If something had not ‘gone wrong’ in India she would have produced the best culture with time. It may be climate and demographic curse. But I don’t quite understand what went wrong yet but I”ll figure it out. I think we undrestand what went wrong with persia and germania. And russia, germania, and china are our fault for not lettting russia retake orthodoxy, not letting germany retake europe, and not letting macarthur and patton finish the job of the second world war with russia and china.

  • Confusing the Math with Reality

There is no conflict between the coordinate system (our means of description) and the change in the background (described by that coordinate system), and the motion of the particle (energy, change) through the background. He’s confusing the math with reality given that we don’t know the underlying geometry, so we have to resort to use of aggregates (the wave function). Math is a language (logic, grammar) of positional names ideal for the description of constant relations (patterns). If history is a judge of anything, we are stuck in a problem that Hilbert warned us about, and Einstein and Bohr trapped us into, by using probability (aggregates) instead of solving the problem of the underlying geometry. Whether that geometry is a circular (loops) creating a 3d space, or triangles and tetrahedrons creating 3d space, the resulting pattern of which is loops or strings, is something we don’t know and it’s why quantum mechanics and relativity are seemingly incompatible. They make use of two aggregates describing two different patterns. Both theories are correct. The same way that biology and chemistry are correct. But the geometry underneath quantum mechanics is something we just don’t know yet. Unfortunately mathematical platonism is as infectious a disease in physics as it is in mathematics – and lest not even get started on economics.

The universe changes state by operations. We use mathematics to describe point changes. Calculus breaks down at the subatomic level. Calculus breaks down at the economic level. The problem is we don’t have a calculus of geometries (yet) and we may not have one until we solve either the subatomic problem, or the protein folding problem or the economic problem. I’m betting on the second mostly because both math and physics are lost in nonsense land.

In other words, mathematics describes averages of points in time, it doesn’t not describe operations.Mathematics consist of operations that describe states and changes in states and averages. But not the underlying operations. Physics studies both the quantitative and the operational. Mathematics just the quantitative (positional). So while mathematics describes ‘sums’ operations describe changes in state. Here: At every “level’ of reality we discover an underlying limited number of operations (Grammar) producing some set of symmetries (outcomes, equilibria), and above that a new limited number of operations (Grammar, outcomes, equilibria)) that produce another set of symmetries, and above that and so on. So, we don’t yet know what causes the quantum level We have a fairly good idea what causes the subatomic level. we have a very good idea what causes the atomic level. We have such a good understanding of chemistry that it’s boring. We are getting a fair understanding of biochemistry (and that it’s mechanical). We are getting a beginning understanding of proteins (and that it’s mechanical(operational) ) We are getting a beginning understanding of genetic reproduction (and that it’s mechanical- operational) . We are getting a fairly good understanding of cells. We have a more than fairly good understanding of multi-cellular (complex) organisms. I’ll stop there since I think you can see the pattern of some set of physically possible operations producing a finite set of physically possible states, followed by another set of physically possible operations producing a finite set of physically possible states, and that this process continues indefinitely, all the way to what we call consciousness. Now life buys us conservation of energy (defeat of entropy), but it’s still bound by the laws of physics (the underlying grammars). Memory buys us prediction. And prediction provides our ability to perform operations (actions) that improve our defeat of entropy. Increase in neural( brain) volume provides Competition between predictions, which provides us choices of options for defeating entropy. Increase in Brain volume provides iterations on predictions for increasing choices of defeating entropy the sequence of actions (or inactions for that matter). Increase in brain volume provides prediction of others predictions and predicting opportunities for cooperation that further improve our ability to capture and use energy by defeating entropy. Human ability to capture energy is limited by the grammar of human action (possible actions and sequences of actions and parallel combinations of other’s actions). So the grammar of human action consists in the physical, emotional-intuitionistic, and cognitive operations. Those operations are bounded by physical limitations of the grammars upon which they are constructed. Both Physics and Economics are bound by the same underlying grammars (laws) but because humans have memories, prediction, sentience, and consciousness, reason, calculation, symbolism, and computation, we can use debts and credits with each other to temporarily lend to each other, in presumption of future returns on that investment or debt. We don’t violate that physical law. Because humans observe reciprocity (equilibrium) just as the physical world obeys equilibrium (entropy). If we didn’t we wouldn’t be here. And so some people specialize in capitalization (productivity) and some people specialize in consumption, and others in parasitism or predation. But in the end, over time, we are limited by the physical laws of the universe. We can create productivity (as does life), or we can parasite upon other lives (as do bacteria and viruses). We cannot run the clock on parasitism (Socialism or gypsies) or conquest (islamism) forever because we will run out of hosts to prey upon. So economics is just physics with debits and credits (ability t steal, to borrow, to exchange,to produce, or to save) made possible by consciousness, by test of reciprocity (account balances), within the limit of proportionality (exit).   • What Does Truth Mean?

