YES. I BAIT YOU INTO LEARNING OR TEACHING…

I say something controversial, something offensive, or something that’s a half truth.

The purpose of doing so is to attract ‘those who understand a half truth’, then bait people into correcting me (or using suggestion to correct them by inserting doubt), so that I can make a point:

that the (a) abrahamic tradition is predatory, and

    (b) that intellectuals who lack power, attempt to seize it (obtain status signals) by deception, using this technique REGARDLESS OF THEIR GENETIC ORIGINS.

Men seek to advance status (climb a dominance hierarchy) by any RATIONAL MEANS AVAILABLE TO THEM, and lying (abrahamism) is an exceptional technique for that deception, just as western truth telling is its opposite.

If I wrote about propertarianism the way *I* think, no one would know about it at all. The price of getting criticism is that I’m entertaining by advancing my work from the position of an extremist.

Long time followers know I use these techniques. I attack things or promote things in order to create conflict and interest in order to provide solutions that if stated simply would be overlooked, because the knowledge required to comprehend them requires an essay, whereas in this technique it requires an argument that people can get involved in.

Create controversy to draw interest, then solve the controversy by leading the horse to water.) Exactly what every talking head show on television does all day long…..

—“Why spend time on becoming specifically a _web_ developer?”— Maxim V Filimonov

I think if you study comp-sci at a university there are more intellectually interesting, and more profitable, problems -where you can work with better people.

I think consulting and travel working on system integration is always financially more rewarding. And if you are curious about the world, certainly more interesting.

I think that if you want to practice a craft for money there is nothing more interesting for people, and I am not sure there is much more *achievable* for them.

Web is largely marketing and social. System Integration is largely business related. System and driver development is for engineers. And this reflects the structure of all other technological crafts.

I prefer to work on business software, even if my specialization is user interfaces. But I recognize that it’s my bias.

    My view is that:

    (a) Browser alliances are holding up innovation and driving up costs – the standards movement was NOT advantageous, but inhibitive.

    (b) Javascript is trying to please the bottom and causing us tragic problems across the rest of the spectrum, and driving up costs world wide.

    (c) Java is and always was a horrible technology by which to circumvent failures of operating systems.

    (d) Microsoft is holding up innovation because of the network effect, the availability of rents,

    (e) Apple has abandoned professionals and therefore competition with microsoft.

    (f) Google has failed in its attempts at defeating microsoft’s monopoly (because google sucks at UI).

    (g) that the future is just javascript and ilbraries and the ‘node’ technology that circumvents the server burden.

The browser is already the OS, and JS is already its language.

PHILOSOPHY IS A WASTE OF TIME: STUDY HISTORY, LAW, PROGRAMMING, ENGINEERING, SCIENCE, ECONOMICS

—Q: “Name a philosopher that will blow my mind”—

    There aren’t any.

Philosophy is largely a history of fantasy literature – an attempt to replace the false authority of pseudo-mythology with the false authority of pseudo-rationalism with History, Common Law, and Science as the record of intellectual achievements.

The 19th and 20th century consist largely of increased emphasis on pseudo-rationalism, and the invention of pseudosciences dependent on statistical justifications of abstract goods reducible to hyper consumption.

And it has only been since approximately 1999 with the fist book by Pinker, but the flood that followed, that we have begun to fight back against the pseudosciences (freud, boaz, marx, cantor, mises, the frankfurt school) and the new pseudo-rationalism (the french postmodernists and anglo pragmatists).

Teaching is not a skill, it is a talent. That’s the data. The vast majority of teachers are not smart enough to teach more than the three R’s. That’s the data. The vast majority of professors are not smart enough to teach university level material. That’s the data. The university is rife with malincentives – departmental advancement, rather than teaching. That’s the data. The vast majority of university money is not going to the advancement of the people and their nation. That’s the data. The vast majority of degrees accomplish only what high school education should accomplish: assortment of people for different workplaces, by IQ, organization, and Industriousness. That’s the data. The vast majority of student debt funds this hierarchy of malincentives via taxation and impoverishment of students in first earlier, then later life. That’s the data. The Academy, State, Media, Finance complex benefits from this set of malincentives and contrary evidence, at the expense of the working and middle classes.

    This has to end.

THE TORTURE OF YOUNG WOMEN LEADS TO THEIR CURRENT CONDITION

A young woman going thru puberty in a public school system, and without a team sport, without brothers, a strong father, the constant presence of her mother and perhaps grandmother, is no different from sticking a young man in a prison. Instead of developing her hyper sensitivity, while saturated by counsel and boundaries where her mind and energies are put to practical use, we send her to a prison (school) populated by the insane (fellow pubescent girls) with preachers (teachers) who lie to them about the nature of the world. Girls evolved to care for children as soon as they are able to care for themselves. They did not evolve to require reason, but to sense and equalize emotion and demand. The purpose of reason is to use fragmentary information to select from among those things we can imagine, those investments for our time, energy, and cellular damage, that produce outsized returns amidst various forms of risk. Young women within perception. Young men beyond perception. Young women and Young men need productive work during puberty, far more than they need further indoctrination. There is little value of school for more than four hours, and work for more than six hours. The purpose of all beyond that is political indoctrination and the consumption of human capital in exchange for increased taxation.
