The Value of Text
1) leaves a record of the evolution of the argument, and the tactics used in pursuing it.
2) Sophisms, Signaling, and Frauds are much harder to get away with in text.
3) The chain of reasoning one can produce in text is more suitable to proof by falsification, whereas verbal reparté is more suitable to analogy and justification (fraud).
4) I do not care whether you continue to argue or depart, because articulate debate only serves to educate the followers – there is no chance that you can win such an argument – you just don’t know that yet. I do. You can only say “Lying is a strategic advantage if you can get enough people to do it without getting them killed in the process.”
5) I am now aware of you, just as you are aware of me. And I don’t practice philosophy but law. And prosecution of those who perpetuate harm against the commons is not only my job, my art but my moral duty.
6) You can use the pejorative ‘aryan’ as if aryan (law) vs semitic (religion) is some sort of dispute over taste rather than a dispute over truth and transcendence, vs lies and dysgenic regression.
You’re reasonably talented but it’s too clear that you are used to confusing the tactic of winning by sophism against the common folk, and not experienced at such debate with professionals with the hard science of it all.
Trying to repeat the past is simply an admissino of the failure to solve the problems of the present. The problem of the present is the same as it has always been: the conflict between the agrarian-metalworkers using law and markets (Male reproductive strategy), and the pastoralists using cults, and separatism (the female reproductive strategy)
Horse+bronze+wheel+sky-worshipping+Militaristic+expansionist vs earth worshipping, pacifist, separatists.
The eternal war between Cain and Able: The Masculine vs the Feminine.
This is the fourth cycle of that war of civilizations.

[A]ssuming Tesla makes it to 2020 with the Roadster (at $200K) it is going to be VERY difficult to justify buying any other sports car on the market. If they get it down to 120-150k, it will crush Porsche, and dig a hole for Ferrari. I mean, it’s very, very hard to argue with those specs and 650m range. That’s a grand tourer (4 seat) supercar for cheap, with nearly perfect balance.
Right now my favorite car on the market are still the aston and jaguar. But it’s really hard to look at this thing and say … well, you know, everything else is a steam powered horse and buggy by comparison.

Never have I had a more difficult dilemma.Oct 14, 2018 4:43pmJonathan Graehlfast. https://nsx.acura.com/explore/nsx is fast enough (200mph) and takes gas, thoughOct 14, 2018 5:04pmCurt Doolittlenah. japanese can’t design a car that doesn’t look like it fell off the shelf at a toy store. I’ll take italian, brit or german. ;)Oct 14, 2018 5:09pmBenjamin Slatten0-60 in 1.9 secs!Oct 14, 2018 5:17pmBenjamin SlattenOct 14, 2018 5:17pmAaron KahlandNo, you can’t have that acceleration and range nor can you have that speed and that range.. or aircon.. or your music playing.
Any other car manufacturer out there can bring this same product out.. indeed this is scarcely even a uniqe car – the current roadster is a Lotus Elise with a battery.
Assuming Tesla is around in two years’ time – why would folks want to pay 5x the price for something that is likely falling apart and has performance that appeals to weekend racers. It isn’t even useful for the Autobahn because it can’t deliver speed and range.Oct 14, 2018 5:28pmThiago Modelborn Pereira-BerthoNo because Porsches and Ferrari’s look much betterOct 14, 2018 5:31pmAaron Kahland@[741197263:2048:Curt Doolittle] this car was actually designed by a woman and I think she may have been an American. Design not popular.Oct 14, 2018 5:32pmCurt Doolittle@[687166933:2048:Bjorn Moritz] he will run out of moneyOct 14, 2018 5:54pmAaron KahlandWhat really upsets me about Musk is Tesla – I’m convinced it will ruin what would, otherwise have been, a superhuman reputation.Oct 14, 2018 5:55pmReid DavisI’ve had many ffm situations, owning rocket thrusters on my whip I ain’t never had that, I’m tryin to get to see what that be like, I can hook up the ffm on foot patrol, over half of the US has da vajayjay, ain’t nobody got rockets on their supercars cept jay lenoOct 14, 2018 6:02pmScotty MorganToo bad I can’t afford that. Guess I’ll have to settle for Tesla stock.Oct 14, 2018 6:03pmAaron Kahlandyou certainly can’t afford that.Oct 14, 2018 6:05pmScotty Morgan@[1420794899:2048:Aaron Kahland] that’s what I said?Oct 14, 2018 6:07pmJay Schmitt@[1420794899:2048:Aaron Kahland] Tesla has the highest customer satisfaction of any car manufacturer. The Model S scored higher on crash safety tests than any other sedan. Tesla is currently outselling BMW and Mercedes in America.
