Putin would be the most popular politician in the world if he had offered (he still could) to pay Ukraine for the territories (under threat that he could take them otherwise) and he could have kept ukraine in his orbit. Instead, he impoverished ukraine further, and drove her forever to europe, broke the postwar consensus on borders that was the principle necessary to prevent another world war, demonstrated that the only guarantee of sovereignty is ownership of nuclear weapons, generating new demand for proliferation, pivoted the USA and NATO back to Russia, created justification to expand american military spending, and dramatically harmed his people and their economy. He panicked and he flinched and he confirmed eastern europe’s fears: that he is an irresponsible threat to civilized peoples. Worse he has restarted the propaganda war, and saturates his people with fabricated news on purpose. Not of utopian fantasy like american politicians but out of nihilism.

It would be terribly easy to fix this problem and he lacks the will to do it. Fix ukraine with discounted gas, stop lying and propagandizing, and just assert that he’s right in his opposition to the USA’s intrusions, the fallacy of democracy, and western hedonistic (barbaric) western culture – and keep suppressing home dissidents. It’s not like most of the world doesn’t agree with him outside of left leaning western pseudo-intellectuals.

  • 21st CENTURY RELIGION – PART II – ANTI MONOPOLISM

[T]he other point I try to make is that while the world practices political monotheisms (Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity), that this is a POLITICAL statement not a factual one. In china they practice Maoism in the leadership, Confucianism in the upper classes, Lao Tzu in the lower, and Buddhism as a moral binding principle across all. In the west we demonstrably practice (a) Aristotelianism, Natural Law and Legalism, (b) Christianity – political and moral religion (c) Paganism – myths and traditions, as well as nature worship) I know I am ‘inspired’ by trees just as our ancient ancestors were, and I understand completely why the churches were intentionally built upon our sacred groves. My politics and law may be aristotelian, my morality and commons may be christian, but my mind, heart and soul are pagan through and through. Whether it’s genetic or not we don’t know yet. Cheers Curt

  • Revolution Is A Simple Matter To Bring About

[R]evolution requires (a) one weapon: fire (b) shorting power lines (c) blocking roads (d) making police, fire and emergency workers fear to leave their barracks (e) encouraging the military to intervene, (f) collapsing both the economy and the government by the persistence of military occupation, and slowly enfranchising the military so that they take over the government. We pushed them out of europe before. We can push them out again. If we allied with the Russians and the Chinese we could push them out of existence. They are the enemy of libertarian and authoritarian civilization alike.

The truth is enough. The truth at all costs. One needs incentive (our genocide), moral authority (we have been lied to), something to demand (a radical restructuring of government), a plan for transition (a body of thought), and a plan by which we raise the cost of the status quo until there is no alternative. Liberty in our lifetimes.
