    Here are my videos on the foundations of cognitive science, through the vision system. I haven’t yet produced perception: world modeling, or consciousness yet. But at that point:
    (a) you should understand how simple the brain is.
    (b) you should understand what’s required to produce artificial general intelligence
    (c) you will be able to understand and compare different artificial intelligence claims, models, and products.
    (d) and this will dramatically reduce your ‘fear’ of AI.
    (e) and then how any ‘bad’ AI must be DESIGNED to be bad, and can’t evolve to be bad on its own.

    MOST PSYCHOLOGISTS ARE TERRIBLE – BUT:
    For my money a few of the ‘relationship craftspeople’ are far better than most couple’s therapists. (Sarah Dawn Moore esp).

    I’ve started listening to some credential psychologists on YT who are trying to help people with dating and relationships recently. And there is something maybe good, and something a bit off and maybe bad, and I can’t quite disambiguate what that is. I think it’s the analogies they use when I’d expect ordinary incentives. That might be because education level (or intelligence) determines the frame in which you can be influenced by a psychologist’s means of suggestion. So maybe some of these people are used to talking to children and they’re just doing a terrible job talking to adults

    CAUSALITY IS OBVIOUS
    The economics of relationships are now asymmetric for the first time since the beginning of the agrarian expansion and the necessity of territory and assets for inheritance: women can play the androgynous role of social female, mother, economic worker, political taxpayer, which suppresses her femininity, but femininity is the only ‘good’ women provide men with.

    Second, with the burden of taxation, education, and 30 year mortages, a two-parent family isn’t sufficiently advantageous for either party – unless one doesn’t HAVE to work, but works for the social satisfaction and security.

    So really, other than sex there is too little value (utility) in marriage for too many people. As such, we should expect to see a return to marriage, serial monogamy, and no-monogamy that roughly reflects class structure. And we do.

    And we should expect to see fertile attractive women sharing a small number of sexual relations increasingly as we decline in class. And we should expect marital rotation, and infrequent marital stability – which we do and will.

    So, the question is, how do we produce a happy healthy population in the absence of majority nuclear-to-traditional families, without the social economic and political consequences that occur every other time this has happened? (Collapse).

    My expectation is that the current sexual ‘market crash’ will somewhat correct , and more so as the end of the american world trade system ends over the next decade or two. But that the lower classes, maybe even much of the middle class, are lost.

    And this will exacerbate the sex, culture, and race warfare that’s been escalating since the industrial revolution began.

    I don’t counsel relationships any longer. But I when I did, I simply worked on ‘what is the truth that you aren’t telling one another’. If the truth is unbearable, then the relationship can’t stand. Most of the time, the truth does solve the problem one way or another.

    Pretty much.
    Though we should teach the failure of the entire spectrum of trying to create friction by Marxism(Lower Class), neoMarxism(Cultural), Postmodern(Truth), Feminism(Sex), Libertarianism(Middle Class), NeoConservatism(Upper Class), PC, Woke(race).

    Each of these systems of deception uses Pilpul(Sophistry) and Critique(Undermining, Reputation Destruction, Canceling) to war against western civilization’s indoctrination into Individual Responsibility for Truth and Reciprocity In Everything.

    Lysenkoism: “All science must pass through the political lense” – it is not, as in the western tradition, science = truthful testimony under truth before face, competence, and dominance hierarchy, regardless of cost.

    And, just to remind you, this is an example of the genetic difference between female and male cognition: that feminine cognition cannot resist conflating independent truth/falsehood with their approval/disapproval.

    In other words – an unconscious incentive to lie. And to use social construction (fabrication) to lie.

    Race differences in performance are largely due to race differences in studiousness – which are partly race differences in neoteny, and otherwise (and sometimes causally) race differences in the cultural value of education.

    We have too much historical evidence that the principle difference, assuming you have *enough* IQ (not so much superior IQ) is just familial, social, cultural, and civilizational differences in value of education, and the discipline with which we engage in what is largely the repetitive work of learning different subjects.

    And no, we can’t do much about people under 90, and we can do nothing about people under 80. And some racial groups consist of demographic distributions in which half or more of the race’s population are under 85, or worse, 70 (and in a rare case 55).

    IMO the fundamental problem facing us today is teaching in the repetitive reading and written method, vs teaching the repetitive but adaptive method of adversarial competition of games that places less burden on attention and memorization and instead produces incentives to chase the rewards produced by games.

    After that, the primary problem is race differences in rates and depths of sexual maturity – which transmits to what we consider aggression, impulsivity, or indiscipline. This behavior is largely due to teaching groups by white germanic middle-class temperament. When some groups require greater physical exercise or socialization (playing sports largely) before they are able to focus on learning non-physical non-social knowledge.

    The big lie of equality or even similarity is what has caused the post-1945 failure of education, society, politics, and now economics.

    We are a bit too enamored of our technological progress based on previous scientific innovation, and a little too worried about our failure of fundamental scientific progress, and our horrific backsliding in psychological, sociological, and political progress.

    Reality is that the smart fraction – the people who can manage a STEM degree (120s) , or who can communicate complexity or manage large organizations (130s), or who can innovate in the fundamental sciences or theories (140s), provide the ONLY competitive advantage for a population. The rest of the population’s manners, ethics, morals, and discipline determine the productivity and quality of it.