It’s not nearly as easy to copy Tesla as you think. The engineering in these cars is 5 years ahead of any competitor.Oct 14, 2018 6:07pmJay SchmittThe reason people are so down on Tesla is because it’s the most-shorted stock in history. So there are literally billions of dollars behind the anti-Tesla propaganda machine.Oct 14, 2018 6:08pmAaron Kahland@[14210762:2048:Scotty Morgan] I mean the stock (because I expect it will drop to near zero)Oct 14, 2018 6:10pmJay SchmittDon’t listen to Aaron, he doesn’t understand how corporate finance works. I do.Oct 14, 2018 6:11pmJay SchmittAmazon was running much bigger deficits for much longer than Tesla. And they had more competition.Oct 14, 2018 6:11pmClaire AdelsteinThey are outselling Mercedes in the United States?Oct 14, 2018 6:17pmAaron Kahland@[100000467119517:2048:Jay Schmitt] yes, but as you understand corporate finance you’ll know that Amazon was generating serious cashflow whilst Tesla is burning it rapidly.Oct 14, 2018 6:18pmJay SchmittYes.Oct 14, 2018 6:19pmClaire AdelsteinThat’s impressive, if that’s the caseOct 14, 2018 6:19pmJay SchmittThe demand for electric cars, particularly with the Tesla badge on them, is virtually unlimited. It’s like Ferrari or Lamborghini.Oct 14, 2018 6:19pmAaron BradleyIn a specific segment only of course… not overallOct 14, 2018 6:21pmJay Schmitt@[1420794899:2048:Aaron Kahland] maybe that’s because Tesla was building factories. Ya think?Oct 14, 2018 6:21pmAaron Kahland@[100023432041550:2048:Claire Adelstein] The answer is ‘no’. Tesla outsold BMW for ‘passenger cars’ – which Americans are scarcely buying – not ‘outselling BMW and Mercedes’ – who offer a wide variety of SUVs and outsell Tesla – not to mention make solid profits in doing so.Oct 14, 2018 6:25pmAaron Kahland@[100000467119517:2048:Jay Schmitt] it is ridiculous to claim that Tesla’s brand value approximates that of Ferrari.Oct 14, 2018 6:26pmAaron Kahland@[100000467119517:2048:Jay Schmitt] Tesla’s free operating cashflow is very deeply in negative territory – that has nothing to do with capex.Oct 14, 2018 6:40pmAaron Kahland@[100000467119517:2048:Jay Schmitt] in the time we’ve been discussing this, Tesla has lost around a million in cash. Tick tock Mr Musk.Oct 14, 2018 6:41pmClaire AdelsteinYeah, I don’t know about Tesla having the brand value of any car like FerrariOct 14, 2018 7:07pmPerry MeyersI don’t know. People drop that kind of money for the brand name. You can’t substitute Ferrari of Lamborghini.Oct 14, 2018 7:28pmArne TorbkornssonWhere can you actually drive a car at 250 miles ? Nowhere….. after a certain point it’s just for showOct 14, 2018 7:40pmZachary Bert@[741197263:2048:Curt Doolittle] Tell that to the NSX and GTR when they’re trouncing a ton of those German and Italian cars.Oct 14, 2018 11:04pmTorian BlackwellIts brand lost some sex appeal.Oct 14, 2018 11:32pmBjorn MoritzHere in Germany you can.Oct 14, 2018 11:52pmCurt Doolittleit doesn’t matter if the ugly chick can carry a bigger bag of potatoes. ;)Oct 15, 2018 12:13amTony Goylionii dont know a thing about cars but thats retardedOct 15, 2018 12:17amTony Goylioniretarded coolOct 15, 2018 12:17amJay SchmittWould anyone want an electric Ferrari? If they get it down to 120-150k, it will crush Porsche, and dig a hole for Ferrari. I mean, it’s very, very hard to argue with those specs and 650m range. That’s a grand tourer (4 seat) supercar for cheap, with nearly perfect balance.
Right now my favorite car on the market are still the aston and jaguar. But it’s really hard to look at this thing and say … well, you know, everything else is a steam powered horse and buggy by comparison.
