THE ONLY THINGS THAT MELT IN THIS POT, ARE RULE OF LAW, HIGH TRUST, THE COMMONS, AND THE VOLUNTARISM OF THE CIVIC SOCIETY

—-“For along with strange people, strange doctrines must come in; and novel doctrines bring novel decisions, from which there must arise many feelings and resolutions which destroy the harmony of the existing political order. Therefore he thought it more necessary to keep bad manners and customs from invading and filling the city than it was to keep out infectious diseases.”—Plutarch

Had a profound insight today quite by accident, and the framing of government as ‘reproduction’ (commons) and ‘production’ trade.

I’m trying to identify the ‘false’ metaphpysical value judgements we rely upon in the west.

one of them is hard to describe – it’s the tendency of people to think they can step off the train of the world and the train of the world keeps going and they can re-board the train when they understand what’s going on. But that’s not true any more than every time we launch a satellite we slow the earth’s rotation a bit. So there is this concept of stasis to the world that is false.

The other is what we call the time preference theory of interest – but which is an incomplete statement. Man decreases time to produce, he does not increase production.

another is the concept of the government as a singular entity other than a hierarchy of necessary functions in order to construct two orders: the order of reproduction, and to facilitate that with the order of production.

The current system of ‘individual’ government conflates all these processes and is constructed for little more than the systematic destruction of the system of reproduction : the family.

So, I’m going to keep on this for a bit and see if I can find a narrative that wraps all propertarian metaphysics of cooperation (the story or model of how our human world operates) into something comprehensible.

If I can do that then the problem of telling a story weaving together the rather numerous ideas in propertarianism and testimonialism will be much easier to distribute to others.

Right now its just too many ideas without a central narrative.

The central narrative is that we’re destroying the system of reproduction (family and tribe, and nation-state) and creating a corporation (industrializing human reproduction and production) except it looks like it’s counter productive.

It is transformative, just like war is, or just like the Chinese did. It’s transformative to industrialize great movements. But once the transformation is complete, you are still stuck with returning to survival, reproduction, and production.

    THE COMMONS?

Information, Air, Water, Land, Physical Capital, Institutions, Norms, Traditions, Myths – people DEMONSTRATE that they treat these as commons: “that which may not be consumed”.

That is what constitutes property-en-toto: that which man has paid costs (of any kind) to acquire and inventory.

NOMOCRACY: RULE OF LAW AND MARKET GOVERNMENT ARE THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE

Markets in everything: A Market for Goods and Services(“Capitalism”), A Market for Commons (“Government”), A Market for Dispute Resolution (“Rule” – and independent judiciary under the one law of property).

The care-taking of the unable and the requirement of self support for reproduction. Imposing costs upon others is antithetical to civilization – eradication of it is the purpose of civilization. While insurance against the vicissitudes of nature is necessary for risk, the guarantee of dependence is mere theft by intention not accident.

Communism Fails (authority). Democratic Socialism Fails(democracy). Libertinism Fails(individualism).

The only solution is MARKET GOVERNMENT. And market governance requires rule of law.

INTOLERANCE IS A HIGH COST, A HIGH TAX THAT WE MUST PAY. TOLERANCE IS A FREE RIDING – A DISCOUNT, A THEFT NOT A VIRTUE.

    Living Light – and safe.

Sure, I have the contents of a four bedroom house in storage. But otherwise, my life consists of a little red sportscar, six large duffel bags full of wardrobe, a suitcase full of computer gear, and my working computer, id, iPad/exterior monitor, sound system, prescriptions, cables, batteries, umbrella, rain poncho, cash and a few gold coins I keep in my (very fancy) backpack and I never ever take my eye off of it. I keep a cord lock in the backpack and lock it to whatever I can when I am in a public place. Worst case I have a run bag with me at all times.

Part of this habit is living in an iffy place during the revolution. Part of it is what my government did to me and am forever traumatised by. Part of it was what my divorce did to me. Part of it is autistic in that I must have rituals to remember where I put things. Part of it is just feeling that I don’t need to worry.

I sleep with my phone, backpack and laptop next to the bed. So I don’t worry about them

In America I always carry a sidearm out of advocacy. I have only needed it three times. Once when a psycho came after me and Allora when I turned his criminal activity in. And twice when people of different Color decided I was a target late at night. Yelling “help police!!” While pointing a sidearm is very different from returning the threat with macho.

I know too many people who have had car trunks robbed because someone watched them place items in the boot then either waited or followed them to their next destination and stolen them.

I have too much experience with east coast urban life. I know the evil men do. When I lived in Back Bay in Boston my heart raced twice a day: when I woke up and checked to see if my car was still there, and when I came home and checked to see that the door had not been banged in by thieves.

I never feel as unsafe in Ukraine as I did in every American city.

    You know why?

    Intolerance.

Men beat the hell out of you here for the slightest threatening action just like they used to in America.

Every man a sheriff. Every man intolerant. Every man a hangman.

    Intolerance is a high tax.

    But we must pay it.

  • The Purpose of Forming A Polity? Discounts.

[C]ommons produce opportunities (lower opportunity costs) and reduce risk (reduce transaction costs), the purpose of which is to incentivize people to seize opportunities. In other words, it is not that the externalities are non-excludable (because many are) but that ***the purpose of forming a polity is the production of discounts on opportunity costs, transaction costs, and switching costs.*** This is the source of wealth. we are not wealthier in time and effort, we have used time and effort to decrease costs such that everything is cheaper in time and effort. Externalities may be non excludable, but the creation of negative externalities is open to prohibition, and universally prohibited. That’s what distinguishes ‘moral’ (external) and ‘ethical’ (internal). We prohibit both internal (unethical) and external (immoral) actions all the time in all cultures in all civilizations. (and we likewise fail to for that matter.) Lets define ‘underproduced’ as referring to a structure of production of a good or service that is impossible to construct under the voluntary organization of production. The method of producing such ‘underproduced’ goods then is subsidy. Which is exactly how we do it. We take money from other structures of production (distort them), and we instead buy (incentivize) people to produce the ‘underproduced’ good or service. This is called a mixed economy. And everywhere I know of practices a mixed economy. The question I think at hand, is not whether a mixed economy in fact produces greater wealth for all members, it is whether acts of parasitism and genetic warfare are employed within this mixed economy because of the consequences of reliance upon monopoly government. And I think the vote is in: yes. Democracy is used by the worst people to prey upon the best. There is no value in burning middle and upper class genes to increase lower middle and lower class genes. And that is what we are doing. That is all we are doing, when we engage in producing ‘unproducables’. Curt Doolittle The Philosophy of Aristocracy The Propertarian Institute Kiev, Ukraine
