  • The Construction Of A Civil Order

    by John Dow I would define a ‘Civil Order’ as the result of successfully negotiated, reciprocal social construction. In order to successfully negotiate a condition of interpersonal reciprocity we must have incentive to: 1) reciprocally participate (suppression of parasitism), 2) trust that exchange shall be honoured (insurance) and; 3) commensurable means of reference and calculation (truthful speech and operational law). Mindfulness practiced correctly enables one to better conceive of the externalities of their behaviour and the actual and/or potential social rewards and punishments which accrue from these externalities. Thus, as Mindfulness generates greater rationality in the practitioner, it generates greater capacity to calculate reciprocity, therefore generating greater capacity to successfully negotiate reciprocity.     For 500 years, europeans have made the market and increase in markets a group evolutionary advantage through the combination of advanced technologies – especially in weapons, rule of law and the cult of jurors, and accounting. However, if you haven’t noticed, *the market is not a disadvantage to group evolutionary strategy*. Ergo: the advancement of group evolutionary strategy that is succeeding is the extra-market strategy. Just as the group evolutionary strategy of warfare is extra-state. So if I could wish my brothers to understand something, it would be, that return to our usual occupation of warriors, raiders, and conquerors is once again more profitable than markets. And that’s not a theory it’s evidence. It’s Time For Viking.

    It’s pretty simple. You either build europe or east asia and develop eugenically, or you build *anything else* and you get india, south america, arabia, or africa, and you develop dysgenically.

    The central problem is trivial: eugenic reproduction.

    —“Curt, do you see a difference in competitiveness between people of similar IQ quotients? Do you think people are more likely to cooperate at higher IQs or vice versa?”—

    As far as I know competitiveness is a dominance trait, and I have not seen variations in dominance by intelligence, only in *technique used* by intelligence. In other words, smarter people have a broader range of competitive tools to work with and so you see a broader variety of expressions of dominance.

    People at higher IQ’s have more opportunities for fruitful cooperation because peers are more likely to possess a valuable position, resources, and idea, even if they have fewer people that they can cooperate with.
