ITS TIME TO CARE ABOUT OURSELVES

—“I’ve reached the point where our own people have enough problems that I don’t have a lot of time for those of others. No-one else cares about us. In fact, no-one else cares about anyone but themselves.”—

    Good mission statement.

“We have enough problems. no one cares about us. they care about themselves, We need to care about ourselves.”

    Aristocratic Egalitarianism.

Northern European society rewarded producers and punished everyone else. We used high trust, and high suppression of free riding to force everyone into the market productivity.

That is a very inhospitable place for free riders and parasites and the unproductive.

How do the unproductive make room for themselves in a productive society?

The problem I have with this table, is that I’m not sure that the european side is true. Because hunter-gatherer and cattle-raider are two different things. And I think our unique ethic comes from cattle raiding.

So wait. If a warrior militia tells the truth. And if a warrior militia is all that is available to hunter gatherers under harsh environmental conditions, where others are valued rather than disposable, is civilization simply a means of increasing our ability to lie with increasing impunity? Sure looks like it…..

  • Does Our Economy All Come Down To Truth Telling?

The Militia Creates Truth Telling? The epistemological constraint of warriors? Empirical Science (aristotelianism) has evolved into a universal language. The voluntary organization of production under property and rule of law have evolved into a universal language. Scientific research and production take place within a society. The society vastly impacts the quality of that research and production. The people conducting research carry with them the assumptions of their societies. Some societies excel at conducting scientific research. Some societies are all but incapable of conducting scientific research. Some societies excel at instituting property rights and rule of law. Some societies are all but incapable of instituting property rights and rule of law. Some societies excel at constructing trust Some societies are all but incapable of constructing trust. Some societies excel at institutionalizing telling the truth. Some societies are all but incapable of institutionalizing telling the truth. What makes a society tell the truth, construct trust, institute property rights, and conduct scientific research? Telling the truth. Why tell the truth? For voluntary warriors it’s a matter of life and death. If nearly every man is a warrior, and only warriors possess wealth, and for warriors truth is a matter of life and death. From that position came the west’s rise. —Small numbers + technology + truth + contract—

    WE ARE COMPATIBLE

1 – MALE AND FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE COMPATIBILISM.

2 – PROGRESSIVE, LIBERTARIAN, AND CONSERVATIVE MORAL COMPATIBILISM.

3 – ARISTOCRATIC AND ASHKENAZI SOCIAL COMPATIBILISM.

You know, that it’s democracy that makes us incompatible. Because under democracy, we have nothing but tyranny of the majority, because democracy merely justifies monopoly. The market allows us to cooperate even though we have different preferences and values. But the market can’t always help us with commons. Why isn’t the government like a market; a place for exchanges, rather than a means of justifying one group’s dominance of another?

    THE TRUTH MAKES US COMPATIBLE.

But only if the law reflects the truth.

There is only one moral principle.

And every time we violate it, we lose an opportunity for mutually constructive exchange. We create conflict.

We were the people who told the truth. They taught us to lie.
