If it makes people tolerate modernity so that they can continue to be ruled, exploited, displaced, replaced, and conquered, then it will have done what we predicted it would. If not for democracy I would welcome it because it provides mindfulness and a docile underclass and working class population that all rulers seek.

Now what is difference between the PRESUMPTION of an impossibility of the sophistry of ‘self ownership’ and the evidentiary necessity of sovereignty and reciprocity among voluntary warriors (see organization of piracy). The difference is using the sophistry of self ownership to circumvent the need for a universal militia responsible for creating sovereignty and reciprocity from which property is the result. 1) Naive true belief in whatever social myth of the given one grows up with ->
2) Individualist, anarchist rebellion, criticism of authoritarianism ->
3) Paternalistic reconstruction and recovery of all the above, engagement with it despite its pitfalls (revealed through the anarchist “thought experiment”) We can allow people their developmental phase but we need elders to limit the externalities and snap people out of it as quickly as possible.