    Jan 5, 2020, 7:31 PM Existence refers to persistence. The universe exists, and the matter in it exists, because it persists – we can identify that it exists because we posses memory. We can identify patterns of constant relations in that persist in that universe – that universe is deterministic at any scale at which we can identify patterns of constant relations. We can generalize those patterns of constant relations. We can identify unique instances of those patterns of constant relations. We can name them. We name states(nouns), substitutes for states (pronouns), and properties of states (adjectives), operations (verbs), and properties of operations (adverbs) and we can agree or disagree (yes/no, agree disagree, approve reject) We can form and speak(display word and deed) transactions(phrases) and transaction sets (sentences), and sets of transaction sets (stories) We can agree with those transactions, transaction sets, and sets of transaction sets (true/false) We can speak in promise, suggestion, question, agreement, opposition, or silence. When we claim we speak truthfully we speak promissorily. One can speak truthfully or untruthfully. When we speak truthfully we speak coherently with categorically, internally (logically), externally (empirically), operationally(sequence of actions) consistency, and use due diligence to disambiguate any possibility of misinterpretation. We can speak untruthfully because of ignorance, error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, deceit, and denial. We are forever ignorant so while we have discovered how to gradually iterate to the most parsimonious hierarchy of consistent and commensurable paradigms (networks of continuous relations at given scales, and in given contexts), in that set of Grammars we call “science”. Truth can and only can consist of language in some grammar or other, reducible to analogy to experience, testable by human logical facility. So while patterns of constant relations exist in the universe, and we can name those patterns, that thing we call truth consists of language humans discover, organize and iteratively refine through a process of continuous recursive disambiguation as information increases. The human mind works by using sequences of stimuli (patterns) to produce predictions of fragments, object, models, spaces(places), borders, locations, and episodes. The mind then recursively predicts possibilities from those predictions using auto association. We then use attention to choose which auto associations to permute upon. This is how we imagine, and control what we imagine. Because we can imagine, we imagine that truth exists, when only phenomenon exists ,and truth consists of the formula by which we describe it. Man discovers constant relations and creates truthful descriptions of those constant relations. Truthful statements are made by man because only man (so far) speaks. When we say honest we say the speaker promises his words are free of suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, deceit and denial. When we say truthful, we mean, that operational name (description) which is not false, and satisfies market demand for decidability in the given context, given the present knowledge, and free of bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, and deceit, where the individual uttering it has performed due diligence against ignorance and error. When we claim a statement is true we promise that it satisfies market demand for decidability given the context. When we agree that a statement ‘is true’ that means that we AGREE that it satisfies market demand for decidability given the context. When we say ‘the truth’ we mean either a parsimonious operational name for the constant relations we refer to, or the MOST parsimonious name for the constant relations we refer to. Of the various civilizations which has produced the only method of due diligence with which to speak the most parsimonious categorically consistent, internally consistent, externally correspondent, operational, complete, and fully accounted operational names? Of the various civilizations which has paid the high cost of normalizing truth before face regardless of cost to self, competence, dominance hierarchy? Only man speaks, only man describes, only man describes in operational names, only operational names are complete and commensurable, only complete and commensurable operational names are parsimonious, only parsimony provides minimum difference between the most parsimonious possible and the current state of knowledge. I could work on this further but you get the point. That truth must be discovered, named, and uttered (in some form). Truth is made. Truth is uttered, Truth is promised, Truth satisfies the market demand for decidability. We consent to that decidability by equal means -or we do not. The universe merely exists.
