be eliminated, and we will separate the world not in to science and philosophy but into untruthful and truthful speech.

Slayer of false gods, false promises, pseudoscience, shoddy argument, and justification of priors.

TRANSCENDENCE
We transcended the limits of intuition with the invention of Reason in Greece.
They pulled us back into morality.
We transcended perception with mathematics and geometry
They pulled us back into astrology.
We transcended morality with Roman law.
But the Byzantines pulled us back into mysticism.
We transcended mysticism with British science and economics.
But the French and Germans drew us back into rationalism
We transcended religious language with industrial science and Darwin.
But the cosmopolitans drew us back into pseudoscience.
We transcended the limits of perception with relativity, macro economics, computability.
But the postmoderns and feminists resorted to propaganda, shaming and lying.
We transcended pseudoscience with genetics and cognitive science.
Truth, science law are enough to transcend us from their mysticism, rationalism, pseudoscience, propaganda and outright lying.
There are no discounts on excellence. There is no cheap trick. No cheat. No cunning. No witticism. No deceit.
The only perfection is truth itself.
And the only means of discovering truth is that method of laundering error bias wishful thinking and deceit from our words and thoughts and memories.
Only gods have no fear.
Therefore only gods can know the truth.
The truth is not comforting
The truth is empowering.
It is truth that makes men gods.
It is godliness that makes us truthful.
Only cowards and the weak fear truth.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY OFFENDER
So now I have offended six groups:
1) the local Critical Rationalists on four counts: that the method is not unique to science, that critical preference is theoretical not empirical, and that testimony is the only existentially possible truth, that popper’s arguments are cosmopolitan, not unique to science, and incomplete.
2) I’ve offended the offended the Libertines intentionally on the fallacies of argumentation, NAP/IVP, and Mises’ failure by confusing operationalism as a test of existential possibility with empirical investigation, plus a host of other issues.
3) I’ve offended the entire continental movement as an attempt at deceit by conflation, and having adopted the technique of the christians and gave the technique to the cosmopolitans: marxists, libertines, and neoconservatives, as well as the anglos: neo-puritans – who have devastated our culture with it.
4) And I’ve offended a Nietzschean because he could not grasp the difference between negative philosophy (law and epistemology) and positive philosophy (aesthetics), and because I had to criticize Nietzsche for having failed, like all other conservatives (aristocratics) have failed, to employ rationalism or narrative, when only science has succeeded in transcending the pseudoscience of the postmoderns and their predecessors in the enlightenment.
5) Strangely enough the traditional christians do get offended, but since I basically argue that (a) the church did some good, and (b) christianity’s love is pretty useful I tend to get by.
6) My (formerly many) jewish friends who object to my rather extensive attacks on the jewish enlightenment – as if my attacks on the german, french and anglo aren’t just as damning.
Just how it is.
We soldier onward.

THE PURPOSE OF SCIENCE
The the scientific method is an organized process by which we separate subjective information from existential information. The purpose of the discipline of science is to construct hypotheses via free association combining observed phenomenon and imaginary phenomenon, launder them of imaginary content, to determine if a truth candidate survives that process of cleansing.

APPARENTLY THEY DON’T TEACH ANY KIND OF LOGIC TO PHYSICS PROFESSORS ANY LONGER?
—“Yes. I hope a member of a SWAT team will not assume that a weekend spent learning physics or astronomy would let them walk in front of my students and teach them astronomy or physics; I’ll do them the same credit of assuming that a weekend spent learning how to handle a gun would make me nearly as good as a SWAT team member. (Or even ‘capable of making the situation safer’.) — Becca Stareyes
Any military officer will assure you that gun safety and use is teachable even to imbeciles in just a few lessons.
Else we would not be able to field armies.
Mastery of any abstract reasoning presents a high barrier to entry. Competence with a firearm can be achieved with an IQ of 80. And for what it’s worth the target iq of police officers is 107 – barley sufficient for junior college work.
As a philosopher I will flip the argument around and suggest that it is difficult to imagine one can both fully grasp the standard model on the one hand and field such a sophomoric fallacy on the other.
Curt.

“…now the economists win the Nobel for explaining to their fellow economists something that the general public has always known, e.g.:
1 – Politicians care about themselves (Buchanan).
2 – Don’t put all your eggs in one basket (Markowitz, Miller, and Sharpe).
3 – You can’t fool all of the people all of the time (Lucas).
4 – Some people know more than others (Akerlof, Spence, Stiglitz).”
