    THE END OF ART?
(For now, yes.) (All art is propaganda: signaling)
    RE: https://t.co/TZmov6NxgD

    Not bad but Justificationary.

    1) Misses Dimensions of Art Measurement: a) craftsmanship b) design c) insightful, meaningful, cultural content d) representation of the best of the period or movement.

    2) Confuses a) Fashion b) Craft and c) Art. Why? See #2.

    3) Obscures Dialectic/Pilpul (approval, plato) vs Truth (independent of approval, aristotle) Judaism > abrahamic religions combined with Plato > Hegel(Plato v2).
    |Hierarchy|: Personal Preference(personal) > Agreement between preferences(interpersonal) > Truth Independent of Preference or Agreement(political).

    4) Obscures the Economics of producer and consumer – that all we are seeing is an increase in wealth and a popularization of consumption and the relative abandonment of high art for aristocratic(wealth), noble(state), religious(social), signaling. ie: trifunctionalism: Religion(Social, Wants) <> Commercial(Trade, Supply) <> State (Politics, Limits)

    5) There is no high art today because art is a property of architecture – and we have none of merit. And the movie industry is a great attractor for talent and profit, so it’s more correct to say that the moving art has replaced the static art, just a mass media and social media have replaced pulpit and podium. In the performing arts, there are remnants of art in music in particular, somewhat less so in dance, less so in literature, less so in the play (including movies). Our participatory religion was an extension of the play – the original church of the indo europeans was the play (Tragedy). And it has lost all meaning.

    6) Simple version: art requires a natural aristocracy – and we have none. The common pepole consume increasing hedonism (simplicity).

    7) The decline in art was an intentional construction of the marxist revolution and the ‘march through the institutionals of cultural production’ by the series marxism(class relations), communism(private property, meritocracy), neomarxism(culture), postmodernism(truth, quality, judgement), feminism(family), libertarianism(commons), neoconservatism(political markets), woke(race marxism).

They wrote down what they were going to do. They funded it. The persued it. They succeeded at the conversion of high trust homogeneous northern european high culture into middle eastern low trust authority-seeking, tribalism.

It was done with malice and forethought. And they found a willing masses to follow them into the hills as did the pied piper.

All art is propaganda. Whether personal, private, or public. It’s signaling.

    Cheers

I knew it was nonsense. 😉
Source “Sputnik” RU state owned media company – a news organization.
    Claim: “Using world bank data”.
There is no evidence in the world bank data that RU economy is over 1.7 to 1.8T.
Oil revenue is down 47% as of last month, even though production has returned to pre-war levels. Meaning there is less of a chance of a repeat of the destruction of oil infrastructure from disuse, even if threat of failure of infrastructure due to the departure of service companies.
It may mean that the government throwing money into military production is increasing production – I don’t (we don’t) know.
That doesn’t mean that the economy isn’t larger, but it means that the data is, as far as I know, propaganda.
