All of which require reporting: testimonial truth: empirical, observable, description, of existential events.
That is the origin of the west and its difference from the rest. Everything that is unique and superior in the west derives from that sequence of dependencies. And the slow manufacture of agency, and then sovereignty, through demonstration of agency, in markets for association, cooperation, reproduction, production, production of commons, production of polities, and production of justice and defense.
Everything else is the church, state, academy taking credit for what is the product of truth, contract, and trade among men who personally insure themselves and one another against any alternative other than trade.
The church is a disicipline of liars. The west evolved differently from the rest in spite of the lies of the church, by preserving the aristocratic religion of western man.
