Theme: Constitutional Order

  • Ignorance by Design

There were maybe 10-15 people in my law school Constitutional Law class who’d read the entire Constitution. Only one had ever read the Federalist Papers—and that was before undergrad, not part of undergrad.

—“About the Propertarian Constitution, is it only for the United States of America or all of North America and Europe?”—

A general constitution, with customizations for the american reformation. It is for any country in western civilization (Or any civilization) – presuming customizations. The political structure – means of producing acts – will vary most depending upon the tastes of the population. And the possible choices are listed. We tend to think government is the subject we should focus on, but it’s really the law, then the economy, then the government. Hopefully our constitution corrects this problem and refocuses us on the law and economics – even though our concept of economics is balance sheet rather than income statement driven so includes culture etc. It’s structured as:

    • The Complaint: The reason for the reformation.

    • The Strategy: the ‘tradition’ of european peoples that explains the entire social system in strictly constructed form.

    • The Law: the law that expresses that tradition (definitions, the law, rights and obligations)

    • The Constitution: the constitution proper, that describes the function of every institution political, social, and familial. It’s possible each country(kingdom), or federation(empire) might want to modify these as they see fit.

    • The Acts: Actions that are specific to the american experiment. Every country or group of countries would replace these and add their own acts

    • The Restitutions: the “restitutions and punishments for crimes against our people”: Every country would replace and add their own restitutions and punishments.

  • Russian Declaration

    Mar 3, 2020, 9:37 PM

“The Russian Federation, united by a thousand-year history, preserving the memory of the ancestors who transmitted to us the ideals and faith in God, as well as the continuity in the development of the Russian state, recognizes the historical state unity,”

Declares boundaries. May make claim on other territories by implication.

“The state language of the Russian Federation throughout its territory is Russian as the language of a state-forming people”

The declaration of the state and its assets as the property of the ethnically Russian people is an interesting development, that disambiguates nation state into ethno-state.

“The priority of Russian laws over international law (the amendment will allow not to comply with decisions of international courts, in particular the ECHR and the International Criminal Court);”

Good. Same needs be done for the USA.

“Restriction on the occupation of higher posts for persons who have *EVER* had a second citizenship or residence permit in another country;”

Well, that’s useful for at least three classes of people. immigrants, jews, a lot of the oligarchs and their families.

“Senior officials banned from having accounts or other assets abroad”

Asid from loyalties, this will bar many competitors for the presidency from competing with putin or his replacement.
